"Our waitress frequently checked in to see if we needed refills on our iced tea and suggested that next time we share an antipasto so we could sample one of their specials. I thought it was exceptional and attentive for her to share that information, and I truly appreciated it. I will mention that I didn’t find the garlic rolls to be as impressive as the previous reviewer suggested. They were good—served warm, fresh, and plentiful—but they could have used a bit more garlic for my taste. Overall, I would give this restaurant an A-plus and will definitely be back. It's a bit of a strange name; I've passed by many times thinking it was a bakery and never realized it was an Italian restaurant!"

"Halal Fried Chicken is truly the best fried chicken I've ever had! After trying it, you might not want to go back to KFC. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. The fried chicken is coated in a delicious, light batter that makes it perfectly crunchy. They also offer fantastic chicken and waffles and a huge fish sandwich that is just delightful. I'm a big fan of their chicken tenders, which are made with that amazing batter, and their chicken Caesar salad is outstanding. Just a tip: if you're taking it to go, be sure to ask for the dressing on the side, or your salad might end up soggy. I'm so glad they’ve opened up in my neighborhood!"

"Where should I start? Overall food was good and the atmosphere It was very mild. There was about three other customers in there total. The waiter/bus boy was sitting at a table, came up to the hostess stand , where we were waiting to be seated and said “this not my job”. Which was very rude to say when we did sit down a lady from the back came about 10 minutes later, ask us for drinks or did I drink took another 20 minutes to get our drinks. The drink order was wrong did not receive a straw had to wait on straws. The appetizers were very good I must say.. no napkins at the table for us to wipe our hands or mouths with the size of the chicken, was very small missing sauce on one order of wings by this time, waiting on a food and finally getting food. We both were over at the service no one came and checked on us to see how we were doing if we wanted any refills or waters while sitting at the table while eating we had to ask for utensils to eat with we were the first customers again and the last wants to get served. We have asked for a bill twice once receiving the bill it was wrong the questioned us on the fact we didn’t get a drink. it took at least 15 to 20 minutes for them to run the card and us to get the card to back… A guy came in. I want to say he was the hostess, but he smell like marijuana walked in with a fifth of patron, took it to the back, very unprofessional. Since the establishment doesn’t sell liquor at all. Then he got to the hoses. Then proceeded to have a phone call arguing with someone on the phone about how he was at work very unprofessional. The establishment still needs some work to be done with the customer service and be open since 2019 I don’t know how must be carry out keep them above float."

"First of all, when I entered no one was in the restaurant. I had to keep calling for someone to come out and serve me. Then there was no menu to hold. The menu is on a screen that changes frequently so you are unable to see all choices at one time. I asked for a menu and was told that I could use my phone to scan the QR code. I didn't do that. How hard is it for a company to create and laminate a menu???? Why do black restaurants go so cheap? They keep catering to a younger age group and missing out on the demographic that has their homes paid up. On a positive note, the seafood rice was tasty but needed more seafood, and the drink tasted good."

"I ordered a bucket of tips for $44, and it was quite meaty, accompanied by fries and a small mac and cheese. It could use a bit more sauce, but overall, it was delicious! I had leftovers for three days, and I'm looking forward to having them for dinner tomorrow. A mini tip costs around $10, a large is about $19, and an extra large is about $26. They also offer yams, greens, dressing, and, as I mentioned, mac and cheese."

"Took my pregnant daughter out for a nice meal before having to go to the hospital later and I really appreciated everything so much. She had never been there before... and I hadn't been to one in many years. It was a nice moment for me and and daughter to spend one last day together before she became a mom herself. And the food and service was awesome... next time we come, we'll have the latest addition to the tribe with us"

"Breakfast was fantastic, with everything served hot, fresh, and clean. The pancakes were excellent, and the grits were delicious. I haven't tasted grits this good in such a long time; they’re one of my favorite foods. Great job, everyone! My daughter absolutely loved the pancakes, and I had one too—they were amazing!"
