"I had the ham dinner with mash potatoes and stuffing. I asked our waiter if it should have gravy, he said yes and ran away to get some. We ordered our dinner at 5:50 pm and got our food at 6:57 pm. We would have left if not for our waiter. My wife had Salmon that was dry, and it came with white rice (which was cold), I asked her if she wanted to send it back and she said what and wait another hour for the food , she did not eat her dinner and instead took it home and will fix (heat) it up this week-end. Sorry to say but we will not be going back."

"I started ordering for delivery pretty regularly for the past 2 months. One time, early on, they messed up my order and delivered a calzone when I ordered a pizza, but since then, it's been fine. The delivery guys are always nice, arrives when promised. When I call, they have my address on file (I guess they can tell by the tel#? so that's always convenient. The pizza is good, I get plain. I think it's reasonably priced and even better when you have a coupon. It still tastes good the next day too. (I would give the pizza a 4 . I like their pasta, my favorite is cavatelli and meat sauce. Both the sauce and pasta taste fresh with good portion sizes and good amount of meat in the sauce. (I would give it a 5 . I tried the garden side salad, it was OK. The greens were a little dry, but at least not wilted or brown. They add shaved carrots, slice of cucumber and onions. (I would give it a 3 ."

"It has been years since I visited a claim jumper. This review is for the one at south coast plaza. I remember loving their 6 layer chocolate cake that they are famous for and was happy to see it's still on the menu. We had a large group of 11 and were seated outside quickly. If you are going in warmer weather definitely sit outside. Our waiter was so kind and attentive. Wanted to make sure everything was good. The portions are huge so unless you are starving better to share a plate. Got the fish tacos and I recommend the brussel sprouts side dish, so good! Also pretzel bites for a starter with a group is a good choice. Kids got lobster Mac and cheese and they loved it. Lots of good options that don't have meat."

"I live about 45 mins north of this Claim Jumper, but my fiance and I were meeting his sister here for dinner because she was in Tukwila for work, but had driven in from eastern WA shortly before we met up. So, it was a bit surprising when we entered the restaurant and were waiting to be acknowledged by the employees there and were completely ignored by them. A guy came in after us and the tall, white man in his 40's who was working behind the counter (I think he was a waiter immediately greeted him. He was quick to get him a menu and seat him, even though we had been standing there waiting to be helped for several minutes by this time. It was very rude, especially since we had all just driven quite a distance to eat here. At this point, the nice black lady that I believe was the hostess finished up with the phone call that she had been on and we expressed our confusion and exasperation and she apologized, saying that she had seen what had happened and had been confused about it as well. She quickly got us a table (she was great, no complaints about her! . Our waitress was very nice and our food was really good. Tried the spicy maple bacon for the first time and loved it! We all devoured our dinners, too. I had the half rack of ribs, baked potato, and Mac cheese and it was all amazing! Other than the strange and off putting experience when we first entered, the rest of our night was nice. We even split a slice of the giant chocolate cake to take home lol."

"we had reservations for 6 and tried to change it to 7 (which is through open table) and they would not accommodate that they were fully booked, but when we came there, the restaurant was over half empty and it remained so throughout our evening meal. they sat us in a stand with service for 4 and we had to ask for 2 more table settings when our food came there (so obviously they were not just a table for the usa or they had the service for 6 ready.) caesar salat was good, but the dinner salat was brown. the türkei was a bit dry, but ok. one of our party ordered tri tip and got the fat overdone end. I wasn't as impressed as I was hoping. especially, since the restaurant is not overbooked, overcrowded, too much busy at the time we were at the beginning of the afternoon."

"I have been coming to Claim Jumper since it's inception in Northridge, Ca. My family loves it here. I took my wife out for a nice Valentine's meal and as always the food is Great! I had the PRIME menu rib eye steak and lobster tail. Lobster was good but my steak was The Bomb worth paying the extra money. I just don't understand why everything is a la carte on the prime menu, we are already paying more for a quality meat, oh well. I would definitely recommend Claim Jumper to anyone who is looking for a good meal at a good price. Unfortunately the service SUCKED my waiter WAS NOT attentive, DID NOT pay attention to detail and we only saw him when we ordered and at the end of the meal, nothing in between and practically every table and booth was empty for the most part, so it's not like they were super busy. However I'm thinking this was an isolated incident. We are in a pandemic and all you hear is how all businesses are under staffed so I figured they hired a rookie that was not trained to Stuart Anderson standards because in Stu's defense this was the first time my service was so bad in all the years I have been coming here. I will be going back."

"what a bummer off an experience. Food was TERRIBLE and so expensive. order the squash gnocchi. It came with very small portion and the gnocchi was so rubbery. and absent of flavor. the broccoli side was bland and missing salt and maybe something to make it interesting. My friends curried salmon was bland and served with a heaping pile of coleslaw!??? the waiter was mostly absent. I know covid has really shaken up the dining experience -but please don't forget to make good food and be hospitable to your patrons! We spent a lot of money for a fun dining experience and got nothing. will never go here again."

"We got the Chicken Pot Pie and the Lobster BLT with Onion Rings. Both were superb, but it was way too much food. The servings are very large. I would not get the onion rings with the sandwich again as it is just too much. I would order all again but maybe separate them out and share instead. We really wanted to get a desert but just were stuffed. The only bummer was that we went based on a Landry's card credit. I verified on the Landry's site that Claim Jumper was an option. I booked through Open Table which was a direct link from Landrys. But we found out that Landry's no longer owns Claim Jumper. That is no fault of Claim Jumper, it is all on Landry's for not being updated."

"I have discoursed in this restaurant in the past, but was very disappointed by my experience. I celebrated my birthday and ordered lobster tails and my man ordered filet minion. No pages came with the meal and we had to order pages that we were surprised. after 15 minutes our waitress came to us to say that the lobster dick would not be ready for half an hour. I agreed to wait since I wanted to. in the meantime the steak of my man came out and I sat there and saw him eat. my side came out (baked kartoffel,) but no dicks. I was told that the brot would be right outside, but had to tell our waitress where is the brot and she said: "oh, they didn't get it?" it came finally, but a goid restaurant would have coordinated the food to get out at the same time. I know when I made the reservation through the open table, I mentioned it was my birthday. When our meal was over, we were asked if we like dessert. I had to remind her that it was my birthday. then my disc came out and kerze out. another facility would have marked it and would have welcomed me that I said happy birthday. I was disappointed and wished I had celebrated my day in another restaurant. the food was good. I am not going back to claim jumper"

"We moved to Osttal a little over a year ago and I'm so disappointed that we didn't try Streets of NY earlier! We had a pizza, salad, and cheesecake... it was all amazing! The only thing better than the food was the ice cold beer and our great server, Janell (apologies if I misspelled your name). The host (possibly the manager or owner) was very welcoming and always smiling. Having been in the restaurant business my whole adult life, I can say that they both know what they're doing. It's a wonderful experience to go to a restaurant where the staff is pleasant from the moment you walk through the doors. Keep up the good work!"

"There are certainly better options in Addison to consider. I would strongly advise against visiting this place. I stopped by late Wednesday night to celebrate a friend's birthday with some drinks. We were seated at the main bar on the first floor when a cockroach scuttled across the bar top. I was understandably upset, but the bartender, Mackenzie, remained surprisingly calm; she casually disposed of the roach with a napkin and walked away. It seems clear that this wasn’t her first encounter with such a situation. The presence of one roach suggests there are likely many more hiding around, which raises serious concerns about the cleanliness of the establishment—it is simply not up to standard. After witnessing that incident, I couldn’t finish my drink, settled my tab for just one drink, and left promptly. The tiny food portions, which come at exorbitant prices (for example, 8 individual nachos for $14), and a dirty bar are enough for me to decide I won't be returning."

"We moved to Corvallis from North Idaho four years ago, and we immediately went on the hunt for a breakfast diner! After several tries and many disappointments, we landed at Sharon’s in South town. The restaurant was really busy, but we were greeted right away, and seated quickly. My husband ordered his usual … chicken fried steak, and I ordered a big scramble with all the yummy breakfast foods, and a biscuit with gravy I don’t remember the name of my scramble! lol) When our food came … we were surprised at how large the portions were, and so HAPPY that it tasted as good as lit looked!! Best biscuits ever!! There have been many many meals at Sharon’s for us since our first, and I’m happy to say that the lunch is as good as the breakfast, and the staff are the cherry on top! Definitely stop at Sharon’s!"

"I don't think they have anything to visit. only 2 of us, and the drinks took at least 20 minutes to arrive after we had ordered them. the waitress was not visible. she brought us broth before we even ordered our food, and the broth was not fresh. our food order lasted at least 30 minutes to arrive; the filet of my wife was cold (so was the broccoli) and my was rare, not medium rare. firebirds can be very ggod when they get it right, but they can be very bad if they don't. tonight was very bad. had not left a tip because the service was so bad and I never did."
