We recommend the place if you are in the area! It was so good, we wanted to repeat the experience back home in NYC soon. Went to Longhorn in Bayonne, NJ, but it was a great disappointment compared to Longhorn Sarasota. Thanks again!"

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"The food, beverages and service were excellent, and our table in the back looked into the garden...too bad it was a little chilly to dine outside. The only drawback was the noise level as there does not appear to be any soft surfaces to reduce the noise. We were seated next to a table of 6 or 7 and they were having lively conversation with lots of laughs. Nice folks but we were not unhappy when they finished. "Early dinner starting at 6pm wasn't busy/crowded at all. Sat outside where there was more tables available outside than I would've expected and spaced well. Great spot for people watching as well as there are so many characters walking by! Servicewas spot on from the get go as our server was extremely friendly having us laugh along with her. Definitely get the burrata and heirloom tomatoes as well asgrandma's meatballs. Tiger prawns were the only meh dish as they were a bit mushy in texture and so so flavor. All pastas weregreat, but the carbonara nailed it with the crispy pork bits. Chicken parm was succulent as was the skirt steak. Tiramisu wasexcellent, but the chocolate cake took the... Well, took the cake. Moist, succulent, right amount of sweetness... We orderedanother to go. Must come back!"

"We had a reservation and arrived 5 minutes early. Had to wait for our table while others after us were seated. Sat us at a table for 4 even though reservation was for 2. Open table asked if it was a special occasion but nothing was mentioned while we were there. Server didn't ask us if we wanted drinks, bread kept being promised and eventually came (ran out). "Service was good. Fireplace was not working when we asked to sit near it. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Food was mixed results. Ribeye was excellent but more rare than medium ordered. Scallops were undercooked and sent back to seared more and came back overdone. Drinks were good. Prices were on the high side but it was not surprising. Location is across from an iHop and next to target and Lowe's so no ambiance there."

"I noted on Open Table that it was my husband 's birthday. The hostess said, Whose birthday is it as we sat down. Other than that, there was no further mention of his birthday. Our server was attentive and our salmon delicious. The server told us about an amazing chocolate cheesecake that was the featured dessert. We ordered that and she soon returned to say that they just sold the last piece. It was only 5:30! The restrooms were filthy and the employees kept slamming the kitchen door into the row of booths where we were sitting. This was jarring."

"We drove two hours for my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We had hoped to sit outdoors and watch the freighters go by. The outdoor patio was closed and that was sad since it was such a lovely day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our server, Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best thing about our dining experience. We won't be going back since the food was just fair and a disappointment. There were several choices but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were chewy, the eggs Benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made with canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband did like the waffles, roast beef, ham and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't that great but we wanted to dine outdoors so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"We ate breakfast daily at the restaurant and drinks nightly at the bar and had a fabulous experience! Delicious food, excellent service at both the restaurant and the bar. We tried the Benedict, omelet, pancakes, burrito for breakfast, all hot and tasty. Our server Ron has worked at the St Regis for 27 years and he was friendly and efficient an excellent employee. Every evening we had cocktails and some dinners at the bar. Again excellent drinks, food and service. The bartender has worked here 31 years. Priced in line with a St Regis, they care about their guests which is RARE today. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the restaurant/bar both need remodeled."

"I recently visited a restaurant and had the half rack of baby back ribs for dinner. The service was fantastic, and I thought the prices were quite reasonable, averaging between $20 and $30 per person. I definitely recommend trying the bone-in ribeye, along with the mashed potatoes and baked potato—both were excellent. There was ample parking available, with the added benefit of a free parking lot. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!"

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"I came to this restaurant with my cousin, who recommended it. I have to say, I was impressed. The restaurant was very clean and had a modern atmosphere. We shared a burger and ribs for our meal. The burger was perfect - juicy and flavorful. I'm not usually a fan of ribs, but these were very good. The meat-to-fat ratio was just right and the fat was well distributed. To top it off, we were treated to a free piece of cheesecake, which was delicious. All of this for under $40 (thanks to a lunch special). Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit."

"My boyfriend and I tend to come to Black and Blue for special occasions this time, it was our anniversary and we had a Groupon (great value! We absolutely LOVE the Thai calamari appetizer. Every entree we have tried has been delicious. New to the menu, I tried the grouper and LOVED it! Very fresh grouper is typically hard to find up north. We also love the chicken entrees and the lobster crusted salmon. For dessert, Nutella creme brulee delish! Small, but fine for after a large meal. The ambiance and service are always pleasant. I have been here for date night, lunch, and brunch. The lunch value is amazing for Huntington. Brunch is also well priced and has a wide variety of options. I have heard excellent things about happy hour (my mom frequents . This place is one of my favorites in Huntington!"

Seated right away, Lobster Grill Cheese, toasting the lobster made it tough and the whole sandwich was bone dry. $37, sent half of it to the bin, wait staff did not question why. Mahi tacos, 2 tacos, horrible soft corn taco shells instead of flour. Apart from being square, there was one piece of Mahi in each that was the size of my middle finger, and at $20 seemed symbolic. If you're looking for a nice view of the canal, and okay with over paying for less than average food prep, this is the place."

"We stopped in for a drink and some food at the bar. A few odd things happened before we were actually turned away. The bar was full when my friend and I arrived, she snagged two seats right when two people left it took a while for the bartender to clear the old glasses and acknowledge us. We were planning to get food as well which took a while to get menus. No one working greeted us. I had a tea in my hand from a local bakery that I was finishing and when the bartender noticed her delivery on not having outside beverages was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional as earlier their were children sitting at the bar taking up seats. I’ve never been turned away at a bar or service because of a cup she could have kindly just threw away. Very weird experience and overall unpleasant enough to not return or recommend."
