"A couple of weeks ago, my group of 12 had a not-so-great experience due to the LOUD music. We struggled to hear each other and could barely hold a conversation. On the positive side, the food and service were exceptional, and we appreciated being able to park nearby for free since it was a Sunday. However, out of the 12 of us, 9 voiced their frustrations about the noise from the live entertainment. We love Austin and enjoy live shows, but the volume really needed to be reduced significantly—it felt like we were at a rock concert! It was overwhelming and made it difficult to enjoy our time together. I found myself constantly apologizing for the loud music. If the volume had been more reasonable, we would certainly consider returning. The food and service were fantastic, it's just unfortunate that the music was set at such an excessive level in such a small space."

This restaurant is great for large groups, but we had a disappointing experience with our service. Our server mixed up our orders, and some of the food we ordered was missing, yet we were still charged for it.

Not the typical service you would expect for a large party. It was fine overall but food and drinks took a long time. We had to send back the chicken sandwich twice for being undercooked. You could tell it was a new restaurant trying to sort out some kinks.

This is a very good venue for a large get together. They take reservations for 20-30 people and was excellent food and service. It was so much fun and food was so good that we went back on Saturday with even more people. Highly recommend and this will be a regular spot for us. View menu

We came here for Mother's Day brunch with 14 people and it couldn't have worked out more perfectly. Our group was able to order from the counter as they arrived (ensuring we could split checks easier), the food was AMAZING and the vibe was great. We'll return any time we have a larger group, or even small.

I organized a breakfast meeting for about 15 women, and I must say the management and staff were incredibly accommodating. They easily rearranged tables, turned down the music, and created a welcoming atmosphere for us. I also really enjoyed the coffee and the food. We truly appreciated the excellent service!

Food seriously missed the mark. Very plain and flavorless. Orders got confused, waitresses were rude. We asked to close the sliding door multiple times because everyone in our group was cold. The staff continuously opened it and didn’t respect the request. It was overall not a fun or tasty experience- especially for what we paid. View menu

Had a great brunch and restaurant experience. It was nice to use a tabletop bbq where the smoke was sucked out through the perimeter of the bbq, unlike some table bbq places we’ve been. We had shishito peppers, edamame, kalbi beef, beef tongue, duck, calamari and pork belly. Everything was delicious, no complaints. We will definitely be back.

We were a work group, of about 15 people, for a dinner gathering. Among us, we tried a big sampling of the menu, and everything was delicious. Prices are low for quality food that is interesting. Eg the Kitchen Sink is a full meal, delicious, for $13, plus small add on for smoked meat or fish. Similar for tacos. The chili relleno plate was wonderful. Plus they offer a huge selection of drinks, including many beers on tap, $5 for a big glass. good prices even with the 20% pooled tip system, which I personally like. The staff work as a team and all seem happy together, and efficient. Very spacious, with indoor and outdoor seating. Informal atmosphere, you order at the counter or QR code.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
