"This restaurant is a great spot for dining, offering a diverse menu that ranges from pizza and chicken to veal, beef, and fish dishes, alongside a variety of pasta options. I tried the Chicken Tuscan, which was excellent; my only critique is that the chicken could have been a bit more tender, but the flavor and white wine sauce were delightful. Although the cocktail selection is somewhat limited, they do have a bar with beer and wine. The portions are generous and the food is fresh, deserving a solid 5-star rating in that department. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. I would give the atmosphere a solid 4 stars, but considering the reasonable prices compared to other restaurants in the area, it’s a fair trade-off. There’s plenty of parking available in the back, and the location is conveniently close to the Ridgefield Playhouse. One last point... as a gelato enthusiast, I can confirm that their berry gelato was outstanding."

"We went to celebrate Father’s Day with a breakfast out. The hostess was pleasant and our server (waitress) was very personable and attentive. My husband was very pleased with his meal...he commented that his hash browns were light and crisp and the over easy eggs were done to perfection. My meal was very well presented and my fruit of blueberries, strawberries, pineapple and melons were of just the right sweetness. Others in our party of six were pleased as well with their service. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and we will return."

"Happy Hour has 1/2 price wine bottles and $4 off some food. The coconut shrimp and truffle fries were great! The mixed salad was pretty good (but kind of expensive for the size and being just lettuce, tomatoes and gorgonzola . It wasn't clear, but thesliders come with just two and salad, but they were good. The fish tacos looked great, so need to try those next time. It gotpretty busy just after Happy Hour with folks stalking us for our table (and actually asking to put their stuff on our extrachair! !"

"The General Manager, Mario, went out of his way to secure a table for my family for dinner! Knowing that our flights were arriving late, we anticipated arriving at Marshall's Landing just before the kitchen closed. Mario assured us that this was not an issue, personally took care of our table, and made sure we did not feel rushed. The food was outstanding, from the appetizers to the entrees and desserts, and the view of the river was lovely! We will definitely return!"

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. Never come here, never. It is a terrible hotel restaurant."

"Really the best chinese food of my life! The shrimp toast was aromatic and the outside flakes. The shrimp lo mein and spicy shrimp with peanuts were also great dishes. Our waitress managed not to make both dishes hot but to keep all the flavors. Even the tea was fragrant and incredible. We'll be back."

"BILL Jake was out waiter, he was wonderful and welcoming. Slightly annoyed by his choice to predict our orders. My rating is low because as soon as we arrived the Host seemed quite lost. while the other host seems overwhelmed with cleaning tables and trying to help the front line. Had reservations but couldnt choose our table. While waiting on our food Me, my husband and another customer w/ a child saw a mouse run out from behind us, take food and disappeared near the furthest Heater and next the the roof gutter. I was uncomfortable eating at this place because it was sooo close to the building how do you know Its not in the walls or inside. For one flight, one drink and one order of the tuna app. was dollars..... and conveniently the manager wasn't around They also had an animal show OCT I am hoping they keep their restaurant clean enough to host such things."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as stated and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"We live in Boca year round, and have been to this restaurant at least once a month, during the summer and in season. We had a 6:45 reservation for 4 last night, I made the reservation to sit inside, because I knew it was going to be cold and windy. We arrived a few minutes earlier for our reservation, I was told they couldn’t honor our reservation because people that made their reservation to sit outside decided it was too cold, so they seated everyone inside. They had no room for us, and told us we had to sit outside. Why bother making a reservation, Many of our friends will not go back, because of the rudeness of the management! Before Covid this restaurant was packed, because of the management’s rudeness, people have not returned. Most nights there are empty tables on the weekend. To make a long story short , we left and went to a nearby restaurant, that wee happy to seat us. I am extremely disappointed in Oli’s, for inside reservations , they could have put a reserved sign on the table. There are many restaurants in Boca that are happy to honor reservations!!"

"Amazing experience at The Lobby!! Like.. when I tell y 'all my jaw hit the ground from shock at the level of customer service, I am not exaggerating. The customer service here from the security guard, manager and staff was incredible. I was born and raised in the south where people say southern people are nice... For one that 's not true but I give credit where it 's due and this establishment is top notch and deserves all the credit.. OKAY NEWARK!! Everyone here was beyond nice. Even right before last call, the manager, security guard and staff talked to us respectfully and personably. Andrika, Brandon and John William all made our experience one to remember... at 3am! Andrika was so sweet to us and made us feel so comfortable. She had great tips and suggestions for the area and also introduced us to some of the staff. Brandon, one of the security guards, helped a lady exit safely after she had one too many.. (we 've all been there) by assisting her and her friend down the stairs. He was also very kind to us during the final closing calls. John William was the manager on duty and had the most personable and professional demeanor. Even while he was multitasking with his closing duties, he kept conversation with us. I 'm beyond impressed with this bar, had no idea it was going to be this good of an experience. I 'll be back here anytime I am back in EWR!"

Our group of 8 people ordered a variety of drinks, including Jack and Coke, cranberry juice and vodka, tequila shots, and Green Tea shots, but unfortunately, all the drinks were disappointing and of poor quality.Moreover, the air conditioning in the club seemed inadequate, as we were sweating excessively from the moment we stepped inside. This issue did not leave a good impression, especially considering I had visited the club around 2 years ago and found it more enjoyable back then. These recent changes are not encouraging me to consider coming back here next time."

"RANCID FOOD, STAY AWAY!!!! Here 's a review that might just save your life. We tried this eatery for lunch two weeks ago and were encouraged the inviting decor and pleasant staff. They offered us the dinner lobster menu as new customers, and so we both ordered different lobster dishes. Both meals looked well prepared and plated, but the first bite of my lobster tail told me that something was very VERY wrong with my lobster tail, as it REEKED of a strong ammonia taste and odor. I instinctively spit it back on the plate and asked my wife to smell it while my mouth burned. She said she could smell it from the other side of the table. Thinking the food had been contaminated by some kind of cleaning product we signaled to the waiter to take it away. And I want to be clear here. It wasn 't that the lobster just didn 't taste good, or wasn 't to my liking. It tasted like poison. Only after getting home, googling and trying to determine whether a trip to the ER was warranted only then did we learn that rancid lobster produces ammonia like chemicals as it putrefies. I consider us both lucky to get out without getting seriously ill. So hey, Donjito, here 's a free piece of advice. When the food goes bad, you 're supposed to throw it away. Poisoning customers is bad for business."

"Made a reservation with a note requesting the patio that faces the Ferry Building. When checking in, was told they could not accommodate the request okay. We were sat down, greeted by our waitress, and was provided water. About 10mins later, our waitress comes back to take our order so we start with drinks some appetizers. About 20mins later we received our appetizers and this is when we started to feel concerned. 10mins later our drinks finally arrived by a server. About 10mins later we get approached by the waitress again asking if we want anything else so we ordered some drinks, more appetizers and extra pita bread that had came with our first round of appetizers. About 15mins later we get a smashburger that we did not order turns out the waitress entered smashburger instead of the 'Strawberry Smash ' cocktail. Rest of our (correct) cocktails and appetizers come by (had to remind them our pita bread was forgotten about) and I immediately request the check in anticipation it will take a long time for that to arrive. Last issue ended up being we were charged for the smashburger we didn 't order (the Strawberry Smash was correctly there though) waitress didn 't correct it. Sens has a great location and ambiance but the service really could use some work..."
