"Delicious, cute, wholesome diner in downtown Chicago. These are hands down some of the best pancakes I have ever had! The skillet was good but greasy. The fries were phenomenal and the wrap looked good too. Mimosas were okay. I will be back to try more things here because the menu is HUGE but it seemed expensive to me- roughly $30 for lunch for one person- no thank you."

"Great place for happy hour and dinner with friends. Three of us went there for an early dinner on a Friday. The weather was beautiful.so the big doors were open and we were able to sit outside but still feel the vibe from the inside. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, fresh, and the portion sizes were filling but not too much. This would be a great place to bring friends, the family or for a date night."

"We spent a significant amount of money on our order, but unfortunately, only one item was correct. I ordered an avocado salad to go with my chimichanga, but it was missing. My son requested the nachos supreme, and instead received two small beef enchiladas. My husband ordered the enchiladas supreme and received what he wanted. I understand that we placed our delivery order 45 minutes before El Vacaros was set to close, but that does not justify receiving anything less than what we paid for! When we dine in, they never place the cheese sauce on the side, despite my repeated requests. And for delivery, we didn’t even receive half of what we ordered. Because of these issues, I am not inclined to return to El Vacaros."

"The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We had a group of 25 for a birthday celebration, and my glass was never empty. I always appreciate attentive service when my drink runs low—it really makes a difference. I ended up with more food than I could finish, and the meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. "First time back in a year. Sadly very disappointed. Price have increased by at least 25% which I could understand due to inflation but food quality has really dropped off. Portions are smaller, Ordered seafood C himi and was undercooked and filled with mock crab for $18.00. Bean were straight out of a can were soupy and rice was bland. Both were unfortunately Luke warm. Service was very good and staff was very polite but come on food quality is frankly very poor. They need to take a step back and reevaluate the operation and get back to the basics of good food. Like the place and want them to succeed but at this rate people will be looking for other option"

"One of the best classic diners. My picture was of the front seating area which is original diner. They also have a more conventional dining area behind. We had breakfast specials which were both reasonably priced and Delicious. Food was cooked your order and very good. I do love their pancakes. The staff was friendly and attentive. When the owner came in and greeted everyone."

"We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. It's no wonder why this place is a local favorite."

"Here for dinner the other night, ended up having to wait 20 minutes or so, when the restaurant didn’t seem that busy.Our waitress came after about 3-5 minutes, to get our drink order. Then it took quite a while to get our appetizers, and it seemed like we had to keep reminding her of stuff we had asked for throughout the meal.We all ordered off of the three 410 menu, most of us getting some kind of sandwich or a hamburger, the chicken patties for the sandwiches being decent size, but a small portion of fries came with it.We ordered chips and salsa as one of the appetizers, and had to keep asking for refills because they kept bringing smaller amounts and were being eaten quickly without being refilled. And when the waitress asked if we would like a fresh set to take home with us after we paid our bill, she disappeared and never reach her to the table with them?"

"Met friends for a casual lunch. Started with drinks an appetizer. When meals were ordered, one of our foursome ordered her lunch plus a take-out order. I was dismayed when her takeout order arrived before our lunches, and it was not prepared to-go. She told the server it was to be to-go, so it went back to the kitchen. When it came back, in a clear to-go box, half of the meal was missing! The fries and corn which had been part of the meal the first time it came out was gone. Then the server told her those don 't come with an appetizer--apparently it somehow morphed from being a lunch special (as it was initially prepared into an appetizer. Then my friend had to explain that she had not ordered an appetizer. When the server still said these don 't come with it, my friend asked for a menu to show her what was included on the lunch special. Later, she got the fries.I don 't know what happened to the corn. Our lunches never arrived 'til after the take-out order. What restaurant does that???We were calm during all of that. Then came time to pay. Our checks were never brought, so one of the group asked for them. The server said You pay on that and pointed to a credit card processor (or not! Keep reading . She said they don 't take payments. One in our group asked What if I want to pay cash? Then the server said she 'd take her payment. For the rest of us, we took our turns on the machine that I had thought was an online menu. One in the group had an incorrect bill. The manager came to help with that but didn 't seem at all concerned that their customer was overcharged. Then it was my turn. My payment did not go through, and the processor gave me a message saying it did not go through because someone was adding an item to our (cumulative? bill. I assumed it was the manager who was trying to fix the errors on my friend 's bill. It also said I 'd have to re-do the payment and that I might see a posting on my credit card account from my initial payment. I certainly didn 't want a double payment, so I said to the manager I did not want to pay using his card processor because it had indicated to me I might see a posting from the initial attempt. He said they do not accept payments other than through their processor. I replied (not heatedly that if that is so, it should be made clear to customers upon arrival. He looked at me but made no apology or even acknowledgement of what I 'd said. He merely took my credit card to see what he could do . Then he passed our table a couple of times with no follow-up and of course, he still had my card. When he came back, he said I 'd have to pay through the processor or else use cash. Fortunately I had cash for if I had not, I would have been an even more unhappy customer than I was. Neither the wait staff nor this manager seemed even slightly concerned at all the missteps and errors in how they handled our orders and payments. People reading this will probably think, Poor Chili 's; they probably don 't have enough staff. That 's not it. They had plenty of staff for the small number of tables occupied with customers. I like Chili 's, but this one is off my list."

"Great prices for even better food. Good drinks. Service was good but my only thing was that the waiter didn't ask if we wanted refills, we had to flag him down, but no biggie. Had games to watch while eating with my family. The greeting and just plain acknowledgement from all employees even though they weren't our servers was a amazing experience. It's very family friendly and peaceful. I will definitely bring my family and others back and happily spend my money."

"I was truly impressed! I had been warned that Arnold was a place we should avoid, as the community felt outdated. However, I'm happy to say I decided to check it out for myself. We stopped by for lunch, and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Kyle was our server, and he was a perfect gentleman—very polite and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. The other patrons were also friendly; I didn’t encounter any troublemakers, thankfully. Arnold, I hope to visit your neighborhood again and experience that same great atmosphere!"

"I ordered the Country Scramble with hash browns and rye toast. Food was good, however, I like the french toast with sliced bananas and strawberries much better. The huge downside to sitting inside as I did on that Sunday morning, June 2nd, was the extremely loud juicer machine. Absolutely deafening! Outside seating was full so not an option. I rated my dining experience at Seymours Cafe two stars rather than one star because the food and service were above average, just not enough to rate them at five stars. Also the non cash discount at 3.99% seems a little steep so if paying with a credit card be aware of that additional fee."

"I was in the opposite and needed lunch before I went to a dr’s appointment. they had recently opened so that the sitting area was not ready. there is a large selection of good looking sandwich options. I chose one of their breakfast bowls instead. I have a mix of quinoa, sweet, with two sunny side eggs. I'm restless when it comes to my rush and how they're tired. they were overcooked. my fault, not to indicate. the bowl was tasty, but with control and drinking money came to a dirty 15 dollar. that seems to be overestimated. all their sandwiches were also on the expensive side."

"Truck parking is an amazing plus! Food flavors were good, portions were a bit more then average so good there too. Prices are 3 times maybe 4 times more then needed. Banana pancakes, sausage n ham, Bacon omlete with home fries came to 50$ The biggest kick in the teeth was I went to pick it up on sunday june 23rd, I was waiting to the side and heard the manager pull the cashier to the side and tell him to get me out! Where was my ticket? why was I still standing there, He needs to go now! The nice waitress with my order told him the She has my stuff and that SHE has me handled. It just rubbed me wrong the way this guy acted, it was not proffesional. Yeah I know I 'm a fat n ugly trucker but my money is just as green as everyone else 's. We probably won 't be back."

"When we asked for a good place to eat on our trip up from Ohio, someone said You can 't go wrong with Monroe Grill! And WOW truly we were blown away. Our waitress was so friendly and kind. She asked about our trip and gave us even more info about local places; I even think it was the owner who walked over briefly and greeted us as well! AND The food was awesome, steamy hot sandwiches, crispy battered fries, and fluffy crepes!
