"When we asked for a good place to eat on our trip up from Ohio, someone said You can 't go wrong with Monroe Grill! And WOW truly we were blown away. Our waitress was so friendly and kind. She asked about our trip and gave us even more info about local places; I even think it was the owner who walked over briefly and greeted us as well! AND The food was awesome, steamy hot sandwiches, crispy battered fries, and fluffy crepes! The menu really has a little bit of everything for everyone : On our next trip, we will definitely be coming back! We visited this restaurant for the first time today, and despite the busy atmosphere, we were welcomed right away and informed that we would be seated shortly. Our server, Alyssa, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient as we asked various questions about the menu. Even though she had her hands full, she made us feel important and never like a bother. The food was delicious! We opted for a simple breakfast of steak and eggs. As we left, other staff members also wished us a great day. I'm really looking forward to returning for lunch and dinner to sample their drinks. I highly recommend this place—you can't go wrong with excellent food and outstanding service!
