"I ordered soul food from this restaurant and got a lemonade, two fried pork chops with macaroni and yams, and a brownie. The lemonade was delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The brownie was tasty, although I could have done without the frosting on top. It was even better when warmed up in the microwave. The pork chops were fantastic - cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. I requested white bread to make a sandwich with my pork chops, but they only gave me two slices. I wish I had received more."

"Our waitress was excellent the food was excellent. The length of time it took to get our drinks, ~20minutes) appetizers was disappointing. It's understandable that staffing shortages are to be expected that patience is necessary when dining out, but, to see other waitstaff hanging out at tables where the customers must have been regulars, while the person serving us was doing utmost to keep up with the demands. Just left a negative impression. Lack of teamwork, lack of caring). The atmosphere in one part of the dining room was updated pleasant. Other areas need a refresher mirrored ceiling? Single waitress excellent. Food excellent. Hostess was good. Overall though, won't be back."

"We have been regular customers at Red's 395 for quite some time, usually visiting for lunch when we come into Carson City monthly. We have always appreciated the atmosphere, service, and consistent quality of food at this restaurant. However, our recent experience on May 21st was extremely disappointing. One of our favorite hamburger selections was no longer available on the menu, and the item we ordered was not what we expected. The pulled pork sandwich, which we have always enjoyed, was lacking in quality. The bun was dry and hard, and the small container of sauce provided was not enough. While we understand the safety concerns that may have led to the removal of self-service bottles, we were disappointed by the limited sauce. Despite these issues, the service was as good as always. We hope that this was just a one-off experience and not indicative of a decline in quality at Red's 395."

"This was our first time at Ragin Cajun. We had heard about it but wanted to experience it ourselves. We were not disappointed. We had reservations and were seated immediately. My man ordered the Crawfish Elouffee and I ordered the Bayou Bisque. BOTH were excellent!!!! I was full so offered the remainder to my hubby. The noise volume was MUCH better than other South Bay restaurants...we didn't have to yell. We truly appreciated that aspect of our meal. Our waiter was very helpful in answering our questions about the menu. His recommendations were on the spot. He was very friendly and had a good sense of humor. We WILL return. and possibly try some of that Alligator!"

"I love this place. It has so much potential. The service is excellent and I can't say enough about the excellent server assigned to our table. I was hoping for a menu that would extend a little more into a dinner menu rather than a salad or pizza or burger menu. But, I can live with that. Now the big issue was getting our order moving and getting it straight. Our server did everything she could to keep us happy. I noticed the board game recommendations on the menu and had a nice chuckle. But after waiting so long for our order to be served, a game of Monopoly wasn't that bad of an idea. There were 4 in our party and we did make prior reservations. 3 of us had salads and the 4th ordered a wrap sandwich with onion rings. 2 of the salads were the Southwest Chicken Salads, but the cook never included the chicken. The salads were served within ample time but the wrap and onion rings were no where to be seen. We started in on the salads and noticed the absence of the chicken. Our server apologized and took off to the kitchen. I could tell she was embarrassed by the mix up and she corrected the error. Still no wrap and onion rings. We almost completed our salad dinners and the wrap and onion rings were finally served. Our server apologized repeatedly and management authorized 50% off the bill. (A visit from the manager would have been nice. I think your menu price meals are a little on the high side, but we will return and hope for a little better experience."

"that was a hidden gem we found on the way to wild adventures. the crackle barrel is there where he is with you! it surpassed my expectations, especially the retail department, it was full of fun toys, gifts, beautiful original Christmas jewelry, clothing I really want, coca cola merchandise, cool things that can get the whole family something out. the staff was very helpful and polite and showed a lot of professionalism, especially the retail manager young lady mae. the waiting staff went as fast as they could do with many people who came in and left. the food was excellent and very tasty and fresh. the sweet tee was really delicious. I and my family and friends really enjoyed us."

"Great DJ! Love the music that was played the room was great. Our server that was the waitress/bartender/cashier made a lot fall thru the crack. Because we has a party over 10 we weren’t allowed to have separate tabs. Our all in one brought me the bill to pay on one credit card, when other guest wanted to order they were told that my credit card would be charged without my authorization. Unacceptable! Great spot but horrible customer service. The spot should be about the experience for their patrons."

"I have eaten in cracker barrels in the united states and plan stops on our road trips to eat there, and with very few exceptions they were always really good. unfortunately this location was the exception. the place was a train wreck, dirty from floor to deck. the tables were so old, there was bare wood exposed. the bad stunk very bad and urinal flushed properly. it looks like a combination of mold and dust around the air duct work, so they don't look up. Although the employed were not rude, they were certainly not friendly. our food was very warm. I ordered over simple eggs, but they were over cooked. biscuits and gravur were very bland, almost as they forget to season the gravitation. I can't talk about the cracker barrels, only north or south of them, but I can save them a trip down the disappointment track."

"First time customer and loved everything about my experience. I was meeting my good friend for lunch. I was greeted soon as I walked in. They were very friendly and funny. We both had the two meat plate slice beef and sausage and two sides and Texas toast. I took cut my brisket with my fork very tender. The favor was great and the sauce to me makes the meal and it was spot on. The sausage was good to. So glad I picked this place to have lunch . "The Soul Spot is truly a soulful spot. The curry chicken and black eyed peas were incredibly flavorful and juicy. The fried catfish was some of the best I've ever had. The baked macaroni and cheese was delicious as well, and I loved the half and half. This was my first visit to New York and I definitely want to come back and dine here again. "We had very mixed feelings about our dining expeience at Kitchen Cocktails. The ambiance was great and the cocktail menu was wonderful. The menu was varied and we were mostly pleased with our meals. The staff is very disorganized. Upon entering the restaurant we were told that there would be a minute wait, before we were even asked if we had a reservation. I told the hostess that we made a reservation on Open Table and we were quickly seated. The restaurant was not full, but there were quite a few large parties in the dining room, so perhaps the "wait" for walkins was to pace the kitchen. I ordered a cauliflower burger and it did not come out as advertised on the menu. It was supposed to be served with a lemon tarragon aioli, but that was missing. When I asked for it, I received something different that tasted like it had relish in it. The red onion jam on the burger was tasty. The warm salted pretzel bread was an excellent appetizer for the kids. The adults in our group enjoyed the cocktails! On Friday night, kids eat free, but there seemed to be a lot of confusion about that. The webpage advertises: "Kids Eat FREE Under Fridays, complimentary kids menu item per child with each adult entrée ordered." The hostess clarified that kids eat free with one adult entree from the Specialties portion of the menu. I ordered from the Burgers Sandwiches portion of the menu since that was the only option for a vegetarian. Our server didn't know about Kids Eat Free and charged us full price. He seemed very flustered with the mistake. Overall, this place is probably better for cocktails and adult dining. If you plan to eat here, don't bring the kids"

"I had dinner on Oct 15 with a former colleague that I hadn't seen in 25 years. He loved the food! I got out of my comfort zone (crabcakes) and got the Fruits de Me entree at the recommendation of our server, Ed (I think that's what I heard). BTW, he is great as was the host (who recognized me and greeted me by my last name which most people cannot pronounce). Plus the martinis were ice cold and perfect. I don't come here that often because I live in Arlington. But that's going to change! Thanks for making it a great evening for my friend."

"The store always surprises me an visitors on how beautiful is organized, lighted up and decorated the room was. A warm welcome to the store was nice to hear and we were asked if we need assistance with anything. The Cashier was in place behind the register but unfortunately no one was able to help while we were standing up waiting to be seated. We proceeded to find our own table and surprised to noticed the lack of people at 8:30 am on a Thursday morning (after my long night flight) no one showing up with menus and to take our order. We waited for a few minutes and called the waitress. She came back with the menu and we ordered a coffee and orange juice. The juice had a strange aftertaste twist and the coffee was weak and lack of flavor. While we were talking about our findings we noticed that our favorite omelettes were removed from the menu presenting now less dishes and price change too. We asked the waitress what happened to the delicious omelettes but kindly responded: sorry, this is what we currently have at the moment. We were disappointed and decided to leave the restaurant. I hope that in general this economy will improve and will have back our old Cracker Barrel with great cooks hostess and servers like it used to be."

"This used to be one of my favorite places, especially for breakfast! Unfortunately, like many other restaurants, the quality and portion sizes have declined while prices have increased over the past year. It seems they've had to cut back on their ingredients while raising prices. The service is still great, and the breakfast is served warm. They still offer orange juice and biscuits, but I'm pretty sure our dish didn't contain real eggs. They've also stopped providing both toast and biscuit gravy at breakfast; now you only get one choice. I used to really love Cracker Barrel, but it feels like something's missing now."

"I am so grateful that I was referred to this bakery when I needed a special cake, cupcakes and cookies for the baby shower of my daughter. the way they decorated them over all expectations, even more beautiful, then the pictures I gave them to use as a guide - the decorator is an amazing artist. the aromas of desserts were heavenly above all the strawberry-champagner they recommended for the cake. everything I asked of them was done until the ninth grade. there are not enough words to describe how satisfied I am with this bakery. they have earned a very loyal customer for years."

"My God My God today!!! This was our first time at this restaurant and we did a take out. I was looking for a good wing place and this place popped up immediately on yelp. I read the reviews and my goodness we tried it and BABYYYYYYYY them Geechie Wings did not disappoint. My husband got the pork chops and they were great as well. It was so much we couldn't even finish which will make a good snack later. We both had Mac and cheese. He had orka soup and collard greens my goodness again . We will definitely recommend and will be back GREAT JOB!! Great customer service as well. Then the top of the mountain was KOOLAID yes koolaid in punch peach and lemonade. The koolaid was very good not overly sweet but just the right balance. We will definitely be back!! Too greedy to take pictures."
