"It had been a while since we had visited Longhorn Steakhouse. We used to think it was a bit pricey, but we were pleasantly surprised this time. The prices were fantastic, lower than many other local restaurants. We started with drinks and warm whole grain bread with butter. The firecracker twists were delicious, and the dipping sauce was amazing. For our main course, we shared a 12oz strip steak and street corn. I also had a side salad with pecans, mandarins, and grapes. The dressing was so good, I wanted to bathe in it! Our waitress, who also acted as the host since someone was missing, was fantastic. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a shoutout. My mom had a strong drink, and the total bill was only $60. That's unheard of these days! The cowboy Wild West atmosphere was great, with authentic chaps on the walls and iron cutouts of horses, cows, and broncs. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. I was too busy enjoying the food to remember to take photos of our plates."
