"I definitely recommend Cannella's. There were four of us in our party and we arrived early. The hostess seated us and our server was very attentive and helpful. The bar and wine selection is excellent. My daughter had an Italian soda that she loved. The meal portions are hearty, so feel free to split a meal (especially if you order appetizers). The restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside and they are able to accommodate large parties; we happened to be there on prom night and there were lots of high school students there. I was impressed by how quickly the staff moved these huge parties in and out. Know that you don't have to rush your time at the restaurant; they are happy to have you take your time and enjoy the evening."

"A couple of weeks ago, my group of 12 had a not-so-great experience due to the LOUD music. We struggled to hear each other and could barely hold a conversation. On the positive side, the food and service were exceptional, and we appreciated being able to park nearby for free since it was a Sunday. However, out of the 12 of us, 9 voiced their frustrations about the noise from the live entertainment. We love Austin and enjoy live shows, but the volume really needed to be reduced significantly—it felt like we were at a rock concert! It was overwhelming and made it difficult to enjoy our time together. I found myself constantly apologizing for the loud music. If the volume had been more reasonable, we would certainly consider returning. The food and service were fantastic, it's just unfortunate that the music was set at such an excessive level in such a small space."

"It was my first time at GIA. I was looking for a choice venue to host an elegant bridal shower brunch for my sister. This restaurant and staff did not disappoint. The brunch buffet was amazing! The ambience was charming, with large windows great views. The entire staff is kind, attentive, and the service impeccable! Eric and team made sure we were well fed, cared for and drinks topped off at each turn. Eric stayed in constant communication with me in the planning phase, ensuring dietary restrictions were accommodated and We were allowed in early to tastefully decorate. The staff made us feel welcome from start to finish. Tiara was our server and she spoiled us rotten! If you need a venue for any occasion, look no further. I’ll be back (for two) as this looks to be a great spot for a dinner date as well! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon."

"Pretty terrible experience overall. I can’t comment on the food because we never ordered anything. We ending up leaving because it took someone more than 20 minutes to greet us or offer us some water. Finally we got some lukewarm tap water with some stuff floating in it. Very refreshing. Then about 10 minutes later a server finally came over us and the only thing they said was, “Do you want a drink?”. No hello, no apology for us waiting so long, nothing. Then they didn’t have any of the drinks I wanted, or maybe they did but the server couldn’t locate them on her list so she just tried to give me unrelated options. I don’t know for sure. At that point we realized what kind of an experience we were in for and just left. As a former long time food service employee I was utterly disappointed in this place."

"I have enjoyed previous experiences with Battersby, but was disappointed with my latest experience. I made a reservation more than two months ago for a group of 4 and obviously was looking forward to a special meal. When we arrived, we were shown to a table stuck in the back of the restaurant in a hallway that leads from the kitchen to the garden (not in use at this time , with the table pushed against a wall. The set-up was incredibly cramped (the server could not even reach my seat to serve me . Of our four seats, two faced each other whereas two were seated side-by-side facing the wall. While the service from most of the servers was good, one server dropped silverware on my step-dad (actually hurting him! and didn't even apologize. Overall, while the food is generally good, the service and whole experience was very disappointing. I'm really going to think hard about going back the next time."

"When I think of what makes Olympia, Olympia, it's places like the Blue Heron Bakery that specialize in vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options along with your standard ham and egg type offerings. They also have a full coffee bar with a nice variety of syrup flavors. I got the Mediterranean scramble and it was good. My partner got the tempeh cheese steak, which was also good. Next time I might try their quiche. It's very casual decor wise with exposed storage shelving intermingled with tables. Gives a hippie artist vibe. There's outdoor seating options for nice days. It was about 15-20 to get hot food made, but there were also items that were just ready made to go. Staff were business like. It took a while to be acknowledged, but we weren't in a hurry. Parking was available. I'd bring kids here, especially if you have a vegetarian. "We were disappointed with our experience at the restaurant. There was only one server on duty, and when we informed them we had theatre tickets for a 7:30 show, our food still didn’t arrive until 7:10, and it wasn’t hot. We arrived at 6, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the service was extremely slow. Even our drinks took a long time to be served. Additionally, although we were told that parking would be free if we dined at the restaurant and attended the theatre, we were still charged $15 for parking, which was frustrating since the theatre is owned by the same company and is just around the corner. We ended up being 5 minutes late to the show and spent over $400 for our party of seven. Overall, we won’t be returning to this restaurant."

"This restaurant was an excellent choice for dinner, especially for someone with a milk allergy. The vegan menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything I tried was delicious. I often order strawberry lemonade, and I can honestly say this is the best I've ever had—made with fresh, real ingredients. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. If you're looking for a fresh and leisurely dining experience, this is the place to go! I highly recommend it, and be sure to indulge in dessert—trust me, you won’t regret it!"

"As someone who purchases and supports the Veritas Winery, I found our visit for dinner disappointing. The promised Veritas sparkling wine when we arrived was actually a wine from Barcelona. The first course of lentil soup was good, but the second and third courses of short rib and then duck were like having two entrees. Not a vegetable in sight during the entire meal. The dessert was rather amorphous. The wines paired with the meal were good but we learned nothing about them but their names--no description, no reason why they were paired with the food being served. The tables were pretty and had candles, but they were not lit until we requested it during the third course--it was obviously overlooked. We particularly enjoyed the cabernet franc and wanted to buy a bottle, but they had none on hand to sell. They offered a merlot instead, then suggested we return the next day if we really wanted the cabernet franc. We did return-and the place was so overrun, we would have waited almost half an hour to buy just one bottle of wine. Extremely poor planning at dinner and for the visit. All in all, I can't recommend a visit, despite some good food and wines and a lovely ambience."
