"The super beef ordered because I wanted the onion roll and it was HUGE. Fantastic with the BBQ sauce, but next time I think I'm able to live with the big one (not say I didn't eat it all, but I have breathed hard for a while). They have good, thin, crispy pommes (another massive part) that, as far as I'm concerned, are the perfect pairing to a good roast beef sandwich. I can't wait to go back. Delicious and staff was very friendly. The parking lot can be a bit of pain as it is directly at the light on the main road, but hey, at least they have a parking lot."

"Let me first start of by saying the price gauging from the actual cost to the prices on the sign is ridiculous. But if the food was good you wouldn't mind paying. $36.00 for a wrap, a sub, and 2 sodas is highway robbery. The steak and cheese that was ordered was supposed to be toasted with extra cheese, mayo and light hots. What was received was a dry hardened brick with no mayo, no hots and looked like a brick you would throw into to the fireplace or a stick that you would throw at your dog to play fetch....but honestly even the dog wouldn't want it. The wrap that was ordered was a Greek wrap with grilled chicken, extra dressing and no peppers. I didn't mind picking my peppers out of the wrap but the chicken must have been cooked yesterday because it was tougher than the price I had to pay for it. I'll just stop here and not go into the cleanliness of the establishment but if you want to be overcharged for poor quality at a less than desirable atmosphere then your a glutton for punishment. This place came highly recommended. But this is definitely a one and done for me."

"There was an Extremely Rude and Disrespectful Front of the House Manager named Chris!My family and I ordered our food, and when my meal came back stuffed shrimp with crab meat it was not hot! I immediately called the waitress and explained to her the food was not hot, and I wanted my meal hot. After 23 minutes or so my food still did not come out, so I asked the waitress to please get the manager. When the female manager walked up to the table she immediately starting talking and never gave me a chance to say anything! She said , We are so busy right now She stated that the plate was hot and she put her finger in the food I told her the plate may have been hot, but the food was not hot! She kept on talking and never gave me a chance to explain that I wanted hot food. Every time I began to speak, Chris would cut me off ! I explained to Chris that if the food is not picked up on time, it gets cold after sitting there and walking through the restaurant. The manager was disrespectful and not accommodating! By this time my family had already finished their meal and I told the manager I was not able to eat with my family. She loudly said, So what do you want me to do cancel the order I said yes. On the way out we asked the front desk person for the name of the owner and tried to explain to her how rude and disrespectful the manager had been. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 4 years and had never been treated this way! While we were talking to the front desk person, Chris butts in and starting interfering in our conversation. We asked for the owner's name and she told us it was Jerry Sullivan. She remained yelling at us and told us to leave and that this is not Burger King you cannot have it your way! It was so rude and disrespectful until another customer started video taping this incident! We have this incident on tape and the Front House manager rudely talking about Burger King! I am extremely dissatisfied with the way Chris the manager treated me and my family! We will never return here again, because of the humiliating experience we had with the front house manager named Chris! She was cruel, rude and inconsiderate! I sent for the manager to speak to her and she did not allow me to speak, but came straight to the table and starting talking. I sent for her, she should have at least given me the opportunity to express myself with my concerns. It was a horrible experience and I was never able to eat with my family! They had finished their meal and my meal still had not come out! Chris was very insulting to me and my family! "the evening in the bar cost this renovation. bridetrip the bunless burger and was very satisfied. burger was cooked only medium size, as desired and the paprika and tweepers were perfect, the speck was super and chedar cheese topped it wonderful. a side zeasarsalate (included) was large enough to share with good taste. I enjoyed the garnel mozzerella, the tweeled, sun-dried tamatoen, artichoke. hearts wiith grilled garnels under melted mozzerella over pene pasta. it was great. the service was good until the time to calculate if the waitress who hired, served drinks and delivered dinner would not return. "A few days ago, my daughter and I returned to Max, and the food was, as always, excellent. However, I was disappointed to see that two employees, including our waitress, were not wearing masks at all. Even though the waitress noticed that we were wearing masks—except when eating—she still didn't take it into account when she came to our table. My daughter asked me not to say anything about it, and I respected her wish. It’s disheartening that COVID-19 precautions are not being taken seriously at Max’s."

"I have seen so many advertisements on Facebook and just never took the drive. So glad we did and sad we didn't go sooner. Everyone was super nice. The girls were hustling. Our server was Tiffany and she was AMAZING! So kind, very informative and attentive. Kudos to the kitchen! The food was the best I've had in a while. For years we have drove to Crystal River for crab legs but these were actually better! I was shocked. My friend had the the pick 2 with the friend shrimp and haddock with homemade onion rings and coleslaw. She loved it! Keep up the great work, we will be back!!! Parking: It's on a small plaza and we were there on a Saturday night so parking was fine."

"The corned beef hash was great. It’s not the canned version that is mushy, overly salted, wet, and cut with added fat. It’s scratch cooked and great. I saw a review that said it was burned and dry. It’s not going to be wet like the canned version that’s for sure. Not sure how that one review said the potatoes were burned and the onions rawI cook for a living and believe me onions burn a lot faster than potatoes on a flat top. Seems like that reviewer was talking out their you-know-what. The sunny side up eggs were prepared correctly and the side of French toast was well executed. The coffee is high qualitynot the regular Folgers that most diners serve. It was one of the better breakfast plates I’ve had in a while. I come from the pretentious tourist trap in Saratoga Springs, and I wish toga had a diner this good. This place knows how to make breakfast."

"I visited this restaurant for the second time in just three days. I was initially hesitant to order fish at a place known for bratwurst, but the fish plate I had on Friday night was fantastic. Since I was working nearby tonight, I decided to try the squid, both the bottoms and the rings. Once again, it was a wonderful meal, and the fish portion was larger than expected, leaving me completely satisfied. The service was excellent as well. The woman at the counter was polite and helpful; she would excel as an expeditor in a high-end restaurant. Overall, a great experience!"

"The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! I began with the Buffalo Chicken Tenders as an appetizer, followed by the Cajun Swordfish with Rice Pilaf and Cole Slaw for my main course. For dessert, I had the NY Style Cheesecake with strawberries, which came in a large slice that was even bigger than the slice at the Cheesecake Factory. I couldn't finish it all! The restaurant offers wifi and has plenty of parking spaces. Masks and reservations are required for indoor seating. Despite my server having hiccups, everyone was entertaining and I highly recommend paying them a visit."

"There was an overwhelming amount of fried food! I understand that this area is known for that kind of cuisine, but it's just excessive for any menu. I ordered fish tacos and received one large hard taco that looked more like a burrito filled with fried cod. It wasn't bad; it just wasn't what I had pictured – I expected three fish tacos on corn tortillas with the usual toppings. My husband ordered the fisherman’s platter, and it was also overloaded with fried items; literally everything on the plate was fried. To be honest, I can't see myself returning here."

"I took some friends from Florida out to lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the jumbo lobster roll for $25.99, but it was far from jumbo. After all, how much can you really fit into a small hot dog bun? The clam roll, priced at $14.99, was served in a similarly small bun and had just five tiny clams in it. The order of onion rings for $7.29 was also disappointing; it was a small portion of overcooked, crumbly rings that weren’t even batter-dipped like we had hoped. To top it off, bottled water cost $1.99 each. It seems like the place makes a lot of money during the summer by taking advantage of tourists and visitors, which is likely why it doesn’t remain open in the winter."

"I worked part-time at this restaurant while living in New York for a year. It was a fun experience being the only male server. They have the best donuts in the world. I would fly back from the south just to have a donut and coffee from here. I miss my coworkers, but I miss the guests the most. This place made me feel like I was back in my small hometown.
