For June I like the strawberry lemon cupcakes but prefer lighter whipped cream and meringue over buttercream strawberry shortcake: filled strawberry jam, brown sugar, buttercream topping and fresh strawberry lemon meringue: lemon cake filled with lemon curd and topped with toasted meringue (from egg whites)For the regular cupcakes, I recommend the creme brulee (a seemingly healthier, lighter, custard filled, berry topped option), and lighter whipped cream based peach cobbler. peach cobbler: vanilla cake with brown sugar streusel, cinnamon peach puree filling, topped with homemade whipped cream, and a sliced peach. creme brulee: vanilla cake, classic creme brulee custard, carmelized sugar coating and glazed berries.My favorite of the chocolate based cupcakes was the May chocolate raspberry: chocolate cake, filled with fresh raspberry puree, topped with chocolate ganacheand also recommend flourless chocolate cake with a dulce de leche ganache filling, vanilla bean buttercream and topped with cocoa powder"
