"Frank's is a slightly upscale restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere that fits in well with the Pawleys Island community. The drinks are expertly crafted and the menu offers a variety of delicious options to suit any mood or preference. The filet was cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. The lamb chops were also cooked to perfection. The beef short rib was tasty and satisfying, and the jumbo lump crab cake was the best I've had outside of Maryland. We all enjoyed the coastal fried oyster appetizer. To finish off our meal, we shared a large slice of 14-layer caramel cake with caramel drizzle and vanilla ice cream."

"Service was terrible, server didn’t know anything about the food. She was nice enough, but far from knowledgeable. Another employee kept wanting to clear our plates, so we finally handed them to her with mouths full of food and forks in our hands. That was a bit annoying. Wine list is way overrated and WAY overpriced. It definitely seems like a “wannabe” restaurant. Everything is totally overrated. Food was actually good, but that was the only positive about our experience. Server said they didn’t have potatoes, but somehow my scallops came out with potatoes on the plate. Confused me even more. Glad I didn’t pay the for the venison that I really wanted to try. I would have ordered it if our server knew how it was prepared and what it came with. Everything about this place other than how the food tasted, was annoying and a complete letdown"

"Italian food is another one of my favorites. Whenever I’m in the area I at least stop by for a slice of pizza. Their pizza is really delicious along with their pasta. Be careful when the pizza comes out of the oven as it is extremely hot. Most time I ask them not to make it so hot because I can’t wait to eat it. There is a seating area to consume your food. There is also seating for indoor dining. The service is fast and again the food is delicious. The staff are professional and friendly. There is a bar located downstairs where they play music, nice vibe to the place. The restaurant accepts cash and card for payment. They even deliver. There are restrooms located upstairs and downstairs. Give this place a try I’m sure you’ll like it."

"Let me tell you how i found this gem. We went to Bua, very famous thai place just beside this restaurant and had very bad appetizers and decided to leave. I left a review to theirs if you wondered what happend. It was raining, saw this place just beside so walked in. Pros: Very clean. Service was quick. Food was A Dude seriously me and my friend finished our plates with no discussions. Cons: Drinks can be improved. We called the food “ amma chethi vanta” in our language Telugu, which is Mom’s home food. It was that good and gave home feels. Atmosphere gavd moroccan vibes."

"Heard such great things about this restaurant so my bf booked it for our anniversary, little did I know that I would be leaving the restaurant engaged. They coordinated with him and had everything booked and planned even for the piano player to play andsing the sing Will you marry me? The staff were absolutelyamazing ????, kind, loving, friendly, they helped to make the perfect night that I will never ever forget. It seems like this place caters to expensive food for those who aren't knowledgeable about Japanese or Peruvian cuisine. Additionally, there was a 20% gratuity added to the bill without being informed beforehand, which was frustrating. Overall, the experience was mediocre for the high price of $650. I could have had a better meal at a lower-priced sushi spot. The ambiance was the only positive aspect of the dining experience."

"The surprise cover fee at $5 per person at the door even with a reservation was unexpected, and set the mood. Also, the cover is cash only, and can’t be applied to your bill. Cocktails were ho hum , the chocolate truffles were bitter , the cheesecake was bad. "We decided to enjoy a meal outdoors and chose to sit in the courtyard. To our dismay, two gentlemen were discreetly smoking cigars, which unfortunately tainted the ambiance as the smell pervaded the entire patio. None of the PC staff would speak to the gentlemen in an area where smoking was prohibited. As for the service, it left much to be desired. Our server seemed disinterested and appeared bothered when we asked questions about the menu. A simple gesture of a smile can often make a significant difference in a dining experience, but that too was missing throughout our meal. We had requested lemons, but our server failed to return with them. It was up to me to head to the bar and fetch them myself. In summary, while the setting could have been perfect for a delightful luncheon, the presence of cigar smoke and the lackluster service marred our experience. "Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"I had driven by here several times and wanted to come, but had not gotten the chance to and my sister surprised me with late dinner here. Let me tell you, the place is clean, the menu is simple, the food is delicious the dessert is incredible. I was not a fan of the enchiladas but for the rest of our order, I am a fan of them. "The venue and staff at O'Toole's were absolutely amazing. We booked the back room for our COVID micro-wedding in November 2021, and it exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful with equipment, decorations, space, and the food was fantastic. I was initially unsure about having our wedding at a bar, but we needed a small location for our intimate gathering. O'Toole's event manager and staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect, despite the challenges of COVID. "I made reservations and was seated promptly. I ordered the chicken and waffles as an appetizer and the Thai chicken skewers. The waffles were tasty, but I was surprised to find that the chicken was more like small bites than strips. Unfortunately, the chicken had no flavor at all. Perhaps some bacon maple syrup could have helped, but overall it was not very appetizing. My mom ordered the ribs and found them to be stringy, although she had no complaints about the taste. She is quite picky, so I only trust her opinion when she really enjoys something. I decided on the lamb chops, and I was very pleased with them. However, the mashed potatoes seemed a bit off, as I prefer them completely smooth without any lumps. The green beans lacked flavor and seasoning, so I would suggest taking them home and seasoning them to your liking. My daughter ordered the scallops but found them to be overcooked. She should have sent them back, but she ended up swapping with her husband, who had ordered a seafood dish. Overall, I may consider returning, but I am not completely sure. Our waitress was excellent and checked on us regularly. The menu states that a 15% gratuity will be added to bills over $150, but we were charged 20%, so they might want to update their menus."

"The restaraunt is beautiful and clean. We had a large party of 13 people with an automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill. One server was assigned to our table and unfortunately was either too busy, inexperienced or just not attentive enough for this large of a group. We waited for drink refills longer than we should have and then had to ask for refills. Three people waited an additional seven minutes for their food after everyone else had received theirs. One person had salmon and after finding five bones in the salmon, reported it to the server who offered to have it remade and replaced. At that point, the person really didn't want a replacement. Given the price of the food, that meal should have been removed from the bill. With that exception, the food was excellent. However, the service we received was not representative of the 20% gratuity added, which totaled approximately 150.00. I believe in tipping well after being provided with excellent service, but sadly, we did not receive excellent service as was expected with the type of establishment they are projecting."

"I had a very good experience here for my very first time. I ordered a salmon sandwich and had french fries. I was very pleased with the fact that they fulfilled my order as I requested. The salmon sandwich is technically supposed to be served cold. However, I requested that they heat the salmon and they did. The restrooms were clean and the server was nice. I don 't really have a lot to say about the experience except that it was a good time. It 's definitely a feel good restaurant. Hence my giving them four stars as opposed to five."
