"I've often thought that if we ever face alien invaders, our best chance of defeating them would be to exploit their potential lactose intolerance. Imagine offering them cheesecake as a peace gesture to undermine their plans for world domination! Cheesecakes by Alex would definitely be a strong contender for this strategy. I visited on a Saturday evening and indulged in their Chocolate Swirl cheesecake along with a freshly made medium cappuccino. Both treats were absolutely delightful. The cheesecake had a wonderfully creamy and light texture, making me feel like I could easily try another flavor from their enticing showcase—like Pumpkin, White Chocolate Raspberry, or Dark Chocolate. They also offered a variety of cakes, scones, cookies, and cupcakes, and I was particularly intrigued by the blue velvet cake. Ultimately, I chose the banana pudding cake, which I regret not photographing, but it was incredibly delicious—truly amazing! My final assessment is a solid 5 stars. Leaving the café, I was left with a strong impression of homemade goodness. Everything I tried, from the cake to the cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies, had that comforting, homemade taste and feel that makes me eager to return. The coffee was excellent as well."
