"The food is premade so you can’t make any changes to it whatsoever. I wanted extra cheese in the chile relleno, couldn’t do it. Just the fish in the ceviche and no shrimp since I’m allergic, couldn’t do it. Everything is already made and they just heat it up. Ridiculous if you ask me. Do not say you’re authentic when all your food is not made to order but made days before. Embarrassing date experience"

"I rate this restaurant two stars because the Margaritas are tasty and fairly priced, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, I couldn't give it a higher rating because I ordered the carnitas and specifically asked for them to be extra crispy, which means I wanted them to be seared on the skillet for a nice crispy exterior. Unfortunately, when my food arrived, it was not crispy at all and didn't look very appetizing. I regularly order this dish at other places and it's always excellent. I didn’t dwell on it too much, though."

"Wow, where should I start? As soon as I entered, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness. The food was served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The prices are quite reasonable given the generous portions. I truly believe this is one of the best restaurants on Georgia Avenue. It's a delightful place for a wonderful dinner with friends and is very family-friendly. They also have a bar and a private area that can be reserved for private dinners or parties. Overall, it's simply outstanding!"

"We arrived at 8, did not receive our drinks until 8:45 only waters. Appetizer s came in around 9:30 and food didn’t arrive till 10pm, the waiter did the best he could but it looked like they were understaffed however I have been to Meso Maya before and every time is the same type of service. Our food was cold so I’m not sure why the wait was long, maybe half of our plates were sitting there while the rest of the food was done."

"So we showed up for our reservation and were told that their internet was out and they didn’t have our reservation and we would have to wait 20-30 minutes. Very rude. Not sorry. There were empty tables. They should have found a hotspot if there was a connection problem. . We left. We won’t be back."

"My date and I waited hours to be seated with reservations and then we were forgotten about once we got to our table not even a glass of water). It's a very nice looking restaurant , but unfortunately their service is very subpar. I understand it was valentine's day and I hope their service isn't that bad on a regular day. Pretty bummed since I was really excited to try this spot out, but luckily there was a Mongolian BBQ spot off Sunset that saved our night ."

"The delivery was prompt, but I was quite disappointed with the food. It seemed poorly prepared. I ordered the birria tacos, and the consomé was incredibly thick and greasy, while the tacos themselves were also fatty. It felt like I was eating a greasy ball of fat, and I couldn't finish it. Perhaps the dish is better when served in the restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend ordering it for delivery. I hope my next experience is better."

"Mr. Tequila’s Cantina Grill in Indianapolis is a great restaurant with beautiful decoration and a lovely bar and seating area. The enchiladas were the standout dish for me, while the refried black beans were also fantastic. The margaritas were just okay. The staff, while friendly, struggled to answer some of our questions due to English being their second language. Despite this, I would definitely go back for the food and atmosphere. Overall, I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The restaurant had a nice mix of customers, including locals and office workers coming in for lunch. The live music and shows added to the ambiance. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, but the queso dip was watery and disappointing. The enchiladas rancheras were delicious, with perfectly marinated grilled chicken and flavorful black beans. The hard shell tacos and margaritas were decent, though the service could have been more knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, a good experience and I would return for another meal."

"We had a great meal and went back for dinner a second time. The choices are excellent and you definitely get plenty of really great food. There were only 2 of us although it appeared that they were great at accommodating large groups as well. The service was quick and efficient with friendly staff throughout. We were seated quickly and a server was there to take our drink order shortly. The chips and salsa were excellent and I like that they serve you an individual bowl of salsa. Definitely would return and try other items on the menu. The pork chop was amazing."

"I visited here for a late lunch. Very friendly and fast service. The outside doesn't represent the inside so well. The inside is very nice. The starter chips were warm which I like. I had the taco salad with beef. It's difficult to review a taco salad which just has a few toppings tossed in a crispy bowl The outer shell was really good. Everything was good and the beef had a good seasoned flavor. I'll return some time and try some other items. Everything from service to food was very good."

The food was served inconsistently, with two out of six people in our party receiving their meals only after the rest of us had already finished eating. "We recently enjoyed a delightful brunch at Hugo’s restaurant. Despite not having a reservation, our wait time on a busy Sunday was only about 40 minutes, which was quite reasonable. "My boyfriend and I decided to have a late lunch around 2 PM on a Sunday. Ramiro did a fantastic job greeting every customer that entered the restaurant and taking care of everyone's orders and needs. He was the only server on the floor, managing 8-9 tables at once. He was multitasking by bartending, taking orders, and clearing tables. There was another employee whose name I didn't catch, who was also friendly and assisting with various tasks. The guacamole was fresh, and the food was delicious with generous portions at reasonable prices. Overall, excellent food, service, and value."
