"When we asked for a good place to eat on our trip up from Ohio, someone said You can 't go wrong with Monroe Grill! And WOW truly we were blown away. Our waitress was so friendly and kind. She asked about our trip and gave us even more info about local places; I even think it was the owner who walked over briefly and greeted us as well! AND The food was awesome, steamy hot sandwiches, crispy battered fries, and fluffy crepes! The menu really has a little bit of everything for everyone : On our next trip, we will definitely be coming back! "This restaurant was great. I highly recommend it. The pancakes were light and fluffy with a slight chewiness to them. My wife didn't care for this texture, but I enjoyed it. She mentioned that it reminded her of mochiko. The portion size of the chicken fried steak was generous and the flavor was delicious. The beef was tender enough that it didn't require a knife to cut. However, the bacon was thin and limp, which was disappointing. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the current inflation. I overheard the new owners telling a customer that they were the new owners, so take that into consideration if you've been here before (I hadn't)."

"During the many times my group has dined here, both in-house and for takeout, we've had significantly more negative experiences than positive ones. The waitstaff have been unwelcoming and rarely check in on you after taking your order. Additionally, we’ve noticed a lack of coffee refills. As for the takeout service, we often find that items are missing, and there seems to be a lack of attention to detail when packaging the meals, resulting in soggy and disorganized containers. The food and service are just average, which is frustrating. There are plenty of other nearby restaurants that provide a better overall experience. After so many chances, returning here will be difficult."

"update jan 2021: last year sunrise tons has added vegan options to their menu! now you can get vegan breakfast burritos, burrito bowls, chic toasts, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps and more. it was delicious and vegan-friendly, but now it is even better! they also added vegan milk options for coffee. old review: this is one of my favourite restaurants, and it is always busy. when they go to the brunch at the weekend, they expect a waiting time. the menu is large, and there are several vegan options available, including a tofu scrambble to breakfast. the personal is about vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and healthy options, so this is a great place to go with a group of people both with and without food restrictions. the food and drinks are always good, and they can order coffee or cocktails from the bar before they sit when they have to wait for their table. tipp for vegans: after sitting you bring a small bowl with fresh bake for the table. These are not vegan, but they will bring happy they are obstinate, so be sure they know before the time they prefer."

"Food was ok, I reserved a table for a certain time (7pm) to watch the Eagles play their last game of the season, but of course it wasn’t ready. Other patrons were sitting there, so we had to wait at the bar for them to leave before we could sit down. Mind you this is a Saturday night!! And no sooner did we sit down and order drinks that we were informed by the bartender that they were closing by 10 pm! They locked the doors at 9:45pm!!! This is a bar/restaurant!!! Never again will we go there to watch an Eagles game and spend serious $ there!!!!! All these girls cared about was going home! All the TVs were shut off by 9:45pm! It’s a Saturday night for Gods sake!!! The Owner seriously needs to be in location more often! So disappointed in this restaurant!"

"we had only delivered one order from here, a Greek salat a burger w fries, it costs 31! initially they are much overpriced, but not only that they returned to the driver to ask if we want to put the tipp on our card because the driver does not get it in cash! are they serious?! you just got 31 for an salat and a burger w friesand the last time I ordered from you, and told you to add 2 to my card for the tipp you took on you to calculate 5 to my card for a tipp. that's stealing! "Please understand that this rating includes the food to the service. The service was pretty much nonexistent. The waitress took our order (my sister and I), brought our food out and then we never saw her until 20 minutes after we were clearly done eating. The food was okay, though the initial bite of chicken kabobs I had tasted very salty. The biggest disappointment was the cold lemon and rice soup that my sister had, along with no coffee refills until w we had already waited to go. But I did like the whole of the dish together- pita, red onion slices, and the chicken. Drinks were waters, so nothing to complain about expect no refill on the water. The place was clean, a bit crowded (it was after church, so not too crowded for that time of day). Overall, I likely won't return solo."

"This restaurant is a great place to enjoy a meal. There is plenty of parking available. You can choose to dine indoors or in the charming courtyard. I tried the fish tacos and they were absolutely delicious. I plan on trying the crispy chicken tacos next time. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the restaurant is very clean, including the floors, tables, chairs, and windows. They have a well-stocked bar and the bartender makes excellent drinks. The waitstaff are also excellent and made our dining experience very enjoyable. Overall, the service for dining in was top-notch."

"Leeza's Cafe has the The vibe and warmth of a diner that seems like it could have been around for many generations. The staff really makes you feel like you are at home and are a guest. They are very polite and accommodating before and after your meal. This time around I did decided to have the andouille sausage scramble platter with hash browns and wheat toast. I was given the option of regular hash browns or crispy, so of course I went to the wild side and selected crispy. I also had two and a half cups of coffee. The scramble platter was exceptional. Not only did everything look fresh, everything tasted fresh and homemade. Everything was perfectly seasoned and delightful. They give you enough where you are satisfied without being overwhelmed with too much food. Oh, and the coffee was also very good. As you may have noted I had two and a half cups. This is a cafe that you can go to every single day and feel like you are at home. Even if you are not close to the Farmington Hills area, I highly recommend a road trip to this cafe. You will be impressed."

"GLUTEN SENSITIVE PEOPLE PLEASE READ!!!!!!! Blue Heron Caters at the Fox Hill Event Center!!! If you or any one you know that would be attending your wedding that has any food allergies or any issues with food, DO NOT BOOK!!! I had attending a wedding here and have Celiac Disease, which is an autoimmune disease that when I eat gluten or wheat products my body attacks like it's bad. Sadly this means I get very sick when I have it in my system. I had asked the catering staff which items on the table would be gluten free for me to consume. They had no idea and looked at me like I was crazy, and told me to go ask the wedding coordinator so I did, she also did NOT know, then I had to wait for the coordinator to text someone to get an answer, a few minutes she finally told me everything on the table was gluten free but the bread and Salad crutons, so I said thank you. I filled my plate with food and headed to my table to eat! The lady was giving me very unsure vibes, so I pulled out my Nima Sensor that test food for wheat and gluten and it came back positive!!! I had ate a salad off that same plate and got very sick from it. The staff didn't seem to care about the food coming back positive after telling me it didn't contain gluten. I have now been sick for days and have permanent damage to my small intestine. They didn't even offer for other options at all for me, lucky I had snacks in my car so I could at least eat something. And the bride and groom told the owner of the venue that there will be 3 people that are gluten free attending this event and it never even got passed on to the catering company or the coordinator!! Not impressed, good thing I canceled my wedding here. Don't recommend!"

"Service does have its issues as some people stated in reviews below. Service isn't the best and not all the same each time . Short staffed, takes long time to take down our order or come back to refill drinks . But I can say once our breakfast arrives , it's delicious and tasty and you forget all about anything else. Food is consistent each time as I usually get breakfast items as it should be when ordering from Denny's as it's known for. Lumberjack Slam is the best and sampler platter with cheese sticks and onion rings are delicious and best I've tasted against other places . I also noticed past few times. 1 side is always packed , and the other side is closed and empty, for employees to eat ? I'm not sure but would help if they open up both sides since they keep 1 side full of people with no masks, that I usually opt to take my food to go, Still , to go is pretty quick and maybe other empty side can be a waiting area then for a table to free up on other side?"

"This was our first time here. We were seated quickly and server arrived shortly after. Good range of options on the menu. Our party had the salmon, a burger, and a salad. Everyone said their food was excellent. Needless to say the beer selection is amazing. The parking is a little challenging and with all the fencing that was up, we weren't sure where the entrance was when we first arrived."

"I had a craving for Indian food and decided to order the chicken jalfrezi. It turned out to be quite delicious. I placed my order through GrubHub, and the food arrived hot and securely packaged, with saran wrap and a stapled bag. The chicken was tender, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked with a nice crunch. The flavor was good, but I opted for mild and realized I should have chosen medium, as it lacked the spice I enjoy. The portion size was generous—I couldn't finish it in one sitting. The price was also reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants, and it definitely hit the spot for my Indian food craving. I've also tried their chicken tikka masala in the past, and it was equally good."
