"My 1st time coming here with my 5 sisters our mom. Our server came to the table 1 to give menus, 2 took orders 3 brought water food… we had to go to the bar in between that for beers refills because the waitress literally did not check on us.. I didn’t realize there’s 2 sides to the restaurant, which interestingly enough 2 brothers have Billy’s they both had their own ideas what they wanted to do.. each brother took a side decorated it their own. Anyhoo we waited for quite awhile to get our tabs just to say, this girl missed out on a fabulous tip since most of us have been servers do own businesses. Don’t worry she still got a few dollars for the food being good"

"Ok this is a cool little place with a nice vibe to it. Food was avg Mexican affair but good service and great prices. Frozen Margarita was very good and plenty of alcohol. I would of given 4stars but because it's has great prices I gave it a 5 star. Definitely worth coming here if your in a Mexican food kind of mood and don't want to spend lots of on it."

"I had heard great things about this restaurant, but I was a bit hesitant because the last two places recommended to me downtown didn't quite live up to the hype. However, I decided to give it a try with my wife and her friend, and I'm pleased to say it's now in our top 5 favorite restaurants in town. The food was excellently seasoned, and for three people, the prices were very reasonable. The fries and the sauce were fantastic. I would definitely return to explore more items on the menu!"

"I had a strong craving for a delicious cheeseburger, so I decided to give this place a try. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly man behind the counter who patiently helped me and my family choose what to order since it was our first time there. I opted for "The Mega Extreme Cheeseburger" with a side of fries and a drink. When my order arrived promptly and I took my first bite, I was blown away. The homemade burger was packed with all the ingredients listed on the menu and the fries were perfectly seasoned and made fresh. I couldn't resist trying some ranch dressing on the side, and after one taste I could tell it was homemade. I can't wait to go back for another burger and to try their onion rings!"

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. Burnt cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"The quality of the Iron Horse food and menu have significantly declined over the past two years. This may be due in part to the fact that there are no longer any other options for sit down dining in the tiny community of Nevis. While the quality of the food and the amount of food served have decreased, the prices have continued to increase noticeably. The beer is warm and the drinks are expensive and weak. Beyond that, the staff is of an even lower quality, lacking in professionalism, integrity, and are not efficient in serving. My family used to frequent this establishment and our attempts at giving them business have been less every year. Unfortunately, this combination of poor service, disappointing food and high prices has our entire family at a point of, literally, no return. We have homes on the community lake and have numerous visitors and company throughout the year. We will not subject any of our guests to such an embarrassingly poor experience."

"The stag was amazing and great. The atmosphere is just genuinely amazing. Now as for the pricing for the food note if you do not pay cash there is 3.6% additional charge to your meal. So I ordered the 2 meat combo plate fatty sliced brisket (up charge there, 4 ribs up charge. I get it more than anything on the ribs being up charge which I travel and that is just basic. But for the size of these ribs I would have given only .25 for them. Chilis has bigger baby back ribs than this place. There was no flavor at all to any of this meat except for salt. Fatty brisket was not even juicy or tender only one slice actually at all smoke ring to it let alone taste liquid smoke flavor to it. The coleslaw was another thing here made me feel like I didn’t have to chew it at all. It’s like they got a head of cabbage and coleslaw dressing and went into the blender and add sugar hit frappe. I felt like I paid 19.10 for a plate of mushed coleslaw a baked potato with 2 pieces of cornbread. They base the meat combo off of chopped chicken and chopped pork. So yeah not a place for me to ever go again."

"This is one of my top five fast food burgers ever! Double cheese plus bacon hold the pickles mustard. Hand pressed fresh meat burgers make ALL the difference!! Plus, the fries are like nothing I’ve had before. It’s a thicker, larger cut fry but smaller than a jojo. Not sure if they’re house cut or not but they’re on point, too. Place has been here nearly 70 years and I wouldn’t change a thing. Their outdoor eating has almost a park like ambiance with an interesting mix of tourists (like us) and locals. They jammed through the orders, too!! Not much more than a 5-7 minute wait. Shakes are made from hard ice cream and make sure you save room for a brownie sundae. At $6 it’s a great value that would easily feed two as long as one of them is not me. Good food, good value, friendly folks 5/5 across the board!! Bravo, Milt where ever you are!!!"

"5 stars breakfast! we stopped on our road trip and were worried because we saw a Dennys and mcdonalds as early piece options, but found this place right above the road on google. what a great sound. how many places post pandemic they seem to be with what seems to be a person serving the entire restaurant. Although this was the case that we were served quickly, our food was out in no time and we wanted nothing. breakfast is all in the details because we all know that it is quite hard to screw. here are some things that make a 5-star breakfast in my book. 1. Egg cooked perfectly and served hot. 2. thick speck, which is crisp and was patched dry. 3. light and fluffy pancakes can cut them with a fork. 4. a bottle warm sirup no small packings or a small stingy cup. 5. The biggest cookie I've ever seen, tasty, butter in the teig, delicious."
