"We had the surf and turf shabu shabu and pork tonkotsu ramen, both for lunch. Quite a portion, esp the Shabu shabu. All ingredients were fresh, it was fun mixing combinations of sauce and condiments and cooking the food as well as eating the resultant broth. Ramen was good too, although the pork portion was a bit skimpy. But very flavorful and tender. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Lunch during the week was quiet and we had very nice servic."

"This Chinese restaurant is one of the best in Metro West, and that's quite an endorsement. They excel at the classics: wonton soup, pork dumplings, egg rolls, and more. However, their more adventurous dishes are also fantastic. The drinks are reasonably priced, with the mai tai being a standout. It's a unique mix crafted by the owner, and I guarantee you won’t be able to stop at just one. The atmosphere is lively, with a friendly group of regulars making it a great place to visit. Be sure to go soon, as it is set to close at the end of December."

"Tried Davis Sushi Fusion for the first time as we live close by. Decent Nigiri Sushi. We ordered miso soup, steamed pot stickers, and Nigiri Combo. Food was fine but this is obviously more of a take out sushi restaurant rather than a dine in. All dishes were served on plastic. Decent food and will have to try other dishes to determine if this will be a go to Sushi restaurant. As of now it might turn out well for take out but will have to give it another try. For dine in it is not there yet. Also, it doesn’t appear they have their liquor license yet. Our hope is that they will evolve to more typical sushi restaurant. We will try it again but not for dine in unless the environment improves."

"It's rare to visit Kapok and find the dining room empty. Nevertheless, the kitchen continues to work tirelessly! The menu is extensive and they can accommodate any request. Kapok never disappoints! I adore this restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking top-notch Asian cuisine."

"How can I return to a restaurant when the service is so terrible? After we ordered our food our server never returned. Someone else brought the food, but no one stopped by to see if we needed anything. We had to flag down another server to order more rice, to have our water glasses filled, to get back the cork for the wine bottle we brought but did not finish, and to ask for the check. (We also filled our own wine glasses, which does not bother me as it's better then their constantly overfilling them, but when I spend $15 corkage at an inexpensive Asian restaurant that has a small, lousy wine list (with no vintages listed anyway I should be getting something for my money. The food we like but there is no point eating it there."

"Nepalese and Chinese fusion? Um, yes please! Will definitely be back to this place if I'm in the area. Was seated immediately, initial service was very attentive, and server explained the menu a bit for me. Ordered the vegetable samosas, great flavor loved the spices, and one of the sauces that came with it. Got chicken mo mo. It was very delicious, not the dish I wanted, but that was my gaff when ordering. Loved the mango yogurt drink, and water was brought in a capped bottle. Food 5/5 all day. Service after I was eating, though, was quite lacking, server only came up one more time and then nothing. I got up and paid at the counter. Might have just been a language barrier."

"I have ordered takeout from this restaurant twice now, and each time has been a great experience. The service is fast and friendly, which is important to me as I have limited time for lunch. I have ordered the Mongolian beef with 3 stars of spiciness both times, but you can choose a higher level of heat if you prefer. I also love their pork sandwich, it's always delicious. I have yet to dine in at the restaurant, but I plan to one day and try something new from their menu."

"The prices are reasonable, but I ordered delivery and was disappointed with the experience. The pho broth arrived in a separate container, while the noodles, vegetables, and meat were packed in a to-go box. Unfortunately, the noodles were very dry when they reached my doorstep, and there were hardly any vegetables included. The broth lacked flavor, tasting only of warm water and being excessively greasy. The additional vegetables were thrown into a sandwich bag, along with the condiments. The egg rolls were passable, but overall, the place felt quite unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend it; it seems like they don't put much effort into making the food decent."
