"Everything on the menu sounded amazing so it was tough to choose. Our server was wonderful and service overall was great. Our cocktails were PERFECT. We LOVED the french onion soup and wedge salad. We probably could have just had these and another app because we got full so fast. My husband got the NY Strip which as good buy not $90 good. It was a hair overcooked. My seafood risotto was a little too lemony but made for delicious leftovers. The truffle bucatini was REALLY good. I'd definitely come back again for happy hour for all the drinks and apps."

Excellent from start to finish. Kaylen our server was so fantastic and knowledgeable about everything. Just a great New Year’s Eve experience.

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is delicious. However, the prices are quite high for what you receive, particularly when it comes to the pasta.

This place was everything. The food and the service were perfect. The music playing wasn’t too loud but loud enough AND whoever made that play list lol it was FIRE. But back to the food, that steak was cooked to perfection. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had.

Upon entering the restaurant, I felt concerned as it was nearly empty. The server was friendly, but not particularly attentive. I ordered a Caesar salad with light dressing, but to my surprise, there was an excessive amount of dressing on it. I also ordered the New York steak, which was delicious and cooked perfectly. However, the mashed potatoes were a disappointment—they were more like a soupy consistency, thin and mushy.

We had a great meal last night at Dean’s. I have been to all the top steakhouses in Austin, and Dean’s is a level above the rest. Ciara was an attentive and thoughtful server and never left us waiting. We enjoyed the spicy tune tartare, oysters, bread and butter, burrata, Texas wagyu steak (14 oz) with lobster butter, scallops, and truffled bucatini pasta. They made us table-side carajillo’s for after dinner drinks as well. We will be back. View menu

The ambiance and service were excellent. The fresh bread was outstanding, and the oysters and lobster bisque were both very good. The Caesar salad was enjoyable as well. However, I was expecting a better cut of steak. The rib-eye that arrived didn't look promising; it was a bit thin and quite fatty. The flavor was not particularly memorable and leaned towards the salty side. While it was a decent steak, I had hoped for something much better.

My wife and I have had diners here twice, one for my birthday, the other for new year 2024. We had extraordinary dinning experiences. Its foods, services, atmosphere are all outstanding and worth its current 4.9 review score. We had ordered crab cake, lobster soup, Italian salad, wagyu, cold water lobsters, among them the cold water lobster and Italian salad were my favorites. The desert tiramisu tasted great too which was given us for free at my birthday dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant and come back next time for sure.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
