"I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times and it has always been excellent, particularly the meats and cheese plates as appetizers. However, on this occasion, the meats were sliced too thickly and the Gouda was hard and dry. The pizza was still great, but the lamb pasta was too salty and lacking in flavor. It was probably just an off night, but I will give this place another chance since it is usually very good."

"Was with some friends at the nearby motel and we needed a restaurant open in the later hours, and Charlie's was very ideal, being just across the street, so we paid a visit. Excellent atmosphere with that somewhat darker interior that befit the place, but very warm and welcoming in the staff and the service providers. I selected the cheese tortellini with pesto cream. It was a most appetising fare, and the bread sticks were hot and fresh, perfect for the leftover sauce on my plate. Many thanks to the chefs and other staff for a pleasant dining experience. Best wishes, success and prosperity to Charlie's and all the employees."

"Must have been an off night. We have had several fine meals there but this time was disappointing. It started with the walk in the front door. The hostess just ignored us while she worked on the computer. No greeting or I need a minute to fix this. Plus two other people stood beside her and ignored us as well. Then they took us to a table that was in full sun which we said we couldn't sit at. So to punish us they took to a poorly placed table inside next to a large group. When the waiter poured the champaign we ordered, he seriously overflowed the glass, said he would return to clean it up but that was the last we saw of him. The food was tasty but by then the evening was ruined. I guess they have enough business they no longer care about providing a top-notch experience. It will be a while before we try this place again."

"I ordered delivery from here and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. I ordered the Chicken Parm. I have NEVER IN NY LIFE seen that entree priced so high- it cost me $45 on Doordash. I thought it was just the delivery service gouging me until I went to the website and found it was $42 on there. So not a huge markup. Just expensive af for no good reason. When it arrived, I was extremely disappointed. The portion was huge, but it didn 't have ANY flavor. A huge portion of not delicious is not encouraging. It tasted like it truly had no seasoning. Also, the pasta aglio e olio that came with it had less than no flavor. It literally tasted like noodles dunked in canola oil. I tried to chalk it up to Maybe it doesn 't travel well until I talked with family members, who had an ENTIRE WEDDING REHEARSAL DINNER at the brick and mortar location, and they all said their food was tasteless as well. So expensive and so unfortunate. This was truly a waste of money."

"I brought several important clients from out of town to Jax for dinner, and we had a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional, the service outstanding, and while the prices were on the higher side, it was well worth it. The atmosphere was lively and a bit noisy, which suited the crowd perfectly. We kicked off our meal with a selection of fresh oysters that were delightful, and for the main courses, we mostly chose fresh fish, which impressed everyone at the table. We were too stuffed for dessert, so I can't provide any feedback on that. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"okay, so in the second night in the row to dinning. again eating was excellent service not so. in the night before the valentinstag found the computer system down and the server had to take the orders with pad and pencil. how difficult was that? should not be that I grew up in the restaurant, not so difficult to order with pad and pencel. Now, tonight was the computer up and didn't run so much the service. we arrived before several other tables and yet they got the service of bread and water before us. We finally brought our waiter to pick up our drinks, ask for bread and he took our order. we plan on getting rid of it, so we first ordered appetizers. never seen the waiter again and when we did, he came with a dessert menu! this restaurant has won dinning awards, but I guess it is for eating because the service is lmao. we were in town for the jazz weekender in the quail lodge. we were in the same quail lodge last year. service was excellent. not so in this year. this is my hometown and it was disappointing to say that the quality of the service has only fallen fair. I said I would recommend to a friend as yes, as there is no maybe, but I will warn them that the service is completely missing."

"After struggling for an hour to find a restaurant for Valentine's Day, as I am from out of town, I was finally able to secure a table here. However, when I arrived, I discovered that the restaurant was closed. This was disappointing, as now there were no available options that were not already fully booked. Please remove closed restaurants from your website."

"We got home and just didn't feel like cooking dinner ourselves. It is so wonderful that we have this collection of urban eateries down the street on Ocean Park Blvd. Il Forno is the best of the lot a vibrant, friendly neighborhood gem, walking distance from our home. The owners and wait staff greet us like family (yes, they do know us) and we get seated promptly. They always take care of us but we watch them catering to everyone with the same warm care and concern. We never tire of Il Forno they always have specials that aren't on the menu. Chef Domenico is a genius at preparing food in a custom sort of way. I know that if I asked him to make a dish in some off the menu sort of way, he'd do it. Il Forno rocks!"

"My friend and I have been to their other sister restaurant before and it’s delicious. This place is easy to find, right on the corner in a cute building with flowers around it. We booked a reservation ahead of time on open table. We walked in to our reservation at 6:30 and we were seated right away. The ambiance is relaxed, but so cute we felt like we were in Italy! Our server Alberto was phenomenal, attentive, friendly, and happy to serve us. The Burrata appetizer was tasty, I just wish there was a larger portion of the Burrata. I had the chicken limoncello (gluten free with potatoes and it was so decadent. The chicken was tender and the lemon sauce complimented perfectly. The potatoes were to die for, so crunchy! My friend had the short rib pasta and we scraped the bowl clean. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough! I actually left my credit card and they called to return it to me the following day. I’m so grateful for their excellent attention to detail. Their drinks are strong, be warned! I ordered the sunset drink and my friend opted for a dirty martini, these were some serious contenders! Well worth the price. First and foremost thank you to Alberto, he is phenomenal and really deserves to be recognized as an outstanding server. He went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I had the most pleasant experience. I made a reservation off open table for Friday night at 6:30pm, and I would recommend you do the same! Their sister restaurant up the street is so great so we wanted to try this new one out. Located on a corner with a wooden front of house and flowers lining the outdoor patio seating it’s gorgeous. My friend and I opted for a dirty martini and their sunset drink (they were both super strong! you get your bang for your buck here. We ordered the Burrata appetizer and it was light and delicious, I just wish it had come with a large portion of Burrata. I had the chicken lemon and it comes with perfectly crispy"

"My wife and I went to this restaurant for a pleasant dinner. The ambiance was nice, with a seafood-themed decor. When we asked the waiter for a recommendation on the best-selling sushi roll, he proceeded to list off about half of the menu before we settled on the fire dragon roll. Unfortunately, the presentation was underwhelming as the server lit the plate on fire without placing it on the table for a photo opportunity. The roll itself was disappointing, with an overpowering cream cheese flavor and a mushy consistency. The main courses of crab cakes and seafood pasta were average - the pasta was overcooked but included a generous amount of seafood, while the crab cakes were decent. The highlight of our meal was the creme brulee dessert, which was delicious. Overall, our experience was mediocre at best. The service was lacking in attentiveness, the sushi was poor, and the dessert stood out as the best part of the meal. Given the $100 price tag, we expected higher quality."

"I have been to the Black Cow many times and have enjoyed it thoroughly. The food is good and the atmosphere is lots of fun The hostess seated me and an out of town friend on the upper level. Only one other table that was occupied and this seating area totally lacked the vibe of the first floor level. I wish that the hostess and asked us where we would like to be seated. This was not the Black Cow experience I expected to treat my friend"

"WOW! We were in the area visiting from out of town and didn't have much expectation. We loved the fantastic fresh farm to table food combined with the finest collection of whiskeys from around the globe. It totally makes this my new favorite restaurant! The daily soup was a delicious fresh pea soup. It was creamy and delicious- not boring. The steaks just awesome and served perfectly. There are multiple options for non beef consumers. Everything is delicious and original. I love this restaurant and can't wait to come back!"

"Extensive bourbon list and good wine list We decided not to have an appetizer as I had read about the excellent desserts! Bread came out with a soft, herb cheese which was unexpected and delicious. I had the duck risotto which was AMAZING! It wasn’t too big and the mixture of duck, brussel sprouts and dried fruit really worked well. My husband had the veal meatballs which he enjoyed eating very much. We shared a salted caramel cheesecake and had coffee and bourbon. Overall the food was excellent, good quality ingredients and tasty. Wine was good and the service was extremely friendly and helpful. We hear that the restaurant is closing at the end of this year and are sad that we won’t get the chance to go back. Thanks for a great meal."
"we had a reservation inside for 16, the day of i got a notice it was changed to 20 people, no one had access so they did it and moved us outside, The road noise was horrible but we discovered inside had no ac it was warm and too loud music. They food was good Alex the server was first class and outside was not so bad after all, its a neighborhood Italian with a bit more on the menu. The pizza was very good with a great crust"

"Many Hotel restaurants are poor. They have a captive audience so they don't have to try very hard. This one is not in that category. I travel to Northern NJ frequently and this is my go to place anywhere near Teaneck/ Hackensack area. The menu is a combination of modern Italian with a few traditional items. The service is always fantastic.(Thank you Leotilde and Felicia) this is one of the top restaurants in the area."

"My wife and I have returned multiple times in the last week's since we've discovered Piatti's and the homemade pastas. Needless to say, the food was amazing. It was our first dinner experience at this establishment. However, service was ehh, while our waitress was super friendly she wasn't very attentive, so we felt obligated to order everything we wanted at once, once she arrived back to our table as we weren't sure when she'd return. We observed the table next to us from when they were seated and the time they got up to walk out without ordering. In all, food was delicious."

"The food itself was mediocre at best. I ordered the purple potatoes(bland but dipped in ranch you can’t go wrong with potatoes), wedge burger(dry), lobster Mac cheese(was ok, not spectacular). Not worth the price hype. I could say my expectations were high, I really thought the food would wow me. But the ahi nachos up the street from Roof Top Lounge were 100000000% better than all of those items. I ordered the chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everyone RAVED over it. Unfortunately, it fell short as well. It was my least favorite. When I poured the sauce on, there were chunks. The flavor was bland. BUT the staff were kind. So I’d give staff 5/5 stars, the food 2/5. I stayed above the restaurant, was here for 3 days. Hoping to have a better turn out next time I stay eat here. The free bread butter were very good. 5/5 on that."

"Giorgio's is one of my trusted and true Hollywood Beach restaurants. It has a menu that covers every meal of the day. It also has menu items that will appeal to most all ages. The servers are always friendly, but they have a very casual approach to serving. There's a case filled with freshly baked goods and you can't go wrong with any selection. The food is fresh and the ingredients are quality. They have the biggest, most buttery croissants! They make for a wonderful sandwich, breakfast or lunch. I always order one with sausage egg and cheese for breakfast, hot ham and cheese for lunch. The sandwich is honestly large enough for 2 people or 2 meals, so you could share or have enough for lunch! The Harvest Salad is a beautiful array of colors, textures and flavors perfect for a quick bite, on a hot Florida day. Lastly the view. Wow! I could sit and watch the Intercoastal traffic cruise by, while sipping on a sangria... All day long."

"My wife and I went for the first time since they renovated the restaurant, love the new look but the food quality is has is surprisingly really bad for a steakhouse. We used to always go for dinner and used the love the high quality ingredients and food. For species, we ordered mini beef Wellington and crab cakes. Beef Wellington was way over cooked and very chewy with very little flavor. Crab cakes used to very good, what ever changes they made, it’s also lacking in flavor. For entrees, my wife ordered grilled salmon salad. This was a terribly cooked salmon with again no flavor at all. Salmon was obviously frozen, very easy to tell by the texture and taste. I ordered a filet mignon that again had zero flavor or seasoning. The mashed potatoes and asparagus also has virtually no seasoning or flavor. Mashed potatoes also tasted frozen. Steak was so bad that I struggled to finish it. This was cooked medium rare, at least they got that part right. We used to like this restaurant, but after this experience and $150 for two people, it’s safe to say that we would never go back again. For a steakhouse that’s been around for over 75 years, lowering your food quality is something people will notice and not sustainable. People expect fresh ingredients, not frozen, and we’ll seasoned food with flavor. Highly recommend to pass this place by"
