"This review is an update from one I wrote two months ago. We were generously invited back by the restaurant owners for a complimentary meal to make up for our previous experience. My husband and I truly appreciate that Chicago Waffles West Loop wanted to rectify the mistake from our first visit.
This time, our experience was wonderful, and I have nothing but positive remarks. The owners reached out to us via email, sincerely apologizing for our earlier visit and inviting us back for a redo. We visited on a Sunday afternoon with a reservation for 1 PM, and upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner.
We were seated at a lovely table in a cozy corner. I ordered the Cheddar Waffles with Beef Brisket and a Mimosa, while my husband chose the Country Fried Chicken with a Berry Mojito. The beef brisket was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the waffles were light and fluffy inside, perfectly golden and crispy on the outside. I enjoyed every bite! My husband commented that his chicken was also tender and juicy, and he found his mojito to be delicious—smooth and perfectly balanced.
As an extra treat, the owners surprised us with a complimentary waffle flight that included chocolate, red velvet, green tea, and buttermilk waffles to take home. Overall, our experience was fantastic. I highly recommend Chicago Waffles West Loop as a great spot for breakfast or brunch with family, friends, or that special someone."
