"My husband and I took some clients for a business dinner as they have never been here before. Mind you this bill totaled $600 at the end of our meal. Certainly not cheap for a strip mall location. We were NOT down on 5th Avenue or 3rd Street but we knew that going in. We wanted to take them someplace they’ve never been. We all ordered steaks one well-done, one medium well, and two medium. Thinking this is a Steakhouse, we assumed that they could do the temperatures to our liking and get them right. That was not the case. Another person brought our meals so he had no idea which ones went to which people which I thought was ridiculous. We had to sit there and tell him where to put each plate. We were told they came with mashed potatoes but instead they had some kind of potato wedges. My one guest said “Where’s my mashed potatoes?” and the waitress said “oh we were out of them”, but never asked us if we wanted a replacement of something different before she brought out what she did. My steak tasted like sawdust I couldn’t even cut it. The waitress came by and seemed angry that I wanted to send it back. I would have just said don’t make me another one but I was really looking forward to a good steak. Considering the steak is $75 I would think that it would’ve been right in the first place? They brought the steak back for a second time and it was rare. Almost **** rate, the manager stood over me while I cut it and I said that he could just take it back because the other three people had already almost finished their meal at this point.Gaga was our waitress, and she seemed very annoyed the whole time. My husband wanting to be taken care of gave her a $20 bill from the start. We never got an apology on our steaks and they had left it on the bill. She came over and brought us one piece of Tiramisu for the four of us to share which I guess she thought would make up for the $75 steak.Definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone and I think their prices are out of line. I’m happy to pay for a good steak but with that kind of treatment and service it won’t be here. Very sad that a manager doesn’t even compensate someone back or even apologize."

"The food was rather mediocre, however, the service was extraordinary! Arturo, the server, made the evening wonderful and provided a suburb experience. Additionally, the view was great- stories in the Dallas skyline makes for a special view. I wish I was able to say the food was more appealing, however, if you are a foodie I would encourage another dining establishment"

"while we decided on holiday to try this new upsacle restaurant. we were treated royally by chef shimon. we ordered our meal and came a complementary breadboard with the most amazing fresh focaccia and dives for us to enjoy while our meal was prepared. our meal was great! the ambiente was trendy and relaxing. dessert was also in the house. what a beautiful surprise. Do not miss them, try this restaurant soon!"

"Loved the service and the attention the staff paid to my food allergies they brought out the chef to make sure no mistakes were made and I appreciated that! One weird thing was that I wanted to order the Chef's special and was told they were out of it.... then as I was finishing my absolutely delicious second choice, I heard a waiter serving the special to a nearby table.... wasn't sure what to make of that."

"I brought a group of 18 to lunch at Carrie Nation yesterday. It was a great meal/event! We sat at the high top 'chef 's table ', and it was great to all be gathered around one nice table. Everyone was very happy with their food and drinks. But what I must commend the most was the fantastic service. Elaine was our server...maybe some others were helping, but she had our large group served impeccably. I did not hear one complaint from anyone in the group, and all were very happy with the entire experience. Doing great, Carrie Nation!!!!!"

"Amazing location and great style. We have stayed at this property 3 summers in a row essentially since they opened (we were literally the first guests in one of their family suites). We keep coming back because of the great location and style/feel of the property we love the courtyard with the lawn games and the vibe and style of the property. We wish there was SOME acknowledgement of our loyalty (even just a welcome back would be nice. We also booked two back to back single night stays (which was less expensive for some reason than a 2 night stay). We made sure to let them know about this before we arrived via phone and then again upon check in. We were assured that it would be noted in our room reservation so we wouldn 't have to check in and then check out. Nonetheless, we got a call with attitude after the first night asking why all of our belongings remained in the room after check out. When we reminded them that we were staying another night they apologized and noted it hadn 't been in the records. Frustrating since we had been assured otherwise and made great efforts to remind everyone AND we have been loyal guests for several years."
