"Had a reservation for 8 and they were able to fit all 11 of us in. Hostess was amazing and our waiter Mos was so patience (do not know Utahâs liquor laws) with all the questions. The Ahi bowl was so yummy and the fried pickles had a little spin to them. Highly recommend! Oh yes, and the live music made our Salt Lake visit! Make sure you visit the Rabbit Hole downstairs (speak easy vibe) and the Church nightclub (after 10) that is upstaira!"

This was my first time at Lake Effect and what a great first impression!!! From the bar scene, comfortable lounge area to wait for friends, great ambience, fantastic service, good music and delicious food offers, this is a must if you are in the downtown of Salt Lake City ... I will certainly return and continue to bring friends and work fellows!!!

Service was pretty dismissive and pretentious a friend had a full drink poured on her by waitstaff and they never apologized. SO loud for a dim dinner location, made even worse by the drunk bachelorette party that showed up and started screaming. Food was solid/good, cocktails were good. Nothing was totally outstanding. Ambience other than the noise was nice and lounge like.
