"every time we had problems with food quality, they take responsibility and repair it. the prices are great and the selection is very good. only handles are the sticky use of alcohol and food signage on and inside the building. turn the new seat area in free into a durable device and make it beautiful. no temporary tent, tables, visible and parking asphalt. take it to the dirt and put some scenic construction to separate the moss from the loud traffic. then they get 5 stars and people like me will visit them religiously. update: the chicken bites are back and perfect. the new burrito bowl is out of the hook and we never go wrong with the flat pizza. 5-star."

"The Sisters Restaurant is really cute with fun retro/antique tables and chairs. This would be a nice place to meet friends for lunch. We didn't care for the ordering process of having to stand in a line to order your food. Drinks were delivered quickly, but the food was slow to come out. The BLT and sweet potato peanut soup were pretty tasty. The tuna in the tuna melt sandwich was mushy and tasted off. It didn't make me sick, but I honestly couldn't get over the terrible texture and flavor."

"We visited this restaurant on a Monday evening and found it to be not very crowded. Looking back, we should have requested outdoor seating as it was a beautiful evening in San Francisco. The service was attentive and top-notch. The decor and ambiance were very pleasing. It's the type of place where people tend to dress up a bit, but you can also feel comfortable in nice jeans and a collared shirt. While the food was decent, we found that the flavors were somewhat lacking and a bit bland. The side dishes were tasty, but the options were limited."

"We had a good experience at Black Bear Diner in Santa Clarita. It 's a chain breakfast place where you can get lots of basic breakfast items in a bear-themed environment (without all the growling and mothers protecting their young which you get when real bears are around. The portions were huge so you definitely won 't go hungry here and there are a million things to choose from, as well as plenty to eat for vegetarians, and gluten-free folks will do okay too. (Though the only gluten-free bread option is a hamburger bun. I had the No Meat, Just the Eggs Please which was a good amount of egg whites and an insane amount of crispy hashbrowns. They were cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning so were a bit bland. They were nice enough to sub a single Sweet Cream Pancake as my bread option. This was a generous-sized thing on its own and tasted as good as a pancake should. The coffee was really good. Too often conventional breakfast places serve up weak coffee which just doesn 't do the job. The mug they served me was filled with a bold, strong coffee that I would drink over and over. Well done! Our kid enjoyed his breakfast burrito without meat...another giant portion which even he, with all his teenage eating prowess, could not finish. And my wife was fine with her benedict meal served without bread (no gluten-free breakfast bread option. They did forget to bring our english muffin side until the end of the meal. We ended up packing it up and taking it with us with the rest of the leftovers. It was a great surprise to have decent food, large portions, and really good coffee at a chain conventional breakfast spot. I 'm a fan and will be back."

"Marie Callender 's in Visalia is GODAWFUL. We ordered a Ham Christmas Dinner in a Box from them. SUPPOSED to be ready at 9 am Today Friday Dec 22 2023. We were delayed getting there for multiple reasons chief among them incompetence at other vendors. We arrived at 11:00 am. Order should have been ready TWO HOURS EARLIER. My wife STOOD there for a FULL half hour waiting for someone ANYONE to Put the order in a Box. We had Paid $222+ IN ADVANCE for this. And they didn 't have the COMPETENCE to assemble a simple box with maybe 10 Pre Packaged items. Meanwhile myself and our Dog were Waiting waiting waiting waiting in the car in the Parking lot. After a half hour I called their Phone Number and after 20 rings gave up. No answer. There was no Line to wait in and the parking lot was FAR from crowded. Some employees kept coming out the back door walking to a sea train behind the restaurant and I Finally Asked what the issue was and why they wouldn 't even answer the TELEPHONE. All I got was OH they 're REALLY busy in there! My wife worked hospitality for years. She KNOWS busy when she sees it. They were NOT. We will NEVER cast a shadow upon that place again. EVER. Hell we 'll cook our OWN holiday meals moving forward. It a LOT cheaper and without the FRUSTRATION. Oh yeah and $22 for a Key Lime Pie??? What 's it got? GOLD in it? Bob and Lily Powell. "We went in tonight to give Sam’s a second chance. Restaurant was not crowded maybe 4 other tables. We sat for 15 minutes and the only time the wait staff acknowledged us was to try to serve us another tables salads. We told them we had not even ordered drinks yet. There was no acknowledgment or offer to take our drink order. A few more minutes went by and a table who came in after us was waited on. As we left the restaurant and commented on the lack of service, the waitstaff informed us they were “very busy” with other tables. As locals, we want to support local businesses but they must do better."

"When you first walk in everything is beautifully laid out and everything looks Devine! However, once we were inside it was very hard to get service and the staffs attitude was poor. The guy helping us seemed annoyed with the couple of simple questions I had and simply ignored the compliment I gave. We ordered several different cake slices, cheesecake bars, peris brest, and a sticky bun.CAKES:The cakes all had a very very mild flavor. The oreo had 2 layers of chocolate cake and a vanilla in between. The chocolate cake was hardly chocolate tasting at all but the texture was nice. The chocolate cake in the oreo cake honestly tasted like a box cake mix but even those have more chocolate flavor...The buttercream they have is excellent.The lemon cake, same thing. It was almost like the cake was a simple vanilla and the buttcream that went along with it had a beautiful texture but you could hardly taste any lemon.The peanut butter cake was very dry and almost stale. But the buttercream was well flavored with a reeses flavor and had nice texture to it. We just ended up scraping the frosting off to use with pretzels later.CHEESECAKE:The oreo and chocolate Cheesecake were some of the best cheesecakes we have ever had! Very dense but creamy and well blended flavors throughout the Cheesecake bars. Very rich NY style with lovely crusts. We will definitely keep coming for those!PERIS BREST:The peris brest was just not good. First off, it should not be called a peris brest it is more of a giant filled cream puff. Every part of it was bad to me. The pâte à choux dough seems overworked because it was very very tough. The pastry cream inside was too thick and dense. The sliced strawberries were on their last leg and hardly ok to serve. The Whipped cream was over Whipped and had a lumpy and gross texture with no sweetness to it. We just threw it out after failing to find some type of redeeming quality about it.STICKY BUNOh my goodness! I highly recommend buying like 12 of these because they are phenomenal! They have used what I believe to be a puff pastry type dough and was beautifully glazed and sticky. The chew factor on the sticky sweet outside was just what I was craving and will be getting more in the future!Bottom line some things are done extremely well while other treats are lacking. To summarize, if you are looking for an intense flavor in your cake, this isn't the place. But if frosting is your thing then you're in the right place. Everything is beautifully decorated and delicious to the eyes but just simply lacks flavor to back it up."

"On Saturday, June 15, 2024, we decided to stop by Elite Bakery, located at 5150 Fair Oaks Blvd, Ste 107, Carmichael, CA 95608. The bakery has a charming and clean atmosphere. It is open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM. The cashier was patient and professional while we placed our order. We tried a croissant and two chocolate chip cookies. While the croissant was a bit on the dry side for my taste, the chocolate chip cookie was just okay. If we return, there are several other pastries that caught our eye, although I'm not sure what they were called. The bakery also has a small parking lot, and there are a few other businesses in the area, so finding parking was not an issue when we visited."

"We had the pleasure of dining at Walnut Hills last night. The setting (an old historic house) and the history of the restaurant was so interesting. The service was friendly and efficient. We had the gumbo and a house salad as well as the famous friedchicken (there's a reason it's famous! Yum) and sides. Everything was delicious! The Old fashion cocktail was very unique andoutstanding. Took home a slice of Italian Cream cake and we savored every bite."

"Marie Calenders started in my home town so it has a special place in my heart. Having said that the food was good as it has always been. The pies are tasty as ever. The staff was friendly and did a fine job. I think they need to prove and update the menu choices. Also the restaurant is still stuck in the 70's. Literally I get that their clientele is largely in their 50s to 80s but playing 70's music? Any light jazz would be preferable. I fear they are not going to be around much longer if they can't attract a younger crowd soon. Update 9/16/23 I had dinner with my wife at Marie Callanders tonight. We both had the mini Shepard's pie salad and pie. This was a great deal at $16.it was not a large meal but just right in size. We both enjoyed the meal. 2-18-24 we ordered the chicken pot pie salad and pie deal tonight. Again the food was good and our waiter was a bit of a character, which made for an enjoyable meal."

Other waitstaff also stopped by to chat with my granddaughter, Sara. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I have never had a bad experience at Chelo's, whether in Smithfield or Cranston. The dining experience is always consistently great and personal. My granddaughter and I love it there. "I recently took advantage of their 2-for-1 rib dinner special and managed to convince my wife, who typically isn’t a fan of barbecue, to join me. I’m pleased to say the food was just as excellent as it has been on my previous visits, which I truly appreciate. The ribs were juicy and only slightly greasy. We ordered two sides each, including fried okra, green beans, coleslaw, and mac and cheese. During our meal, a server brought out fresh hot rolls, which added a nice touch. Unfortunately, we were too full to try the peach cobbler with ice cream this time. While there are certainly better rib joints in Texas, it would be hard to find one that consistently maintains this level of quality."
