"Tranzas, very high prices for their terrible service and food. I WILL NOT COME TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I have known this katsura for many years and it is noticeable how over time it has lost quality, both in the service and in the food, first they served me still mineral water, then I ordered some edamame that seems to have been sold to me one at a time, They gave me a small plate of edamame and when I asked the waiter he told me that because the owners were cutting the plates to save money, But how do they not cut the prices too? Because when asking for an Udon Soup that by the way lost a lot of quality, the waitress told me that a dish would cost about $38 dollars just to put meat, chicken and shrimp in it. I really liked the food at this place and it was always one of my family's favorite restaurants, but it seems that the owners lost interest, poorly trained waiters, no information about any dish and disabilities in customer service. With owners who think only of their benefit, I see why this is full of bad reviews, exaggerated prices for the service they provide. I won't come again."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time last night and enjoyed the buffet. The food was outstanding and well worth it! My wife had the onion soup, which was incredibly flavorful, while I savored the buffet, which exceeded my expectations. All the seafood dishes were well-prepared and delicious. The General Tso's chicken was lightly battered, and the prime rib was tender and full of flavor. I will definitely be returning here. Lastly, I can't forget to mention the staff's hospitality and attention to detail, which were exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful evening!"

"Placed an online order at 04:00 PM and put the pick up time for 5:45 PM (just in time for the Superbowl). When I got there at 5:30 PM for the pick up, they looked at me with 2 heads saying they don't know what I'm talking about. I showed then the online order through my phone and they said they weren't looking at online orders. So why offer it? Waited approximately an hour for my food (all desserts are store bought). Chicken was very good, the rest was microwaved/reheated trash (ribs were cold, mashed potatoes collard greens were bad). No compensation, just an apology and an hour wait. Bad service overall. You just lost an occasional customer. Would not recommend."

"When we searched we didn't find any vegan options only restaurants. This is definitely a fantastic alternative. We have had epic Indian and epic vegan coming from NYC...this is right up there when we are talking about the actual Indian food. Nice option. Not epic. But I'd say check it out. And my husband commented that you can't beat college town prices!"

"I want to change my original bad review. On 07/28/2023 we placed an order with Antonella’s Italian Kitchen thru Uber Eats for us to pick up. Antonella’s called us and said they did not have the food available and cannot complete the order. They were going on vacation. We agreed to their cancellation.However, Antonella charged us $32.86. We appealed to Uber but Uber said Antonella noted they began the order and we cancelled, when in fact they cancelled. However, my wife went into Antonella's and discussed the problem. He graciously refunded the mistake. We definitely plan to patronize Antonella's in the future!"

"Found myself stopping by The Original Pita Stop to grab an early dinner. It took about 20mins to get our food and it took about 6 mins to regret it!!! I ate about 2/3 of my Pepper Steak Omelette. About that time, I took off to the bathroom and 1/2 of that omelette came aggressively back with a might my force. The kitchen staff heard me retching and gagging and didn’t say a word. Once I finished hurling, I beckoned my husband to let’s go. The young lady that checked us out told us the meal was free then my server came to the register with our receipt and said “that’ll be $32”. Did they really just charge me for a meal that was in the toilet??!?! Eat at your own peril is all I have to say!!!"

"Our experience at Frazier’s was unfortunately a very frustrating one. They were completely overbooked, resulting in a long wait to be seated although we had reservations. They were short on wait staff and therefore everything took a very long time. The waiter was not attentive at all and only seemed to be concerned about our poor service at the end when he delivered our bill. Between the time we decided what we wanted for dinner and when he returned min later, they ran out of the dishes we were planning to order. It was a very disappointing experience at a restaurant we have always loved. After all we went thru, I would have thought they would have offered some type of olive branch—dessert or appetizers on the house, etc. Sadly, I wonder if dining in a post-pandemic environment will continue to be a frustrating experience—higher restaurant bills and poor service."

"This will be my first and last time ordering from here. The Greek salad was predominantly just lettuce, with only three pieces of green pepper and two olives. The veggie platter was mostly made up of onions, which were cut in various forms. Do they really think we wouldn't notice? The lemon roasted potatoes were dry and seemed to have been reheated. Overall, the food was bland, lacking any seasoning or flavor. It was incredibly overpriced for what we received. I'm very disappointed."

"Wow! This was my first time ordering from here, and I have to say, the young man who answered the phone was absolutely delightful. I didn’t catch his name, but he truly excelled in customer service and had great communication skills! The food is incredibly tasty, and the pasta portions are massive. We ordered lasagna, sopressata and hot honey pizza (delicious!), pesto bread, chicken alfredo, and the spaghetti and meatballs dinner. Everything was fantastic! I’m definitely switching my delivery pizza orders to Italian Brothers from now on."

"We decided to support our small local business today. Our last visit to Caruso’s was good. This was definitely a mistake. We should have turned around after stepping out of the car in ankle length grass. We passed many restaurants on our way home just to support local because without local business the corporate world could control everything. The menu does note that prices have increased and I do understand that. Upon ordering we were even discussing pricing in front of the lady waiting on us. After ordering we noticed ants on the window. After getting the salad on the table the ants started to gravitate towards the food. The pizza came shortly after. The pizza was good and the ingredients were fresh. I had to get up and wait a while to get a box. She asked me if I was ready and I told her yes mainly because I wasn’t going to sit back with the ants. I was going to inform her about the situation but she was on the phone. While she was ringing up the order. I was looking at the menu to try and figure out why we were being charged $29 for a $17.75 pizza and a $2.99 side salad. She quickly said prices increased and it’s very expensive for us to change menus. I do understand that if prices increase for a business that they do have to pass it on to the customer. I couldn’t understand a almost $10 price difference though. There should at least be some type of menu that the customer could refer to that does have a current price. Since I don’t want to go to a restaurant that I may not know what price I will pay, I’ll take my business elsewhere. At the prices that they are charging now I could have eaten at a much higher class place where I would not have to worry about the ants. I didn’t intend on placing this in the reviews but when you inquire about something you shouldn’t get attitude. We were in the process of paying but couldn’t understand the steep price. Everything was good and the attitude changed when I asked why it was so much different. As I have said in the past I much rather leave a good review but if you are reading my reviews you should know the truth as well. "I give this place five start. For me as a chef I want great customer service, healthy and a safe environment, with savory delicious options. After receiving awesome service, I was sold to continue my dinner with some of Chicago's best Latino chefs. They had no idea we were all chefs so it made it fun. The owner was kind enough to share his story of Parilla express. The cook with his friendly smile made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dinner. Well deserved! "Burgers were dried out but raw meat on my pickle gross. Took forever then food didn't come out hot, probably because they have 3 girls trying to do everything and bartend. "I decided to try out El Sol with my wife a few days ago. It mush have been pretty busy because when we entered, we ended up having to wait a few minutes until someone acknowledged that we were there. The entire time there was someone else in front of us and a couple other people entered after us and was waiting in a line to be seated. All throughout the meal it was like that, as if there were not enough waiters there. I ordered the Burrito el Sol and my wife had the Carnitas Platter. I thought the burrito was pretty bland and tended to leak grease from the ground beef, but my wife liked her meal a lot. At the end, they had us pay at the register in the front rather than at the table which was probably a good thing since it would have likely taken forever to get back to us. It was a decent place, but I liked El Mezcal down the road a little more."

"Had my birthday dinner here I was so happy ! Searched for three hours for a place and this was it ! Pulled pork was probably the best I have ever had in my life ! Fried chicken was moist and juicy ! Cooked to perfection ! I can say enough how you need to stop here if traveling south ! It?s worth a drive ! Now the service was beyond exceptional ! I have never had such great service with a smile !
