"I mean this is a kind of a cool place to visit but I couldn’t come here constantly. It’s a real small spot, the food portions are on the smaller size for a diner, the atmosphere was cool but it didn’t really hit home for me because they have alot of vintage old machines just laying around, it makes you feel as if your having breakfast in your grandparents cluttered garage or storage area. Some machines were renewed and it just creates this detachment from the vintage environment they’re trying to keep. The food was nothing special. It taste like food you can make at home. For a quick pit stop to get back on the road fast sure this could be the place but for myself I really couldn’t see myself going back here. Maybe if the breakfast was tastier… Side note it’s cash only so bring those bills."

I have been dining here for many years, usually visiting at least once a week, if not more. It's a fantastic value for your hard-earned money! I highly recommend Eastbay Diner! Parking: The parking lot is spacious, with designated handicapped spaces for easy access to the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how kindly they treated my husband. While the exterior doors don’t open automatically, the staff were wonderful about holding the doors open for us, which is a big help for caregivers. However, they need more vegan options! no, but I love it. coffee was not bad at all. Eating is never burned. it is also very popular. Whenever I go and pick up my order, I am always satisfied how much people really enjoy it. the environment makes me feel like home ad! "DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK. I have never made a review in my life but this was DISGUSTING. I ordered a porterhouse steak that was supposed to be medium and 22 ounces. I only ordered medium bc I knew it might cook a little more in travel. I got a rock solid WELL DONE steak. I HAD TO BEG the manager to give me a replacement or a refund. The replacement came and the steak was RANCID. the stinkiest steak that was clearly bad. And none of the steaks were actually 22ounces. I didn’t even bother calling back. $40 DOWN THE DRAIN. disgusting. Never buying again. I was really looking forward to a good steak.Terrible service. The poor worker practically had to beg her manager to take the phone and take accountability. The lady just kept apologizing as if it was her fault."

"I was there yesterday and decided to have a dinner dish that was Chicken and Shrimp Franciase, as shown in the photo. I was here a few times and received proper service, but this last time was exceptional and fast. Delicious dish I highly recommend plus for a reasonable price I could not complain. Besides their dinner dishes, they also have incredibly fantastic breakfast especially the pancakes. We look forward to many more visits to this diner."

"I often command from here. I am very picky when it comes to fish, but the fish here is always fresh and tasty. The salmon is freshly filled and baked. The sole is freshly baked and fried. The shrimp salad is made with cut large shrimps not tiny from a can. The tuna plate is very considerable. Cheesecake is always delicious. The people who deliver are always fast and friendly. "I encountered one of the rudest individuals I've ever met. Being in a hospital, I expected better customer service. I went in to grab a cup of coffee, and the man at the register was focused on trying to locate a missing check instead of acknowledging me. Fortunately, another gentleman at the counter did recognize me. However, while I was waiting, a man walked in, and suddenly, the first employee saw him and greeted him by name. He then left to fetch the usual for that customer, leaving me standing there. I eventually walked out. You’ve lost my business. There are plenty of other cafés and restaurants that truly understand the importance of customer service."

"They did not disappoint me. I ordered breakfast this morning. grilled chicken omelette with mushrooms, avocado and spinach. I asked to not include cheese and they did not add cheese which was great. I asked for ketchup with my home fries and they put it on the home fries instead of giving me packs of ketchup which is great because some restaurants just throw catch up packs in your bag which i dislike instead of putting it on your home fries. I ordered a side of grits they were not too stiff and not too soupy and the platter came with wheat toast. food was good. it was delivered with grubhub and i have no complaints!. this will be my go to diner when I want to order breakfast from home : oh the toast was not toasted too hard or too soft it was perfect!. excuse the quality of my camera lol."

Coffee is good. Internet states they operate non-stop butin reality they close around 2 am. Opens very early. Besides traditional American food they do also Italian and a littleMexican too. Prices are good especially comparing to the food quantity and quality they serve. "First time here and really enjoyed ourselves! Buffalo wings were DAM GOOD!!!! Waffle was good too not overpowering with toppings and strawberries were FRESH! Caesar salad was large but very fresh and tasty! Everything was fresh. Waiters were very friendlyand helpful. We kind of stumbled into the lady who served us because the first waiter may not have wanted to. It worked outbecause our waiter was good and very attentive. Lastly I was not paying attention when paying my bill by card and intended onleaving a 10.00 tip but it totaled 16. The employee who rang us up immediately came into the parking lot searching for us. Notknowing why she was outside I honked and yes she wanted to alert me that I left a larger tip than I may have thought. I askedthe lady to leave it alone and give the waiter the entire tip. I truly appreciate the honesty and professionalism beyond wordsand would definitely recommend this place for good food and honest service!"

"Well, I don't know about the other items on the menu. However, I ordered the chicken masala with garlic mashed potatoes and spinach. The chicken masala was some sort of rubbery meat swimming in a pint of oil(lard? , NOT SAUCE OR GRAVY. The spinach was entirely a bunch of spinach strings(no leafs . The reheated potatoes were not much better with large chunks left unmashed. Clearly, the cook did not do a good job. $25.00 plus tip in the garbage. One last observation: While waiting, I saw 3 or 4 people send their food back for one reason or another."

"I could have sworn I wrote a review after my visit two months ago, but I can't find it anywhere—strange! Anyway, this was my second breakfast visit in a few months, and both times have been equally enjoyable. I arrived on a freezing Sunday morning in late March—ugh, I wish I were back in Florida! The place was almost empty at 8:30 AM, so we kept it simple. I ordered a hot and fresh Western omelet with hashbrowns and rye toast, which was delicious. The eggs were perfectly soft, and I had Taylor ham on the side, along with fries, white toast, and gravy for the fries. It may sound basic, but so many places overlook those little requests. Here, everything was fresh and tasty. My coffee was refilled without me even asking, and the atmosphere was modern and clean. I really don’t understand the negative reviews—this diner is at the top of my list in New Jersey!"

"Well it started off strong, we were welcomed in and took a seat. Menu looked awesome and I tried an omelet with potatoes along with my husband and then my son had an egg with bacon and potatoes. My son and husbands potatoes were the regular fried potatoes but for some reason when they brought my potatoes, they were like steamed and almost mashed. I have no idea what happened but I don’t really understand how two plates of regular fried potatoes could be brought out and then give one person steamed potatoes and there’s absolutely no way they were ever fried. I wish I would’ve taken a picture, they were disgusting. But I still truly would like to understand why the other two guests at my table plus everyone else in the room were given regular fried potatoes and I wasn’t. I’m sure I’ll never be given the answer but I will say we will never be back. Food is too expensive to be given what I was given today."
