"Brooklyn Bowl Nashville This is a much belated review of the Brooklyn Bowl. I need to convey how absolutely terrific my experience with this venue was. My wife and I came from Florida to Nashville to see my all time favorite band from Japan, BAND MAID. 5 extraordinary, talented lady musicians on their 10 year anniversary tour. We decided to check the venue out a few days ahead of the concert. The staff on hand that day were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. From the security folks to the ticket concert organizers to the floor manager, Noah, and the restaurant staff. Everyone took time from their tasks to show us the venue, answer questions, and they seemed interested in the band as well. We ate there and had a wonderful evening. On the day of the concert, I witnessed staff make special accommodations for one person in line who has autism and couldn’t wear arm bracelets. I watched them bring out water to a lady in line who was suffering from a reaction to her medication in the heat. The concert line and promotional items were handled very efficiently. Noah gave my wife and I extra special treatment for which I will be forever grateful. I felt like a VIP watching my favorite band that night. I will never forget the awesome experience and treatment! It was also wonderful that they let the members of BAND MAID roll some bowling balls during their intermission. The ladies of the band commented about this as a special moment on their US tour. How cool is that? Good food. Strong drinks (I’m not usually one to drink, but the mood was right and the drinks were good! Brooklyn Bowl has special people working there. A unique atmosphere with bowling and a balcony overlooking a minor league baseball park. I give them 5 stars and my thanks."

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"

"So. I went to this restaurant on a Wednesday at the recommendation of a local patron who also accompanied me and assured me from his past experiences that this was a fantastic food experience/establishment. To start of I will say the owner who greeted us was very nice and accommodating as well as most of the staff. However the food left something to be heavily desired. I started with the tomato caprese salad. The tomato was not yet ripe at all to be served also the amount of oil that was on this plate pretty much was drowning the mozzarella and tomato. I ordered the mushroom ravioli for my mains ,and this was where things completely ruined the whole dinner. The whole dish was sweet. I have had mushroom ravioli at other establishments ,and one thing I can conclude is that nothing about that dish should be that sweet. I mean form the sauce to the balsamic to the mushroom. The whole dish was sweet and not savory at all. It blew my mind that pasta could taste that sweet. I couldn 't stand to eat anymore then a few bites, and my companion who is a regular patron of this establishment had the rest of pasta ,and even he concluded this was the worst dish that he has had from here. I tired giving them one more chance with the dessert ,and had the best north of Miami key lime pie. The pie was actually fairly decent. The filling could have been more firm and the pie crust as well, however that can be overlooked understandably as I am presuming the desserts are not made on a daily basis. Here is where this bad dinner went to go on and become a horrible night and following day. Not even 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant I began sweating profusely ,and requested for the car to be pulled over. I immediately threw up for the next 5 minutes. I dropped of my friend back to his place and went on to my hour drive back home. As soon as I got back home I threw up once again in my driveway. That night my stomach and bowels were so messed up I managed only 3 hours of sleep. Will not be coming back ever."

"Best food Stellar Customer Service Harvey 's BBQ kitchen 13920 SW 139th CT Miami FL 33186 We drove 4 hours to Homestead Florida for a family reunion on Sunday July 3, 2022. I was tasked to find a local caterer not knowing the area I just checked reviews on the web 2 days prior. The best decision I ever made was choosing Harvey 's barbecue kitchen. The manager Natalie Alexander replied promptly to my request for this large last-minute catering for 54 people. Professional and courteous, she guided me through the application process in a way that made me feel comfortable. I had one hiccup with the delivery location, which, let me tell you was not even an issue because the delivery person Carla went above and beyond to make sure that I had our order on time and still hot. She even let me HAVE THE THERMAL delivery bag to keep my food exceptionally hot while we journeyed the additional 1 hour to the venue. Carla was amazing and so kind. She provided last minute instructions for the food and was gone. My family 's response Best food ever . This was real chicken like your mama made on the barbecue in the backyard. Soooo .. good ! The chicken was succulent, the sauce was flavorful, the coleslaw was light and refreshing. Do yourself a favor! Don 't hesitate to call Harvey 's BBQ kitchen for your catering, if you are ever in the Miami or Homestead Florida area. We enjoyed every single bite. It was truly delicious.
