"I've often thought that if we ever face alien invaders, our best chance of defeating them would be to exploit their potential lactose intolerance. Imagine offering them cheesecake as a peace gesture to undermine their plans for world domination! Cheesecakes by Alex would definitely be a strong contender for this strategy. I visited on a Saturday evening and indulged in their Chocolate Swirl cheesecake along with a freshly made medium cappuccino. Both treats were absolutely delightful. The cheesecake had a wonderfully creamy and light texture, making me feel like I could easily try another flavor from their enticing showcase—like Pumpkin, White Chocolate Raspberry, or Dark Chocolate. They also offered a variety of cakes, scones, cookies, and cupcakes, and I was particularly intrigued by the blue velvet cake. Ultimately, I chose the banana pudding cake, which I regret not photographing, but it was incredibly delicious—truly amazing! My final assessment is a solid 5 stars. Leaving the café, I was left with a strong impression of homemade goodness. Everything I tried, from the cake to the cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies, had that comforting, homemade taste and feel that makes me eager to return. The coffee was excellent as well."

They offer an excellent cheesecake along with a wide variety of cookies and cakes. Additionally, they have a complete coffee bar. If you're in the Elm area and in the mood for dessert, this is the perfect spot to visit.

We ordered two espresso cheesecakes, a croissant, and an everything bagel, totaling around $20, including tax and tips. Although it may be on the pricier side, we truly enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. The cafe has a diverse selection of cakes, and we visited on a Sunday when it was still pretty busy. The cafe tends to fill up in the afternoons. There's also a lovely aquarium in the cafe, which enhances its charm.
