"We held a baby shower here recently and it was a wonderful event. The Inn is so beautiful, and our guests were very pleased with the delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. The staff were accommodating and kind so very helpful. We were a good size crowd with several babies in the mix, and the chef surprised us with mac and cheese for the little ones. The adult menu was able to be gluten free which was a must for our group. We had home made ice cream sundaes for dessert which were amazing! The fact that a group of almost 40 could have an entire wing to ourselves made the party a smashing success. Of all the facilities I toured for this event, EFI was the most reasonably priced AND the most beautiful setting."

"First time at Sugar factory with family from out of town. It seemed fairly slow when we arrived for our 6pm reservation for party of 6 but started picking up right after. We were seated immediately but sat a bit before our waiter, a pleasant young man, greeted us. We were given menus. Our appetizer was delivered but we had to ask for plates, napkins and silverware. We finished that, and asked for more waters and one soda that never came out. The hostess walked by and asked how everything was because she thought we were finished but we hadn't received our food or the water. She said she would get more water. Our server had several tables plus a large table of about 12 that seemed to consume all his time. She said she would get more water for us and left. She and the waiter came back about 5-10 minutes later both with water pitchers and the soda. Staff seemed rattled and we saw many customers sitting and waiting for food, bills, etc. The food finally came out and I was skeptical that it would be cold but the fish and chips was wonderful. We all enjoyed the food, once we got it! It appeared they were short staffed (who isn't these days) and that was very unfortunate. If I went again, I would choose to sit at the bar where you can get happy hour drinks and maybe a bit more attention!"

"The establishment was beautifully decorated and very exciting to walk into. We arrived early for our 5pm reservation by 25 minutes and the hosts graciously offered to sit us immediately. We were celebrating our oldest daughter’s 9th birthday, we planned to get apps, milkshakes, dinner and some alcoholic beverages. Our waitress clearly had a large section of tables to care for which I believed took away from the experience. When she greeted us, she came over with waters and asked what we would like for drinks/ apps. As it was my daughter’s birthday we allowed the kids to order milkshakes to start before dinner and we ordered Mac cheese pops, rainbow sliders. The Mac cheese pops were the highlight of our experience, they were exact copy cats of the Cheesecake Factory ones, 10/10. The rainbow sliders were not edible. The buns were hard and it seemed they had been sitting around a while, the burger itself was chewy. My daughter ordered the fried Oreo milkshake. She loved the appearance and definitely gave her the ooooo-ahhh effect we were going for. She said the milkshake was very yummy. Some of the topping included were fried Oreos, and pancakes. The pancakes were burnt/ very charred on one side. It took about 20 minutes for the apps to come out but it took close to 40-45 minutes for the milkshakes. Normally, we don’t mind waiting however we did not see our server during this entire time. She took the drink/app order, other staff dropped off the food, so the next time we saw her she brought the bar Drinks one milkshake, immediately left to go get the other milkshake. So after all this time, when she brought the last shake we told her about the sliders,she did offer new ones but at this point she hadn’t even taken our dinner order and we have been then for over hour. We ended up making the decision to bring our kids to a different restaurant for dinner because of how the experience was going. So after leaving Sugar Factory with empty stomachs we went to HardRock."

"Great food, great drinks great service as I’ve become accustomed to at Nicholas Barrel Roost. The only complaint I have is, this is the second time I’ve been there where there have been lots of gnats flying around the tables. I saw other tables swatting at the too so it’s not the food or the sweets but just their presence. I’ve been in the restaurant business in the past and have seen other kitchens that weren’t managed properly from a taking care of the trash and keeping the drains clean in the sinks as examples and I’m starting to get concerned and even grossed out a bit. This needs to be taken care of so people don’t assume it’s a cleanliness issue. Otherwise a great dinning experience overall and highly recommended."

"I made reservations for my son's 11th birthday by calling the restaurant directly and speaking with an employee. We traveled from out of state to attend, but when we arrived, we were surprised to find a sign that said "Temporarily Closed." Despite trying to contact the restaurant multiple times and checking their website and social media pages, we received no explanation for the closure. This left us frustrated, annoyed, and disappointed, especially since it ruined my son's birthday plans. We had to quickly find another dining option for our party of 5. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. They should have informed us of their closure before we made the trip. When I tried to call their headquarters to complain, the number was not in service. What a disappointment. Do not recommend."

"The hosts were very rude and not accommodating at all. They kept insisting that I was far from the entrance, which was quite exaggerated. I had made a reservation for 9 people and requested 2 extra chairs for the children. Instead, they seated us at a table that only accommodated 8 people and asked us to wait for 2 more guests. I explained that this was not sufficient for our party of 9 as I had originally reserved. I understand it was a busy night, but their attitude was disappointing. I frequently visit this restaurant and usually bring a large group with me. However, I think I will be staying away until there is a change in their staff's attitude."

"When we arrived they put the 6 of us in a room by ourselves at a nice round table...very nice. A man came over with an apron on and started filling our water. I said Are You Our Server he replied I have an apron on, why do people always ask me if I am their server . Well, where I come from, and in GREAT restaurants THE SERVER, will introduce themselves right away. Most of the BETTER restaurants have people that fill water and bring bread etc. (Ruths Chris, Capital Grill, Eddie V 's). I then asked him his name...he said my name in SING...he then asked us if we wanted some cocktails and if the ladies wanted to get drunk.....yes that what he said...I would not lie. He was about as far from professional as you can get. We ordered our food...Bread was brought to the table...it was terrible...I asked SING if people like this bread and he said not really but the chef does.....wow what a response! We ordered food, 1 ordered Pork Chops and said they were very good, 4 of us ordered filets...1 6oz and 3 8oz... They were all very marginal in taste...truly marginal...I have had better at Texas Roadhouse thats how marginal. 1 of us ordered scallops...not good.. We ordered 2 creamed spinach sides.....NOT A DROP OF CREAM......dried up as can be...The garlic mashed were very garlic filled, the augratin were good...My buddy ordered a house cab, Sing said dont get it I have one from Caymus family thats just a little more....House is $14...his was $20...I do not call $6 a little more. Quite honestly, maybe because it 's off season and the regular staff/chef wasn 't here, but I just dont know why ANYONE would rate this place more than a 4 out of 10..... If you read my reviews, I call them as I see them....If you are great, I review you great, If you are lousy....well then you get what you deserve."

"Today we had the worst fish of the day special. The fish was very dry and the coliflower burned. I did promise my wife that I wasn't not going to make a scene. I wonder if the chefs or manager even taste what comes out of the kitchen. We drove over 1hr to our favorite place to have the calamari and a good meal so our waitress suggested the Mahi Mahi special. After waiting for almost 1hr she came back and apologized for the delay and said that she had sent our meal back because the coliflower looked overcooked but when we have received it didn't looked any better. We were hungry and tired of waiting so I didn't sent it back. Now I regret it. It was a big disappointment that one of our favorite place had such a bad dish. If the waitress has first told me that the dish didn't look rigth why did she still serve it to my wife and I. Very disappointed."

"Spoons an excellent Dairy restaurant. My father took me here a few times the 1st time the food was waaaaay 2 hot so from then on my father ordered ahead of time so the food wouldn't b boiling. They also have a separate room 4 events like Sheva Brachos or other events. Back in the days Danny Bleaich was the manager Danny is a veeeeeeery special friendly person. Out waiter was Elazar who was also veeeeeeery professional. If u love Dairy food want excellent service I'd highly recommend try out spoons. I'd definitely wanna come here again in the future. My review is baesd on my experience 2007."

"Pleasantly greeted. Table was ready for our group of 8 in short order. Very accommodating for handicapped member of our party. Initial contact with server was pleasant. However follow-up service, specifically: all rolls were consumed and server volunteered to bring more, but did not deliver to table until all entrees were eaten. There was no follow-up to see how the meals were and everyone agreed food was just mediocre. However, on the plus side, server was willing to individualize the checks and was very gracious. Very clean, neat, and great views, we even had a rainbow!"

"We had a terrible experience . Someone in our party was allergic to eggs . We specifically mentioned it to the server as well as reiterated a few times to make sure that eggs were not an ingredient in the meal ordered. We were reassured that the items ordered by the person did not contain eggs. Unfortunately, after the person with the allergy consumed the salad dressing immediately they felt ill and knew there was an issue . We asked the server again, this time he doubled check and sure enough he made the mistake of assuming the salad dressing did not have the allergen. As a result, we had to cut our dinner short and get medical attention . Fortunately the person did not have a severe reaction but they were sick for the rest of the evening . This terrible mistake ruined our evening . To add insult to injury the server never came back after admitting his mistake and after rushing to try to get medical attention we were still charged for the dinner except for the meal that made the person sick . In summary , if you have anyone with food allergies , stay away from this establishment"

"The food was nasty. We was basically ignored for like almost 30 minutes until we were asked for our order on top of that the seat they placed me was completely wet and had to used the rolled up napkin they had on the table to clean it up because once again we was ignored. "I went to this restaurant on Mother's Day. The service was terrible. One of the dishes we ordered was not edible. They still charged us for the food we sent back. In addition, other items on our bill were priced higher than what was listed on the menu. When we brought this issue to the manager, he appeared confused, became impatient with us, and ultimately did not adjust the bill to match the menu prices. The noise level in the restaurant was incredibly loud. I will not be returning to this establishment."

"This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were a little afraid to try a new restaurant on New Year 's Eve but we were pleasantly surprised by this new gem! My husband started with the shrimp cocktail which were huge and delicious. I had the salad which was very good. The filet and the duck entrees were recommended by our waiter and perfectly cooked and flavorful. The food tasted 'clean '. As flavorful as it was we didn 't feel like anything was soaked in butter/oil or over salted or unhealthy in any way which is unique to find in restaurants these days. We love that this is a BYOB! Our waiter was very attentive and refilled our wine glasses which was a nice touch! My only complaint was that they brought the bread out after I ate my salad and when I asked for oil or butter for the bread, he never brought it to our table. Overall, though, we had an excellent dinner and we will definitely be back soon!!!"
