"I ordered sushi from this restaurant through Beyond Menus, and everything seemed fine when I placed my order. However, as soon as I started eating, I realized there was avocado in the roll. Not only was avocado not listed as an ingredient, but I had also specified my allergy when I ordered. When I called to address the problem, the staff member argued with me as if I had requested the avocado.
Eventually, she connected me with her boss, but he struggled to communicate effectively in English, which made the situation even more frustrating. After he got off the line, the same staff member returned and started raising her voice at me. When I pushed back, she hung up.
When I called back to request a refund, she immediately started arguing again, insisting that avocado was included in the listing. I firmly told her it was not, and after several rounds of them refusing to listen, I demanded a full refund and requested to speak to the manager. She claimed she was the manager, despite previously saying that her boss was the one I had spoken to. When I asked if she was the owner, she said yes.
This establishment not only provided incorrect food, but they also lied to me about their policies, stating that I would not be able to order from them again if I received a refund. I strongly advise against ordering from this place. I've attached a picture of the menu, which clearly does not list avocado.
UPDATE: Just now, I received a call from this woman asking me to remove my Yelp review in exchange for my money back. She even suggested that I write a letter. I told her there was no way I would do that before receiving my refund, and I threatened to call a lawyer if these calls continued. She then called me delusional."
