"When she brought us the bread, she dropped one piece on the floor and nonchalantly said, “Sorry, I dropped one, we don’t have any more.” After that, when we asked for a soda and requested ice, she rudely informed us that they had no ice.
We then placed our food order, which included a family pack of vegetables, fried chicken, and pork ribs. However, what we received was incorrect: we ordered beef ribs, but all we got were pork ribs. I kindly explained to her that I specifically ordered beef for my wife, but she responded with an attitude, saying I hadn’t mentioned beef. My wife had clearly stated “beef” in both English and Spanish (“de res”).
She offered to place another order but said we would have to wait. I insisted on just changing one order since it was their mistake. Eventually, she said she couldn’t do that. My wife and the others at our table were very disappointed with the service.
Typically, we enjoy dining here; we’ve had good experiences with other staff, especially the Brazilian women who are always polite and attentive. However, this server, who I suspect is from Central or South America, was not only unfriendly but also unhelpful. I believe the manager needs to address this issue, or they risk losing customers.
I have nothing against anyone from Central or South America; it was purely about this particular server’s attitude. Our food was fine; there were no complaints about the kitchen, but the service really left a sour taste."
