"This Greek diner consistently delivers great service in a friendly atmosphere. One notable policy is the inclusion of a 20% gratuity for groups of eight or more, which worked well for us during a larger safety meeting. Our server, busser, and management team handled everything admirably, earning a round of applause from our group! The diner is known for its delicious soups and salads, and the attentive service from both staff and management is always appreciated. Portion sizes for the entrees are generous, and we were pleasantly surprised to find warm bread and plenty of butter on the table. For those interested, lunch and dinner specials are provided on a separate menu, and there’s often a daily prix fixe option. Don’t forget to check the main menu for breakfast specials as well! While the desserts look tempting, they tend to be quite sweet. All salads are served in large portions, and the homemade creamy garlic dressing is particularly tasty. The menu offers many breakfast items and entrees, including pepper beef, sea bass, cod, and chicken fettuccine Alfredo (the lunch portion was enormous!). The chopped steak was juicy, and all the breakfasts we've tried have been delicious. The Julienne salad is both large and flavorful! If you're craving something sweet, the Apple Pancake is a massive dessert, though it could benefit from a bit more apple and compote. Papa Nickolas Coffee is also a delightful choice. The bathrooms were clean but could use some improvement regarding wheelchair accessibility; entry can be challenging without assistance. However, there is a main entry door that is accessible for those who need it. For two dinner specials and beverages, the total came to around $38, plus a cash tip. Overall, a satisfying dining experience!"

"I've come here a handful of times now and have had good food and experience each time. The first time I went, I was warned by several friends who said they had a very strange and awkward experience with the servers, but I haven't experienced that myself. They are perhaps not the friendliest, but I get the feeling that they're going for a minimalistic and zen (maybe too zen level of interaction (i.e. they'll take your order and are helpful if you have questions or need suggestions, and they'll bring you your food, but they're not going to ask you how you are or anything like that). I've enjoyed all the food I've had from here. The Neatloaf (made vegan) was amazingly delicious especially with the mushroom gravy it comes with. There's a reason the Neatloaf Dinner and Neatloaf Sandwich are some of their best sellers. The vegan carne asada (soy-based) tacos were really good as well, and bigger than I expected (you get two). I got the tacos with a cup of dal as part of their lunch special, and the dal was lightly spiced and really good, too. Together, they made for a very filling lunch. Items that are vegan or that can be made vegan are clearly marked on the menu. I only wish it were easier to tell what's gluten-free, though. Only a handful of things are labeled on the menu as gluten-free, but the servers have been able to tell me what's gluten-free and what's not and what can be gluten-free."

"Friend and I came here on Tuesday for lunch at about 11:30. I did notice right away that it was very clean. The menus were clean, too. Not sticky or greasy. Everyone who worked there was really friendly and attentive. It wasn't busy, maybe 2 tables beside us. I didn't think much of it at first. I was really surprised at how expensive it was. I ordered my favorite sandwich, a BLT, which wasn't that pricey at about $14.99. My friend got a patty melt, which I think was $18.99. An omelet was almost $20.00. We didn't order anything other than the BLT and the patty melt, but we talked about the prices, and we figured that's why there was nobody there. So when the food came, the presentation was great, but it was the actual food that impressed me. The BLT was really, really good. They didn't skimp on the ? bacon. They used larger'ish pieces of toast, and the lettuce and tomatoes were so fresh. The tomatoes weren't squishy, and they actually had flavor. There was a serious mound of curly fries. I regret not taking a picture. I'm torn with this review. Yes, it was expensive, but the quality and the large sandwiches that we got were right on. Cooked perfectly, clean crispy lettuce, a very generous amount of thick bacon and tasty firm tomatoes. Big fat patty melt on big fresh bread. I think it was about a half pound. So, in a way, it was worth it, but other menu items seemed too expensive. We had a good time, we enjoyed the employees and our food was delicious. Parking: There are about 25-30 parking spots connected to the building. Kid-friendliness: It's a Golden Nugget, so it's a family type of diner."

"In the old town of Monrovia opposite the theatres lies this small eclectic find is a fantastic taco bar! Come for Happy Hour Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 18:00 and enjoy tacos, nachos and other Spanish dishes at Happy Hour Price. Margaritas with Tajin on the rim come classic, mango, strawberry or pomegranate. All are very refreshing. The Street Tacos are full of taste and only the right amount of food. Lucky The Hour menu also includes a Kobe Slider with Pepper-Jack, Queso and Chorizo. A short-Rib Quesadilla, Ceviche Tostada or a Tempura Shrimp Taco. Are you hungry? How about a Mediterranean chicken dish with avocado, feta cheese, cucumber, calmata olives, brown rice, served with tahini and balsam sauce or enjoy a Blackened Salmon Taco with cut avocado, roasted Chiles, corn salsa, Slav and Crema. Enjoy the bar and music, or eat on the outdoor terrace and people watch foot traffic, or larger parties can enjoy their meal on the back outside the terrace. Service is friendly and you are almost sure to meet a friend. There are parking spaces on the street if you are lucky or park in public parking at Lime Street on the back of the police station. Up and down Myrtle and search in shops. There is a handmade ice store two doors down for a bathroom of cooling before you return to the car. Farmers Market is on Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. if you so wish before or after your visit to Sena. Sena is one of my personal favorites."

"We came to this location because we haven’t in a long time and I was much better off going to IHOP or Denny’s. We came in and ordered our food at 11am. Our food took 40 mins to come out of the kitchen. And we ordered simple breakfast food. Eggs over easy and pancakes. Once we got our food, we had to leave because we had an important event to attend. The waitress was great. She was nice and understanding. Even apologized for the long wait. She brought us to go boxes. But when we got to the register to pay, the lady up front was telling me I still owed 7 dollars on an 83 dollar bill and 91 dollars came out my account sending my account to 0. I showed her my transaction clearly showing the 91 dollars coming out as pending and she proceeded to argue with me telling me that she has no control over the machine and that it was my card and they charge me fees. I’ve had this card for 3 years and I’ve NEVER been charged fees. I transferred 7.75 over to pay what I owe her and the machine drained me again to 0. But I only owed 7.03. I will NOT be going to this location ever again and I live in the area. I was trying to give my businesses business, but NOT this location. I will never use my card again or go back. And if I do go back, it’s cash only. The food was even mediocre at best. Please be aware when paying with debit card. I don’t know if it’s the card machine or the person running it. But I was drained to 0 both times. Do NOT pay with all of your money in that card.. it will take everything and leave with you nothing and you’ll have a bigger issue."
