"Expensive for a very little amount of food. We ordered the manicotti and they are tiny and not homemade with a heavy tasting meat sauce rather than a marinade. The food was saturated in a more salty and garlic taste rather than fresh taste. The tea tasted old as though it had been left sitting out. When I asked about the tea they said they make it the night before; I was there at 7pm, you could taste it. I wasn't offered any compensation or exchange for the tea. Positive: they do is take a student discount for State Tech students."

"The food is okay but it's completely befuddling when you cant ask for a simple split payments on two different CCs when every other single restaurant in town does so she was either lying to me or didn't and couldn't figure it out! And this was a manager no less. I will never spent my money at this particular location ever again. I bet the whataburger down the road would have split my payment and I'd be happy eating my food instead of writing this rant and formal complaint to the manager on staff during this time. "On the whole my experience with the food at Whataburger has been good. The service in the atmosphere have on occasion been less than exceptional. But then again it's a fast food joint what do you expect. I go there to eat not socialize. One thing I am very fond of is the grilled onions on their burgers. "I've visited this location for years and it's been average at best, small town employee pool is fairly small. Earlier this year I went in on trip to my farm from DFW. Stopped in ordered food it came in a reasonable amount of time. i decided I wanted a Dr. Pepper shake to finish the drive I walked to the counter and stood patiently for 10 minutes no one else was at the counter only three customers in store customers eating with heads down a young lady at front counter wearing a mask and ear muffs passed me several times doing busy work straightening straws cups etc.I left the store and got in my truck but changed my mind determined to get a shake. I'm 64 years old and generally polite after 7 minute's and multiple excuse me could you help me. i said Am I Invisible? Which brought a howl from this young lady and every Employee in the store to the front counter I asked where the manager was at on of the crowd of 7 8 announced I am and informed me I couldn't talk to that way in a loud voice I never raised my voice. Ever during this exchange I asked this person where have y'all been leaving alone this rant means nothing I just want to let you know last time I'll spend at this location."

"We visited this restaurant today, October 14, 2023, at 4:30 PM, and spent over $50. We've never had any issues here before, but this time was different. An employee informed us that we weren't allowed to take ketchup ourselves and that he could only hand it out. "Poor service, I have gave this place many chances. I literally had to wait in line for 30 minutes and it was only one car Infront of me. When I get to the window to pay I had to wait another 5 minutes because the lady was on the phone. I don't even know why I waited in line that long. Half of the cars behind me even left because it took so long. I love this place but this location needs better workers and speed things up. It's called fast food not slow food. I could have cooked a whole meal all the time I waited. Even if they had to cook the food to make it fresh they should have said something. This is just not right."

"It's been a while since I have been to a WB that has had fresh buns and produce to put on my burger, this place had both. It was clean and everyone was smiling and friendly. The only small criticism I have is that I prefer my pickles and jalapenos spreadout on my sandwich not all in a clump in the middle. That way each bite has the flavor im looking for without me having to pickup the ones that fell out and put them on the sandwich myself. So I give you four stars for those of you who keep this locationso very well and the one i did not give i took away from the person who put my sandwich together. Sorry, no star for themtonight. I wonder if they received a pizza with the pepperoni only on one side if they would mind. To me it is the sameprinciple. "Whataburger is a Texas stable. 2 Whataburger Jr's, French fries sweet tea was ordered. The vegetables on the burgers were right. The french frits were hot, crispy outside, delicate inside with about a middle salt scatter. The only complaint was to take it for a while; but they are cooked to order, so there is nothing precooked or mounted. Would recommend."

"I have to say that this is the best fast food restaurant in Ennis, Texas. I often stop by when I'm hungry, and I'm hoping they renovate the place to draw in more customers. However, there's one issue that seems to happen about 60% of the time when I visit with my sister. On one occasion, we ordered sweet and spicy burgers along with onion rings and shakes, only to be told that the shake machine was broken. We opted for sweet tea instead, but then we were informed that no shakes could be made until the truck arrived. In the end, we settled for soda drinks instead. While our order was taken accurately, after waiting for 45 minutes, we discovered that they had forgotten to add cheese and sauce to our burgers. To make matters worse, we received fries instead of the onion rings we ordered. My sister contacted corporate to report the issue, but I've noticed similar mistakes occurring since then. I'm thinking about rallying my friends to reach out to corporate as well because the service used to be the best in town until about eight months ago."

"This place used to be very good service wise and was for several years but recently I’ve seen a decline in service, more than likely due to the young staff who don’t care about anyone but themselves. In the last 3 weeks I’ve ordered 3 patty melts and everytime it came with no onions, which makes zero sense since it automatically comes with onions and I never said no onions. On another time I’ve ordered a patty melt and a sweet and spicy but yet again both burgers didn’t come with onions even though that’s how they’re supposed to come. The manager got on the employees so he seems to legit care but at the end of the day they need to realize that if their staff doesn’t care about making orders correct, just fire them bro. "I really don't enjoy visiting this place! I typically order curbside through the app, but every time I do, my food ends up taking an extra 30 minutes to be ready and often isn't hot. Just three days ago, I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my meal, only to find out that they didn’t have a cook available! When I finally received my food, my sausage biscuit was only half put together, and the sausage was undercooked. I called the number in the app to express my dissatisfaction, and while the representative took all my details, she didn’t offer a complimentary substitute meal—she just said she would escalate my issue. I will definitely not be coming back here again."
