"We stayed at the lodge for my husband's birthday and had an enjoyable dinner during our first night, but unfortunately, everything fell flat on his birthday night. I ordered a salad, only to be informed after placing my order that they had run out of spinach, so I opted for the two-piece halibut and chips instead. It was nothing special. My husband ordered an Italian Grinder, which came with just two slices of cold meat, some lettuce, and a tomato. For $15, I told the waitress to take it back. The manager had the audacity to ask what the issue was, which wasn't the best way to handle a customer who had received subpar food. We had to negotiate for some kind of compensation, and in the end, he offered my husband a brownie. The only redeeming aspect of the evening was our waitress, who was pleasant. In hindsight, we should have left and gone to the Café, which has a far superior menu. We won’t be dining here again."
