"my man and I were very disappointed by our dinner in tavera rustica wilmington. we ordered both the chicken taverna, pieces baked chicken over cappellini pasta with a piccata sauce (white wine, butter, lemon and capern.) the dish was dirty, like cappellini in melted butted. there was no brownish taste of lemons or capern. the espresso soaked ladyfinger in the tiramisu were so tender that the dish falls apart on the dish. we understand that many restaurants have difficulty to hire and keep waiter, but a raised restaurant such as taverna should be able to do better than average. it doesn't. our waiter, charlie, was overworked and undertrained. charlie took our food and drink orders, delivered our brot and a teller bruschetta, reacted (sometimes) to my waving hand or screaming his name, and treated our rest and payment. others delivered our wein (charlie is too young,) delivered our food (without asking if we needed anything else, what we did) and cleared the table. charlie did not ask how we enjoyed our food or whether we needed anything else."
