"That was the worst experience I ever had in the Nebelo de chao. My family from town loves to eat here when they're out of town. We eat here about 5 times a year and eat either at Atlanta or Dunwoody. That was the worst service and the experience we've ever had. We had a 1:00 reservation for a group of 5, we arrived at 12:45 and were asked to sit in the waiting area at the bar. We sat at 12:55, but had to wait for more than 10 minutes until a server was available, the man who went to the table tried to make conversations, but it was an unpleasant more than 10 minutes for everyone while waiting on our server. Once we sat fine beverages and helped to get to the market table and which were not refilled several things were empty for most of our meals and not refilled. 4/5 of the people in our group got the meat experience and left their cards to the green. The server brought water, but did not bring any additional drinks that we ordered wine and sweet tea until we had already finished a few dishes. Sitting down within 20 minutes, no meat had passed. We had to ask several times to bring meat. There were several servers that would come with fresh meat, serve two people at a table and then run back into the kitchen. We asked our server several times for certain meat cuts, and they never came. There was literally nothing more we could do than ask our server and the meat never comes. We were made friendly and they came by and freed our dirty plates, we waited for a certain cut of meat crucible and the grilled cheese we told the server, but they never brought new plates and meat and cheese. We won't be back soon."

"we saw the show for the small plates and drinks for $35.00 per 2 hours. what we did not know, they will get a ticket for 2 drinks per maximum. we didn't have a problem with it, because the 2 drinks we received at $28.00 the food they offered was the problem. No, we knew we didn't come for the meat or the buffet, but we didn't expect us to get a lot of brot and no meat. we also had kartoffels, avocado toast, cold paprika with mais top, fried bananas, some kartoffels that melted like pommes. when we arrived, they bought us a charcuterie board and some chicken sleds with some very dry bun and rolls that we threw away, which was much too much for the small pieces dry bun. we had a couple of workers who made the meat stop for some small bite of speck wrapped steak and a piece of pork, but we later found out that we didn't accept to get it when one of the workers pointed out that a person who tried to give us a piece huh on a spit, but he had already given me a piece and gave me no and explained that he could not serve us. I say all that to say, little bites did not mean absolutely no meat for us. You could have limited us to 3-5 pieces. that may be good for some people, but we wouldn't do that again. I wanted to leave a detailed review, because this is our first time that this Bar Beco event was tried out and we did not get many information from everyone online."

"Now, onto the experience: I anticipated the usual, “Have you dined with us before?” from my waiter, but instead, I was immediately asked about my drink order. That was fine, but I thought an explanation of the dining process would follow after our drinks were served. Once we got our drinks and our toasting glasses, we found ourselves baffled as meat skewers began circulating around our table while my husband and I were left sitting there, unsure of what to do. I didn’t expect to have to ask for instructions in a restaurant like Fogo de Chão. We didn’t see our waiter often, and I even had to call the hostess to bring him over just to get our check. I understand it was a busy New Year's celebration, and the staff was likely caught up with other tables, but I could count on one hand the number of times the waiter approached us without prompting. When he finally returned to our table, he simply asked, “Last call, what do y’all want?” That phrase was so off-putting that at that point we only wanted the check. Additionally, we were seated at a table right near the kitchen, which created a very cramped atmosphere. My husband was bumped into by staff and other diners throughout the evening. I was surprised to discover that there were empty tables just around the corner when I went to use the restroom at the start of our reservation."
