"The Best Green Chile!. Casa Caliente 's menu has a couple bests in the Denver area... “Tony’s Famous Green Chile” is the best I’ve had anywhere. Unlike the typical cornstarch thickened gravy style green chile elsewhere, Tony’s Famous has a delicious broth with chucks of tender melt-in-the-mouth pork chunks and green chilis--outstanding! Casa Caliente’s Breakfast Burritos are impressive—large selection of fillings (bacon, chorizo, shredded chicken or beef, green chile pork chunks) with eggs, potato cheese. Excellent flavor and value! I doubt even the biggest appetites will tackle 3 for $9.95 in one sitting, but they’re great as leftovers, too. And the bar with a respectable happy hour, reasonable pricing and friendly staff (and really good margaritas) made Casa Caliente a fun, delicious, affordable restaurant to add to our short list."

"This charming little Mexican restaurant serves all the classic dishes you’d expect. They offer a complimentary basket of chips along with a bowl of salsa, which is a nice touch. The drink specials are excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. A wonderful spot for a delicious meal!"

"They followed my cooking temperature request perfectly for the steak, and they actually paid attention to the special instructions I provided. They really went the extra mile to ensure my order was correct and included those a la carte items. I was extremely pleased with their effort. I even placed a secondary order from Dollar General to cover any items I thought the restaurant might forget, but thankfully, they didn’t overlook anything! My only complaint concerns the Guacamole Dip. I’ve ordered it many times before, but this time was disappointing. I ordered a large, expecting it to be like usual, but it turned out to be watery—almost drinkable, like a thin melted milkshake—especially for nearly $11. I had to strain the liquid out before I could even think about eating it, but it remained watery. The portion of Arroz Con Queso was great, though the side of rice was a bit small for the price. The Guacamole Dip was a total letdown, while the salsa with chips was good and the large bag of chips complemented the order nicely."

"My experience at the restaurant could have been better if my order had been correct. However, they did fix the mistake fairly quickly. I requested a booth, and there were plenty available, yet the older Hispanic hostess insisted I sit at the bar since I was alone. Considering it was almost closing time and the restaurant was mostly empty, it seemed unreasonable not to let me have a booth. I'm not someone who enjoys sitting at the bar or drinking, so that was disappointing. To make matters worse, I was charged for a takeout drink that I never received, so I'll have to return the next time they're open to either get it or request a refund. The waitress was friendly and helpful, except for the issue with the soda. Overall, I found the meal to be pricey, especially given the mistakes they made with my order. As for parking, be aware that there are limited spots for such a large restaurant, and it fills up quickly during peak hours."

"Wow, me and my coworker came on our Lunch break for the lunch special (ends at 3PM). I ordered the chicken fajitas, and my coworker got the shrimp and scallop chimichanga especial. We both really really enjoyed our food. It was a great price and a great portion. It also came with chips and salsa which surprised me and made me so happy because I was gonna order some separate. I definitely feel like the chicken fajitas was a great choice if you’re trying to have a balanced healthy meal. It had a healthy portion of sour cream and guac and left me really satisfied but not feeling guilty. My coworker told me to tell everyone he really enjoyed too and was debating going back for more to save for later lol. 10/10 recommend!"

"The place is beautiful we were really bummed out about the experience. For starters it took 20 minutes before the waitress even stopped by, another waitress finally noticed that we had been waiting for a while and went to get her. Next at one point she went on break and didn’t tell us. After we asked another waitress for help and our actual waitress finally came and said that she asked someone else to watch our table while she was out. (No one came though and she could have told us she was going on break . The food also came cold but we were so hungry we sucked it up. Over all I don’t see myself going back. It was an experience but never again. I’m sad that I took my friend from out of town here. She was really disappointed too. Oh well lesson learned."

"I love this new Mexican restaurant in Dawsonville. I have been there several times. The food is excellent and the service is great. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait for the food, but it's not a problem when you're enjoying the day. I love sitting on the terrace. My only complaint is that it can be very loud when sitting inside. I would suggest reducing the noise. Still a great experience overall."

"An authentic mexican place with live music and great variety in the food flavors and the drink menu . However a tad little expensive for the quantity been provided on our plates We got the spicy shrimp with rice and beans along with some sliced jalapeños and the chicken no pales fajita which were delicious. We are also given some fresh chips and salsa which is fresh and tangy . I got a huge bowl of refreshing margarita served in a huge wooden bowl . However the bill came in higher than expected as the no pales was charged extra which wasn’t mentioned to us earlier when we ordered . However, overall this a great place to dine in with friends and family if you are craving some authentic Mexican food . This place could be a little more cleaner too"

"Chips came out warm and were light and crisp with the two dips. The shrimp tacos came in threes and grilled fish tacos in twos were delicious. The fish tacos came with black beans and a small scoop of rice were also delicious. The salmon salad was huge. We all agreed that the salmon had a gamey taste. Service was good. Beautiful decor and ambiance. Price on the high end. Total with tax and tip was almost $100. Free parking at the mall with validation."

"I recently enjoyed a takeout dinner that was fantastic! The pricing is incredibly reasonable, with most meals falling between $1 and $10. The food was delicious and earned a solid 4 out of 5 stars, particularly the chicken burrito, which was packed with flavor. The guacamole was also noteworthy and definitely worth trying. The service was excellent, deserving a full 5 out of 5 rating. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the ordering process smooth. The atmosphere, even for a takeout spot, had a welcoming vibe, earning another 5 out of 5. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a tasty and affordable meal!"

"Absolutely delicious and flavorful food! It was one of the best Mexican meals I had. Unfortunately, the over the top loud music kills the ambiance, and the service is shady, at best. Went for a quick bite on Saturday, the music was very, very overwhelming, you couldn 't even think, let alone have a conversation with your company. Think you going eat at a club laud. Then, when it came to pay, we were automatically charged a gratuity, and there were only 3 of us, so not a large party. The tax was calculated based on the total amount due, including the automatic tip. Since when is this a norm? When we asked the waitress, for an explanation, she couldn 't give us a straight answer. She said, Because it 's Saturday, we add tip automatically. Yeah, not buying it. Bottom line, I might Door Dash it going forward."

"This place is amazing. We’ve been going here since we found out about it in 2019. The employees are sooooo great! They are so polite and friendly. The food is the best with very reasonable prices. We drive from 2 city’s over to get it and pass so many other Mexican restaurants on the way simply because of the amazing people who work there."

"We had a fantastic experience at Frida's, enjoying both the food and the speedy service. This was our second visit; the first time we ordered takeout, and both meals were absolutely delicious. I believe that the quality of the rice and beans in a Mexican restaurant speaks volumes, and they were spot-on here! My partner and I both opted for the combination plates from the back of the menu, which offered phenomenal value. My favorite was the carnitas, while the pork taco was also quite tasty. However, I wasn't a fan of the chicken taco, as it was a bit dry for my taste, but I might not be the best judge since I don't usually enjoy chicken. My partner had a burrito with a unique tomato sauce that seemed unusual at first but turned out to be quite good! He particularly enjoyed the ground beef taco and the black bean enchiladas. We will definitely be returning!"

"I discovered Alfredo's Christmas Day from 2020. I just went to Oceanside and visited my family and we were looking for a solid Mexican food. Our expectations were blown away from the quality of the food, but even more importantly the kindness of the staff. Since then I have to meet Gustavo and come at least one week for Enchiladas, Burritos, Chile Rellenos.... I bless this place literally, but only to see him and Alex. is also a joy. Is there a way to add a top line to the credit card transaction program? I always want to tap, but sometimes forget cash... I want to tap more because they don't expect it!!! Love this place!"

"So, I have to say it's been 10 years since we ate here. And I read they've changed owners. And we just had to go there, right? Cuz it's famous, on South Park! We've got to check this place out while we're in Colorado. So when you go in, there was a turnstile (spelling? , when you get to the register, they have two choices. A plate with a flour tortilla and chicken, etc inside, some rice on the right, beans on the left. The other choice was rice on the left, beans on the right. So we paid and then you grab your cafeteria tray to get your food. By this time, I'm realizing why we had to pay first. I slid my tray across the metal bars and soon came to the serving area. There were about 20 trays under heat lamps. Each and every plate had beans that looked like they had been sitting there for a bit, it was starting to ooze over the side of the plate. The rice was actually stuck to the plate. Got my water, and after the Chimi Nazi stopped yelling at us to hurry up the line, we found a table and, little did we know, we were about to be entertained by the gorilla! Yes siree, the entertainment was nothing other than a diving gorilla. Some little skit played out, couldn't really hear great, but soon the gorilla dives into the water below! I was transfixed. I ate some of the tortilla and some rice, but the best was my water! Our waiter was pretty good, he brought us chips and salsa, and I think I had them make me a drink. Like I said, it looks as though they've been bought out, so hopefully it's somewhat better. But if you find out from a very good source they have not, don't waste your time or your money. Good luck to the SouthPark owners!"
