"Modest in size with three rows of two person tables pushed together tables in middle and some in windows. Tables against walls on right as you enter are four person tables with high cushions, whereas on left side they were two person tables with high back bench cushioned bench seats facing out with regular wood chairs on outer part of table. Prices are decent compared to other nearby Indian restaurants. Not ADA accessible. Street parking only. Progressive Indian music over speakers. Only three staff and kitchen staff present. Service is laid back but when they are slow it is good. It appears a place for local Indian community rather than tourists. Maybe during work hours it changes. I was here at 6PM on a Wednesday 2023 and there were plenty of tables available with no wait. Flickering mining lanterns for ambience. Clean location. Bar in back of this narrow location. As close as possible (in the US to get) authentic Indian food at decent prices. "Would have given it 5 stars but for the belly dancing. Was enjoying a quiet diner with my wife and the food was very good. Half way thru the meal the entertainment started in the form of a belly dancer. Music was very loud and the dancer was fine, but it never seemed to end. There was 5 or more different dances, to the point where me and my wife felt uncomfortable. It didn't end till we were done with our dinner. Not sure if it was a weekend thing or happens every night. "I?m writing this as a common review for both the Iselin and East Windsor Khasiyat locations, as everything is excellent and standard when it comes to the quality/taste of the food and the customer service. Haven of Parathas that?s how I?d like tocall this place. They have numbered their variety of parathas from 1 100 that you can literally play a game of closing youreyes, pointing your finger randomly over a point on the menu card and order that number of paratha. We usually order couple ofparathas and a chaat item whenever we visit a Khasiyat. Hands down, they have the best parathas in town. How could someoneconsistently make the best parathas when they have a large array of choices to pick from?! They are business smart andenvironment friendly when it comes to the plates and cups they use. They don?t give your dishes in porcelain or plastic but theyuse hard paper/wood material that?s easy for them to dispose. But the downside is the size of those plates or cups. You have avery small circumference to work through your hands on the dishes and it?s not an ideal experience when you eat. I?m not sure ifthis will reach the business for them to consider and improve but this is the reason I rate this place a star lesser."

"This is one of the best Desi Chinese restaurant in DFW. We absolutely love their food. They have lots of amazing dishes with a great taste like you are discovering delicious dishes. We had the sizzling chicken karahi with desi spicy fried rice which were fantastic. We recommend their grilled protein dishes with fried rice which is a great combination. We definitely recommend this place if you are into desi Chinese food. This place also gave a bar inside the restaurant. We definitely would be back again. "Ordered Masala Dosa and idly vada. Dosa was good. But idli looks atleast a day old. Insisted if not fresh Idli I can take something else but response was made 2 hours ago so having to microwave. Then when I got the bill the price was higher as compared to physical copy of menu card. I did ask them about the difference,they said that the menu card was not updated with the new prices. I checked their website, and their website had the same pricewhich I saw in their menu card. The food itself was just okay and not worth the increased price. The mango lassi complemented the meal beautifully. The service was also excellent! My only minor complaint was that it didn't have enough heat for my taste. I had specifically requested it to be "hot hot, like Indian hot," and while the kind server double-checked my preference, I confirmed it. The curry had a decent amount of spice, but I was hoping for something more intense. I can handle it! Next time, I'll ask for "Indian Hot Plus"!"
