"This was our first time at this location as we were meeting out of town friends there, but it 's as tasty and clean as the other locations. Also, it was super easy to find. It 's right when you leave the main parking structure and enter the Spectrum near the carousel. Everyone can see it and try it! And this location has lots of outdoor patio seating. As for the food, I tried a salad for the first time as I have always gotten a burger before. The chop chop salad was hearty with tempeh and quinoa in it, but I would have preferred regular ranch dressing to the chipotle version, but that 's just me. Dirk had the Carne Asada (always a good choice) with a side of kale. Their kale really rocks. Our friend thought so too as that was her side as well. We split the nachos and mac 'n cheese and while the nachos are good, the mac is SO amazing. OMG! Our friends had the cajon bayou and chiptole BBQ burgers and finished every last bit of their food along with those awesome sweetheart fries. I really love Veggie Grill for its all-American food and I 'm always happy to see them in such mainstream places. They were definitely busy and I don 't know anyone who doesn 't like them. I know non-veg people who found the chain on their own and not through me. That 's how good it is!"

"I love the veggie grill. I have gone there twice. The first time I ordered there grillin’ chickin’ sandwich that had “grilled chicken”, mashed avocado, lettuce, tomato, red onion, cilantro pesto, chipotle ranch dressing on a wheat roll! I also got some fresh sweat potato fries! And it was absolutely delicious! The next time I got the beyond crispy tacos! It came with three tacos on a crunchy shell with beyond meat, lettuce, pico de gallo, spicy crema and warm tortilla chips! That was super good as well! Out of the two I recommend the grilln’ chickin’! But they were both amazing! Next time I’m going to order one of there salads!"

"After my first visit to this restaurant, I can say that they make good tasting food with quality ingredients. The menu is interesting, the service was adequate and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a fast food joint. All in all, I felt like the foodis a bit overpriced, given the portions provided. Still, I would go there again because they use ingredients that are higherquality and more healthful than the ingredients used by a typical fast food joint."

"The food is super good and my family always comes here. It is a bit of a drive but we always thought it was worth it for their food. We would go at least once a week. The buffalo bomber is amazing and the strawberry lemonade is delicious. As we started to go there we noticed the people were not very welcoming and do not care about their customers. As I said we had gone here a lot and were never greeted as people that had been regulars. I know that feeling special just because you go there a lot may not be so serious that makes this place has two stars. What made me give only two stars was an experience that showed pure disrespect. A man named Jose had given my mom a buffalo bomber with no buffalo sauce. My mom said why does this not have any buffalo sauce. He stared at my mom without saying a word and gave a blank stare. He said let me see your order. He said that we had ordered a buffalo bomber with no buffalo sauce. My mom said the person must have put the order in wrong and he continued to stare at my mom and shrug his shoulders. He took the food back and came back with a new sand which. The sand which was finally made perfect but the fries were small, over fried, and burnt. With my mom already pissed off about the first encounter with Jose said I can’t do this I am getting my money back. My father and brother arrived and some my mom in distress. They said to Jose to stop being disrespectful. He stared at them and started making sarcastic comments while smiling. We understood that this employee must have found our anger funny. He continued to shrug his shoulders and be a straight jerk. When we talked to the manager she had no idea what to do and made several excuses for Jose’s attitude. The manager gave us 30 dollars even though our order was 50 dollars. As I was leaving my mother told me about the money they had not given us so I ran back inside. I went to the manager and said you owe me 20 bucks. She just threw me the 20 not asking about my receipt and did not apologize for the service we had gotten. I then looked over at Jose who was glaring at me. My brother saw this and went inside to tell him to stop. Jose then glared at my brother and rolled his eyes. (If you notice that some reviews say that the service was good that is because it used to be good. Management has changed which has made the employees change)"

"I LOVE The Veggie Grill! It's a great feeling to have a wide selection of healthy whole foods. I don't eat eggs, dairy and gluten and this place satiates my need for deliciofood without compromising my health needs. I love their bowls. I ordered their Immunity bowl with sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, quinoa, greens and mushroom sauce. Delicious! I hope they can bring back their various juice/fresca beverages soon, those were awesome!"

"Sadly disappointed. We make a point of stopping every time we come through PDX on business or pleasure, we live 7 hours away in Brookings. On a mid week visit, stopped and ordered dinner to go. Got to the hotel and realized they had forgotten one of our meals. No big deal, right? We called, explained the situation and were basically told, Sorry- can't do anything for you. Can't refund the price of the meal, can't deliver it to your hotel via our contracted delivery services, you have to walk back for it or wait for a manager to call you PS? No one called us for FOUR days and then said the same thing. Come in for your refund otherwise, F you.Never met a Point of Sale that can't refund a portion of the sale. It's sad to lose a vegan option, but it's sadder to experience McDonalds style customer service in downtown Portland. Good Luck Veggie Grill- you're gonna need it."

"WOW! Veggie Grill was amazing, you guys have won me over! Delicious food and great prices! I had been to Veggie Grill about a year or two ago, and I thought it was decent, but nothing amazing, and didn’t find it remarkable enough to go back again. I had, however, joined there rewards program, which gives you a $5 credit for first time users. In addition, my birthday is this month, and they gave me an additional $5 coupon for my birthday, so I decided to come in and have dinner with my discounts. I was blown away by the food!! I ordered the Santa Fe “Chicken” Sandwich, as well as a side of the Mac-N-Cheese. They both tasted incredible, you definitely can’t tell that they’re vegan! The macaroni in particular was absolutely INCREDIBLE. It’s one of my favorite macaroni’s that I have ever had, PERIOD. So creamy and rich and delicious, with just the right amount of bread crumbs to complement it. They must’ve vastly improved the recipe for it since I was last here! I’m VERY impressed! The dining area is also very clean and has lots of nice booth seating, and the service is friendly, efficient, and quick. On top of everything else, I also found the prices to be very reasonable and affordable for such healthy, tasty food! Few entrees were over $12, and they all come with very generous portions. I’m very happy and impressed, and I’ll be coming much more regularly from now on to eat some healthy, delicious, and affordable food at Veggie Grill!!"

"I was over the moon when I found this healthy restaurant has very light and healthy menu items. It was also affordable. I’ve tried other Mediterranean places and the food here tastes very cleaner and lighter (no heavy oils). The menu is great—chicken, salmon kabobs, steak kabobs, tabouleh, baklava— and many fresh cooked entrees with oversized portions that are between $8-15. So far, the salmon kabob is my favorite (see photo below— this is two meals literally). It came with a vegetable kabob too, rice and any two sides that the customer chooses (see tabouleh). My friends had a lunch special for $8 that came with salad, rice and chicken. People can’t even buy junk food at a drive-through for $8. Also, Zach and Ally are adorable and are doing a great job making new clients feel welcome. My kind of place, I will be frequenting this restaurant very often.?"
