"The cheeseburger platter was absolutely delicious, and the coffee and ice water were great as well. The waitress was very kind and genuine, so I decided to give her the entire $20. It really brightened my day, and I felt full until about 6 PM. I'm so glad this restaurant is still around. Thank you so much!"

"server was friendly. not a fan of eating. pizza was a bit, mozzarella sticks did not live to the hype, and even more disappointing was the sauce- it was sweet. quad city was pretty good. kruste was more burned than I was in a oven / handmade crust, but still crispy. the pizza itself lacked the sose. but I'm a sauce-y-person. the portions are large, but not worth when eating is not good. if you like sweet sauce, that's your jam. if not, don't disturb. the largest deactivation - happyness already in bill, but no announcement given. strange flex, but okay."

"The pizza was very lack luster. The service was great but that couldn't bring up my review. The salad was soggy but then again its a pizza place not a salad place. The pizza crust was solid as a rock and somewhat cold by the time it got to the table. I like Quad city style pizza but this wasn't a great representation of it. The place itself wasn't too loud so great place to grab a bite catch up with friends before a show at second city. But its food to fill your stomach, not really for enjoying."

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"

"This is the first time in about 3 years or so since we were last at Coco's. When we saw it survived the pandemic, we decided to stop and try it out again. First, this restaurant has a horrid odor inside (sewer, grease trap) that remains to this day, and ithas for years. It's a shame the owners don't elect to fix the problem. Second, we were the only people.in the restaurant at4:00, from start to finish. Very strange. Third, we ordered...our food tasted fine. My husband had a Patty Melt and it was fine.I ordered a Four Cheese and Ham melt. One would assume 4 cheese would be four cheese and ham. To no avail. It was ham, cheddar, sourdough and a slight Parmesan grill in the outside. It tasted fine, but, not what I ordered. Fourth, the restaurant is justappearing tired. It is quite apparent that this establishment is running at bare minimum, and it is sad. The server was anabsolute doll, very sweet. She was attentive and helpful. Refills were of plenty. The second star is because of her. She madethe experience tolerable. I do not understand though how this establishment can make it . I feel for the staff that was there,as there were no people. I hope it is better for them at different hours maybe. Some serious effort needs to be made to helpthis place. And for goodness sake, PLEASE fix the stench! It can be done."

"I informed the waitress that I wanted my eggs cooked medium-well and crispy potatoes. However, the eggs arrived runny and watery, and the potatoes were undercooked. I usually don't complain, but this experience was disappointing. The waitress mentioned that this was how they typically serve them. When she brought the plate back, I should have asked her to take it off my order instead. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. Hopefully, they'll do better next time."

"I ate at Century for the first time for a Valentine's dinner. The restaurant is priced as upscale, and the environment was inviting aside from the volume being up on a TV basketball game at the bar. That was odd, especially since the restaurant was small. Another odd thing was our waiter. He acted as if he was serving at a family chain type place, and we had to ask him to do basic server things like refill water, take plates, etc. Professionalism was really lacking. Food: The crab cakes were excellent, the Teres Steak entrée was delicious, but the shrimp and grits were so so. The tails and veins were still attached to the shrimp, even though they sat in a mushy blob of stuff, making it really hard to cut the tails off. The blob tasted good, but the texture was hard to wrap my mind around. I won't order that again. At any rate, it could be a great place if they got some professional attitudes in there, along with a bit more common sense."

"We stopped in while vacationing. The place is beautiful. We were exhausted from a full day. Otherwise we would have had another drink and sat by the many fire pits. We ordered the cider but it was not very tasty. We had one down the street at the brewery that was so flavorful it ended up making this one disappointing. I actually changed to a Pinot Grigio but it was very bland too. The food and service was great"

"I went in for Thanksgiving dinner. My server was right on it! Always checking on me and catered to my little extra whims of whipped cream and extra gravy. I'm giving the food a two-star because it was cold when delivered and the mashed potatoes had huge lumps. But I understand it's a busy holiday schedule but if they're going to try and do just to only selections on the menu then they should strive to at least always make sure that the plated meal is hot. I heard the group behind me send back their plates because they were cold as well. Overall it tasted excellent as expected and the pumpkin pie superb!"

"Are you listening? I love this place! it is cozy and local and there is a little hidden secret in which I cannot reveal? but do we say the locals go and hang around for hours? the only reason why my rating is 5 stars because I ordered a shrimp pool and I was upset when the garnels were?t golf garnel because I?m from louisiana and I was so excited to get nawlin's poor young bread? just to be jealous of my daughters who had gulf garnel in them? Why should they do that? the brot was delicious? and the buffalo chicken sled we had as an appetizer was great!"

"My wife and I discovered this hidden gem! The waiting staff was friendly and the cooking was excellent. The food was delicious! We really enjoyed the daily specials. We ordered the steak and turkey dinner, both of which were fantastic. We started with the Cheddar Broccoli soup, which was a perfect blend of cheese and broccoli. The baklava for dessert was also delicious. Special thanks to our server, Beth. We truly appreciate your kindness!"

"Black bear diner has a full menu, big portions, and serves breakfast all day... which is why I came today- breakfast at 3pm on a Sunday. The workers were kind and polite. My waitress was very helpful and recommended some chili cheese fries instead of loaded fries, which turned out to be the best decision I made all week. Chili cheese fries: chili was flavorful and meaty. Cheese was melted. And ordered a side of sour cream for added flavor. Blackberry filled bearclaw French toast: this was absolutely amazing. Not too sweet but I added warm syrup to satisfy my sweet tooth. The bowl of fruit was also ripe and delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and plated. Overall a great experience that left me happy full."

"Monkeypod had our table ready for seven for Thanksgiving dinner when we arrived. I was the only one who ordered the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, while the other six in my family were delighted to choose from the rest of the menu! Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we had an excellent waiter whose name I wanted to remember. Thank you, Monkeypod, for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. - Peggy Jolly"

"Ive ordered from Chelos a bunch and never had a problem till tonight. Ordered a medium rare, ribeye steak, mushroom, swiss and grilled onion sandwich. I spent exrra for the add ons. 20 dollar sandwich that was less than 6 inches long with pre-frozen overdone steak and raw onions. Wont be coming back. Ever. Times are hard and its a treat for me and my wife to order out. Way to rip off the working people. Meal type: Dinner"

"Will never return to eat at this disgusting place ... the new management there is a bunch of racist... we asked to be sat in Faye section we were told she was busy even tho the diner was empty.. we were sat in the back at a round booth and never received service.. as we get up to walk out we see Faye and she says she was just fired ..to my knowledge she has been working there 14yrs and is the best server there.. we will never return ...this location should be closed down"

"My older sister and I ate at the one that is permanently closed years ago. My sister chose the place as I have not heard of it. Both her and I were very impressed. And we had both eaten at five star restaurants around the country and grew up on finerdining in NYC. For me it truly was a pleasant surprise. We ordered then took our turns going to the salad bar. When my sistercame back she told me excitedly that we would most likely not be eating what we ordered as the salad and soup bar was thatextensive. I didn?t believe her until I saw the selection of breads and soups and salad items. We both made a meal out of thesoup and salad and got our entries to go. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I loved the many choices of bread for thesoups. Our main meals were some of the best food we have had on the west coast. I am glad I got to share that meal with my older sister."
