"I’ve given Tacoria a few tries, hoping the experience would improve, but unfortunately, I’ve decided not to return. The food itself isn’t terrible—the ingredients seem decent—but the flavors just don’t come together in a way that makes sense. It feels like a fusion attempt that misses the mark, especially for a restaurant branding itself as Mexican. The dishes lacked the kind of bold, coherent seasoning you’d expect from that cuisine. What ultimately turned me off, though, was the front staff. On three separate visits, I encountered the same off-putting dynamic: cold, almost performative “Z-gen stares” at the register that made me feel unwelcome. It’s hard to describe, but the vibe felt detached and dismissive every time. That energy was enough to push me away for good. Good ideas, but poor execution—and a front-of-house experience that just doesn’t make me want to come back. "My girlfriend and I recently stopped here for dinner after I looked up good vegan spots in Downtown Norfolk. The space was very clean and well organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I've noticed some reviewers saying the prices are a bit high, but this is a locally owned restaurant with locally sourced, organic ingredients (including the meat! and delicious vegan alternatives. The portions were also perfectly sized (we both got the regular burritos and I had to help her finish hers! and priced very reasonably, especially for the quality. All that, and everything came out fast and hot! Tldr: Excellent food, perfect portions, friendly staff, all in a clean restaurant. Who could ask for more?"

"I usually order sopes from this place. But this time the meat flavor was like a old wet rug. I was so disappointed I mean I really don't know if the meat they used was old. Or they buy the really chip one. I have no clue but it was horrible. Please use fresh meat. Charge extra $1 but use fresh meat. For now I will not come back over here. And it's sad. "Thank you so much for your honesty; may God bless everyone who works there. Today, Friday, May 31st, we went to celebrate the end of the school year honors with my kids at Habaneros in Hilliard. As we were leaving, I accidentally forgot my backpack, which contained all my belongings. About six hours later, I realized it was missing and rushed back, feeling desperate and on the verge of tears, fearing the worst. When I arrived, the gentleman at the bar was very kind and attentive. I explained what happened, and he calmly assured me that they had my backpack. I am truly grateful for the sense of security I felt while at Hilliard. Thank you, Habaneros Restaurant!"

"I do not really understand why, over on the west side, some resturaunts were you can dine in, have this big open space but only has like 3 tables to sit at. I do not understand. Just take those three tables out because you can not go with a group (more than 4 to a table) and enjoy a meal there. Might as well call it a fast food div? No they even have more tables avail to sit.But anyway. I typically write 5 stars for foods I really enjoy. The only thing is...I like Taco Burrito King better. "I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for her birthday, and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. She specifically asked for no onions, but they still included them in her dish. She ended up picking them out for about 5-10 minutes. I ordered a burrito and requested less meat and more additional ingredients, but they didn’t follow that request either. My girlfriend asked for mild hot sauce, but when she tried it, it turned out to be too spicy for her to use. Keep in mind, she’s Caucasian American and not accustomed to Mexican spice levels. The food itself was quite bland and lacked the seasoning it needed. The steak in my burrito had an excessive amount of fatty pieces. Honestly, if you're looking for a good burrito, I'd recommend Burrito King instead of this place."

"please for the love of god dont go here. this place made me wait for an hour and a half for my food when it said it would be there in 30. and for the last like 45 minutes it said the delivery driver would be here in 2 minutes and then suddenly it said it was delivered. gave them like 5 more minutes and nothing happened so I called, no answer. called again got an answer from a dude who then proceeded to call the driver while i was still on the phone and i had to listen to their conversation. he then proceeded to tell me the driver would be there in 4 minutes. he spoiler: he was not. they didnt apologize or try to rectify the situation or anything. over ten minutes later he showed up with the food. mind you, all i ordered was enchiladas. thats it. i get the food and say maybe the food will be good but no, it is cold, and solid. it was so bad that my friend who tried it looked at me and put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a remarkably heartfelt "sorry". it was just taco bell sauce on top of tortilla. when I cut open the enchiladas it was so unheated that i could still see the layers of cheese inside where they clearly folded up a slice of cheese and shoved it in. I beg you, go anywhere else yes even taco bell would he better. an hour and a half for unmelted cheese enchiladas with tomato sauce on top for 20 bucks? dont do it."

"I 'M IN SHOCK!!!!On 04/24/2024 I ordered (4) Guacamole tacos for over $16.00 USC. When I received my order, I returned it, stating to the young lady that waited on me, there 's hardly any guacamole on these tacos . The young lady, stated that there was plenty of guacamole on the tacos, because she watched the cook make them. That was not the case.Anyway, the young lady asked me if I wanted my money back. I told her no, I would like to have what I normally order. The young lady handed me the food and stated very rudely, I refunded your money back to your card, NOW, PLEASE DON 'T EVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN ! . "I recently ordered take away Maya Taqueria and had the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.The owner of the restaurant is rude and the staff are disorganized and frankly, liars.Over the phone they told me that it would take 15 20 minutes to get my food. I arrived 20 minutes later and it wasn’t ready they gave me no explanation. After waiting for 10 minutes, I asked about the food. The person behind the counter said they didn’t have enough steak to complete my order, so I’d have to wait.After 10 more minutes, I went back to the counter to get an eta. The owner came out of nowhere and berated me for “harassing his staff”. I explained that I’d been waiting for 40 minutes and he didn’t relent. Instead, he told me that their printer was broken and my ticket was never processed.I mentioned that the person behind the counter had a different story, which she denied. Frustrated I asked for a refund. The owner said he’d issue my refund but didn’t want me to eat their food or come back. I left and found a much better option.My advice is to steer clear of this establishment. I’d be surprised if they are here next year."

"Tofu Tortas: tofu, oaxacan cheese, avocado, Pickled jalapeño, retried beans and guajillo Mayo. I’ve never tried tofu in a Mexican dish before so this was definitely interesting. The tofu was well marinated and I loved the addition of pickled jalapeño. The bread was soft! I think all the flavors were distinct and I really enjoyed my sandwich. This is a fairly new spot in Clinton Hill and I was impressed. I would love to their other vegan/vegetarian items!!"

"If it were possible to give more than a five-star review, I definitely would! I called on Wednesday right at 11:00 AM when they opened and asked if they could prepare a taco bar for 10 people, along with sides, to be delivered by 12:15 PM. I wanted to treat my staff to a nice lunch on a particularly busy day. Initially, they informed me that they couldn't deliver until 1:00 PM, which wouldn’t work for us, so I declined and hung up. About five minutes later, they called back to let me know they could accommodate my order after all. The food arrived at 12 PM, and everything was fantastic! I can't thank you enough for making this wonderful lunch possible for my team!"
