"Coffee shop and eatery in one. (Technically has separate coffee shop, the Mug, inside the Bistro can order coffee to go at the coffee bar (with a bit of cafe style indoor seating right near door) or be seated at table for sit down meal experience (with both drink menu and food menu). Food menu includes breakfast/brunch foods as well as lunch foods (mostly salads, soup and sandwiches). Nice variety of options with very reasonable prices. Cute interior with quotes across the walls. Comfortable place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a meal alone or with a small group. There are booths along walls that seat 4 6 people and stand alone tables in the middle. During slow hours between meal rushes, a good place for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee while reading or studying."

The breakfast at this restaurant was delicious. We tried the eggs Benedict, a breakfast sandwich, and the French toast, all of which were excellent. The highlight was the mimosa bar they have during Saturday brunch.

Beautiful breakfast menu from Omelets to Ei Benedict. The staff is super friendly and committed. Very nice atmosphere. Eating was delicious everyone enjoyed their breakfast including a sceptical guy who was nervous about the lavender tea and ended up loving it.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Great customer service, great drinks and excellent food. Everyone is always so welcoming to my wife and I and this has become one of our favorite spots. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a great place for coffee and brunch/lunch.

This place is seriously good We visit a lot of cafes and bistros and this little gem in Denton is such a great place!! We had the American breakfast and the French toast. The cappuccinos were better than almost anywhere I?ve visited (next to the Dominican) We had a stellar waiter which makes this place really a 10 star. We will be back!!! View menu

The Chestnut Tree provided catering for an event we recently hosted and we were very pleased with everything! Suzanne the owner was wonderful to work with and provided recommendations to help us make selections that worked perfectly. Rossana built the most beautiful grazing table and provided great service! We are very thankful for the excellent experience they provided and highly recommend them!

We love coming here this weekend. You have often set up a Moimosa bar that we love! The food is wonderful and the breakfast potatoes are the BEST. If you like tea, try denton fog. It's so good. On weekends they often have a live music duo that gives the perfect setting for a cozy brunch. We only rarely have to wait and the waiter was always friendly and knowledgeable. This is the perfect place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.
