The egg rolls are generously filled and deliciously meaty. The fried rice is moist and has a hearty portion of pork as well. The fried dumplings are flavorful, and the dipping sauce isn’t overly vinegary. This is truly a fantastic example of traditional Long Island Chinese food, just like I remember from the 80s. I can’t wait to try more dishes!"

"It's been better. I've been to Formosa Garden ple try of times. Once upon a time, it was a go to for Asian food. Today, the quality of food was lacking. Three stars for service. Mike was an excellent server and anticipated our every need. I ordered the combination lo mein. It tasted okay, and then maybe not. The shrimp in the lo mein tasted over cooked or precooked. The noodles tasted starchy and heavy on the soy sauce. The broccoli tasted good though : My mom ordered the seafood delight, it came out fine. The shrimp didn't taste so bad, and this dish wasnt half bad for a steamed seafood and vegetables dish. Three stars for Mike. Thanks for the great service."

"I have sadly passed this restaurant hundreds of times. It's tucked in the back of the small shopping plaza at the Northeast corner of Southern Blvd and Military Trl. I can't believe I passed up all this amazing food! I had a Carne asada taco with soft flour tortilla with a side of guacamole and it was amazing. So full of flavor with a savory depth. The guac is so fresh. My mother had the tamale. She gave me a bite... it was the best I have ever tasted. I will definitely be back to try more of the offerings. Oh, there's a full liquor bar too, if you drink."
