"Worst delivery experience I?ve had to date. As a person who?s worked in the industry for 20 years, it?s nearly impossible to make me displeased enough to leave a review. I ordered take out from this establishment in June and was sent the complete wrong dish. I managed bc at least it was still pretty good, although not what I wanted. I decided to give them another shot. I ordered penne vodka with crabmeat at a total of $19. What got delivered to my house was plain penne pasta with blush sauce? not one piece of crab. I nicely called and explained to them what happened and the man who answered the phone told me ?I?m lying? and that ?his chef swears I?m crazy and that he made it correctly. He proceeded to argue with me about how I?m wrong and didn?t offer any ways on how to fix this situation. Then he asked me if he could put me on hold as I heard him talking negatively about me to staff members saying that I?m nuts and he believes them and ?ya just can?t make people happy? ? when I told him I heard what he said he responded.. ?you?re right, you can?t? ? this was the most unprofessional thing I?ve ever encountered and this place will never get another dollar of my money"

"The online ordering system is terrible. Ordered $87 worth of food and every sandwich came plain . No lettuce, tomato, condiments, etc that usually come standard on the sandwiches per the menu description. According to the very unhelpful woman on the phone, you need to select each and every topping when ordering online, not just additional/extra toppings that don 't come standard. You 'd think when you see an online order come in and EVERY sandwich is plain, you 'd call the customer and check to see if possibly they misunderstood your crappy online ordering system. Zero steps taken by the lady on the phone to rectify the situation and maybe make it right on an almost $100 order. Our office used to order food from here regularly. Never again. There 's a reason your business was empty when we walked in today."

"20. January 2022 I ordered 15 chicken wings a stromboli with chicken and a Sicilian pizza. This was my first time in ordering this facility and it will be my last. The chicken wings had more fat and skin when it had meat, and for the Stromboli my girlfriend said it was too salty and it looked sloppy what I saw as they suspected how they look and how for the Sicilian pizza it was too thin, not to look like a Sicilian pizza because I had really Sicilian pizza before, but now too fair the pizza tasted good otherwise. I called back the pizza place and spoke to the young man at the counter who took my order and expressed my dissatisfaction with my order, as I spent $52 for everything I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, he told me that no one was there, and he would have called me back a female oversight in ten minutes that never happened. I was also not impressed by the interior either nothing in the display case or price menu characters on the walls and no seat tables it had a boring look. I've never seen all customers coming from this facility or going and never heard the phone ring once while I was there before I went with my order. That was a sign that this place was not a good place to eat and it is close to a college campus. I do not recommend this pizza place at all and I recommend you to find another place to eat and spend your money. Tony unsatisfactory customer)"

"I ordered a mushroom cheesesteak with fried onions and a order of chicken nuggets. Order came very fast. But there were no mushrooms on my steak anywhere I looked!! So I called back to the store to tell them that there were no mushrooms on my steak.He said wait a minute Ms. I could hear him asking the cook about the mushrooms. "This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"This restaurant used to be our favorite, but two weeks ago our order was wrong and we had to drive all the way back for a correct pizza. Tonight, we ordered a personal pizza with extra onion, which cost an additional $2.50. A 3 lb bag of onions for a regular consumer is only $2.50 to $3.00, so the markup for extra onion is excessive. The portion of onion we received for the price was disappointing. We took a picture for reference. Overall, the meal was average and the service and atmosphere were also rated as average. "The pizza was so freaking good. The crust sauce cheese everything was great. I even reheated it today in the oven…still delicious which is not easy to accomplish) The best thing was the service. My delivery driver actually apologized for the delay because I was given a 10-30 min time frame( which is extremely fast, I usually wait at least and hour at other places)He only missed it by 5 like mins AND it was snowing that day. Just shows that they have consideration for there customers. It’s the little things for me. I will definitely put them in my “go to” rotation"

"Either the cooks can't read or don't care, or the order is not being taken properly. I've been coming here for years but it's been a min and I came twice over this past weekend and both times the food was missing items, I was told upon arrival that they were out of what I ordered (mind you, I called the order in and they could've called me back to tell me that) during the second visit and I had to wait for something else to be cooked, I was given the bottom of the pan old, and clumpy, discolored cheese wiz. Charged for cheese the first time and didn't get it and no pickles on the side as requested. To make matters worse I picked up my order last night made it all the way to Bear Delaware to find out my food was still wrong it was not supposed to have tomatoes and onions on it and it had tomatoes and onions on it. I'm greatly disappointed as a food service worker who was an exceptional waitress for years and now a chef. After an 11-hour shift I would hope to come home to not cook and eat one of my favorite sandwiches from gaetano's but I was greatly disappointed twice in 3 days. I would make sure if you were my guest your food would be perfect everything you wanted would be there and if something on the plate doesn't look appealing I wouldn't serve it to you!"

"Most food is average but the pizza is really poor. I?ve seen a lot of reviews for this place that say how good the pizza is and it makes me doubt the reviews are legit. I understand supply and demand and I understand that the food delivery business has been booming since this whole Covid thing has been going on. So I can?t blame them for ?capitalizing? on the situation and raising their prices somewhat. But they raised their prices WAY up. AND 3 dollars for a delivery charge? That?s insane! I usually tip about 5 dollars and I?m a half mile away. 8 dollars for delivery ain?t gonna happen for me and I?m not going to screw the driver just so the owner can profit on delivery. I found out about the price increase last night when I ordered delivery and when the driver tried to hand me an updated menu I told him to give it back to his boss because I won?t need a capital menu again. Including the tip, it cost me $28.35 for 1order of Capital Fries and 2 (very small) slices of cake. That?s leaning toward price gouging if you ask me."

"I have no idea how in the world this place has a 4 plus star review. I have been to Anthony's multiple times and ordered take out multiple times. Each time I am more and more disappointed. Not sure why I keep ordering from here?? The service is absolutely horrible and the food isn't even mediocre. Seems things are not fresh and not much thought goes into the flavor combinations of the dishes. Tonight I ordered take out and got a chicken cutlet sandwich with day old dry chicken cutlet and a buffalo chicken cheesesteak that was absolutely disgusting. We didn't finish our food and ended up in the trash. The only good thing about Anthony's is the space and the cocktails I have been in Downingtown for 6 years now and thinking it's time to just stop hoping it will get better."

"The food at this restaurant is below the quality of many other places in the area. It's disappointing to see that Francos allows their delivery drivers to park on all corners of the intersection, blocking crosswalks and curb cuts. This is a real concern for the neighborhood, especially for local children and elderly residents, if anyone is paying attention to their safety. Regarding kid-friendliness: there were 42 pedestrian deaths in Philadelphia last year."

"I was born in Brooklyn and grew up and lived most of my life in the NYC/NJ area, so I know great pizza when I taste it, and this is it!! My wife grew up around here, and we moved to Oreland in 2010. I feel so lucky to have Oreland Pizza just down the road from us! I love their regular cheese pizza, but the mushroom pizza is fantastic too! And, my Mother-in-law loves the veggie pizza! I also love their burgers, turkey club, and French fries, as well. Their food has always been consistently fresh over the years, and the staff have always been nice, too! Keep on doing what you're doing! We really appreciate you!!!"
