"If you’re a fan of seafood pasta, I highly recommend trying their two amazing dishes: Frutti Di Mare and Tagliolini with fresh blue crab. Both were outstanding and the portion sizes were generous—I could have shared with my husband, but I didn’t want to, haha! While I was dining, I was already thinking about making my next reservation, but the earliest I could find on a weekend was months away. Thankfully, our waiter suggested I speak with the hostess, and I’m so glad I did. She managed to secure a reservation for next month—yay! I also loved the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. For parking, there’s a paid lot right across from the restaurant (I paid $16 for 2 hours), and there’s also valet service available at the corner of Colorado and 3rd Street. All in all, Red Ash is easily one of my top 5 restaurants in the Austin area, and I can’t wait for my next visit in a few weeks!"

"Everything on the menu sounded amazing so it was tough to choose. Our server was wonderful and service overall was great. Our cocktails were PERFECT. We LOVED the french onion soup and wedge salad. We probably could have just had these and another app because we got full so fast. My husband got the NY Strip which as good buy not $90 good. It was a hair overcooked. My seafood risotto was a little too lemony but made for delicious leftovers. The truffle bucatini was REALLY good. I'd definitely come back again for happy hour for all the drinks and apps."

"We first came across Snooze in Denver and were pleasantly surprised to see one here. Menu remains the same and so does the great breakfasts. Choice was our problem. We eventually went for corn beef hash.. the huge taco.. egg biscuit and a plate of pancakes for the table.. Just amazing the whole thing .. Server was terrific too .. As far as breakfast goes .. think Snooze takes all the beating .. Awesome way to start the day ! Comes highly recommended.. Enjoy !"

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."

"I've had the opportunity to try Nissi VegMex twice this week because of their soft opening! Grand opening is tomorrow 4/30! The first time I visited, I had the taco plate with pastor and carne asada. It was really delicious and was accompanied with riceand beans. Although the tacos were really flavorful, the provided salsa is the punch the tacos need. There are three salsas,red, orange, and green. I really liked all three, but the spiciness of the orange was my favorite! ???? it's almost like thatyellow bird habenero salsa. The green is also really good, but doesn't have the heat on it. Although the tacos were reallygood, the burrito was so freaking delicious! ???? I had the steak burrito which had rice and beans inside. It was really tasty! Loved it and can't wait to go back! Birria tacos ???? and burrito ???? pictured below! All packaging was compostable!"

"This restaurant is fantastic! The food is delicious, we had the mixed shawarma and gyro platter and they were both very satisfying! The meal comes with a side of pita bread. The hummus tastes homemade and is absolutely delicious. Don't forget to order some baklava for dessert. The owner is lovely and truly cares about serving high quality food and providing excellent service. This place is a true gem in East Austin."

"We had the most wonderful dinner with friends. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were top notch and as always, we had impeccable service. We always do! We have been coming to this restaurant for years (back when it was Trio) and always love having El as our waiter. He is absolutely phenomenal. Joe, the sommelier always makes sure we are taken care of as well. The whole team there is amazing! My husband had the rack of lamb which was cooked as requested: medium rare, as it should be! The whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts were a great size for 4 adults to share. Mind you, 4 adults who also had a couple of amazing appetizers as well. We got the house rolls and empanadas. Yummy! The house rolls are served warm with sides of butter and honey. Can’t go wrong with anything you order, it is always cooked to perfection. Others have said this place is overpriced but honestly it is The Four Seasons in downtown Austin, of course it is going to be pricey."

"The dining experience at Lonesome Dove was fantastic. The food was great, but the service was better. Our server, George, was very attentive and gave great recommendations. He did an amazing job explaining the menu. Matt, the GM, personally checked in with us to make sure everything was living up to the high standard that they set for themselves, both in menu and service. The menu was outstanding as well. It was great to have a variety of wild game options (cannot recommend the elk sliders and elk loin more! . In addition to their dinner menu, they also have very good cocktail/wine menus. The Willie is a delicious signature cocktail that has a unique presentation. Lonesome Dove is such a great place for a nice dinner that isn’t over the top expensive. Great staff, great food, can’t wait to go back. 10/10"

"Ebisu is a great sushi restuarant that needs to find itself. The menu is over the top huge (which usually scares me)but the sushi/sashimi selection was excellent. The service was slow to start but once our waitress was engaged, she was right on. The atmosphere was quite and clean. We tried a variety of sashimi and nigiri, all of which was fresh and delicious. Our favorites were the o toro, salmon belly, hamachi belly, and monk fish liver a rare find!. If you're a sushi/sashimi purist, then you'll appreciate this place."

"Not sure how this gem hadn't crossed my radar sooner. Exceptional service and excellent food. The wine list was also a standout in both variety and value. The lobster ravioli was faultless at first I was thrown off by what I thought was a strange pairing of flavors with the orange liqueur but it worked perfectly. Arancini and burrata were good, though some focaccia alongside it would have set the pair off. Tiramisu, also dang good. Looking forward to returning."

"Perfect place for a chic casual American brunch if you?re looking to drop a dime for ambiance and taste. Reason for not 5* is the slowness of getting our food. Pro tips? 1. Sticky bun is very satisfying. 2. Their produce is on point. 3. To get to the restaurant, go into the Kimpton hotel, turn immediately left, and you?ll see an elevator to get to the restaurant. 4. Mimosas were boozy but balanced. 5. Sunday brunch had live jazz music and the music was actually good."

"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"The chefs clearly enjoy experimenting and are fearless with their culinary creations, which is something I wholeheartedly support and encourage them to continue doing! The food was exceptional from start to finish; I even relished the mushroom bowl, despite not usually being a fan of mushrooms. The pork dish was fantastic, and the lamb meatballs were delicious as well. My only small critique was that the lamb could have used a specific glaze to really elevate the dish. As for the drinks, they were fun selections, and our favorite was the mule! The Pina Colada was a bit too strong for our taste, but the ginger in the mule provided a perfect balance to complement our meals. Overall, I highly recommend this place!"

"The Grove is always a popular place to go! Being out for the first time, and it was a great experience! Our waiter, William, was only AWESOME! Thoughtful, attentive, just a great server! "My family and I have been dining at Haru Sushi (now known as IchiUmi Sushi) for the past three years. We first discovered this restaurant when the pandemic began and we were craving fresh, high-quality sushi to enjoy at home. Haru offered delicious fish and sides at reasonable prices, with generous portions that satisfied our appetites. The bento boxes came with cute little sides that fulfilled our warm, crunchy, and pickle cravings. The balance of flavors was exceptional, leaving us full and satisfied. The sashimi and sushi platters were always a hit, accompanied by a variety of wonderful side dishes that provided a nice break from the fish. Some of our favorite sides included the brussel sprouts and shrimp udon salad, which were so delicious that we sometimes order them even when dining at a sushi restaurant. Despite the restaurant changing names multiple times, the prices have consistently been fair for the amount and quality of food you receive. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or a casual lunch, as the food is perfect for a picnic. The only downside we have experienced is the inconsistent service during dine-in visits, with one waitress being very nice while another waiter was rude."

"My first visit and Brunch today was AMAZING? I am glad I looked at the menu before I arrived because with all of the great offerings I may have taken a long time to make a choice? First let me say, EVERYTHING I read about the starter croissant and strawberry butter is true- DELISH! Now, I decided on the Polenta Benedict and boy I am glad I did! I am a foodie and enjoy trying new things, and this dish hit all the right notes. I was able to substitute the sausage, since It came with bacon, for the country potatoes, perfect choice! I also added the Pomegranate Lemon Mimosa, and it was ?strong? like a brunch drink should be, lol. The waitress Joi, I think, was from Midland and was super sweet! She recommends I come back for dinner, and after the amazing brunch, I will absolutely take her up on that offer? #iwillbeback"

"Haha, these guys were fantastic! I had an early dinner with my family during a convention while we were staying at the Hampton Inn across the street. It was late in the evening, and I kept craving Maiko's sushi. Eventually, I decided to swing by and grab some sushi for myself and one of my kids. I sat at the bar and struck up a conversation with the bartender, Oscar (autocorrect tried to mess up his name twice!). Just before my food arrived, the manager was chatting with Oscar, turned to me, and said, “this is the most composed person in here.” It had both Oscar and another staff member laughing. I was thoroughly entertained while waiting for my food and even ordered a shot of rum before it arrived. The sushi was excellent, and we were really pleased with the experience!"

Everything was great, but we noticed that all the staff we interacted with were dry and unfriendly. From the hostess to our waiter, we couldn 't understand what it was.
