"We had a wonderful time. Upon arrival, our temperatures were checked and hands sprayed with sanitizer by a nice warm staff member to address covid-19 precautions. The food was great and we ended up overeating, because we tried to sample different types of food. The service was amazing; Maria S. And her helper did a great job taking care of us. We really liked the burrattta appetizer and the lemon caper sauce on halibut. We will be back!"

The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. The authentic Italian cuisine has a unique twist. The Caesar salad was delicious and the ravioli was cooked perfectly.

This is a wonderful Del Mar neighborhood Italian trattoria. The food was wonderful, baked seafood with shrimp, scallops and lobster and short rib ravioli. Nice selections of Italian wines as well. Definitely one of our couple of favorite restaurants in the Del Mar area.

Delicious meal, and a safe dining experience in the age of Covid-19. The owners have installed private enclosures for 5 tables on the balcony. The design is open enough that you don't feel closed in. This was our first dine-in experience since early March, and we really enjoyed it. View menu

We had a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Trattoria Ponte Vecchio. The food was delicious, well-prepared, served hot and quickly. Our server was friendly, helpful, and even a little funny. The owner came by to check on us, a very friendly and personable man. This restaurant is our favorite spot for special occasions and to treat our friends to a fantastic meal.

We normally love the food here. This night was terrible. Cold pasta and cold chicken piccata—they heated it but pasta was still cool and chicken was so tough I could not cut it with a serrated knife. We had taken friends who had never been there before, and we had said how good it was, so it was particularly disappointing. They presented a gratis dessert, but that didn’t make up for the lousy dinner.
