"Their service was horrible I had a knee problem and it was raining so I ordered curbside pick up I called them they asked me to come in, when I went in bald guy asked me for my phone to show him my order I had forgot it in my car cuz I was frustrated due to a pain, I had to go back out walk to Sunoco get my phone so I did and I put it on top of the table so he could see it, but he was like I can not touch your phone pick it up and show me so I did and he couldn’t see it cuz I was little bit far from him cuz he was whining about covid and I stood 6ft from him, then he grabbed my phone and started looking closer. I’m sure their food is good but service wise they suck."

"A new favorite of mine for high quality sushi and Japanese cuisine. If you plan to dine in, recommend getting a reservation. A favorite dish from our meal was the wonton soup. And no, I 'm not a soup guy. But the broth was so rich in flavor and clearly scratch made. The soup was packed with greens and veggies, very hearty and well worth the space it took in my stomach, as the udon noodle dish was not nearly as worthy. There was a strong mustard flavor on the noodles and there were more veggies in the soup than in the veggie udon! Noodles were cooked properly and ate just fine but that 's all they were, just fine . The agadashi tofu was a second favorite. A tofu dish that was lightly fried, silky, served in a broth that was subtly sweet and bursting with earthy aroma. We also very much enjoyed the variety of maki rolls we tried. Crab rangoons were a proper representation of what you would want in the north shore. The pork gyoza were delicate and pan fried, portions were well worth adding it as a first appy."

"My family was treated bad and was not allowed to go inside the restaurant since we had a service animal. The owner(Joe) treated us with no dignity and we were expelled from the restaurant stating that our service animal does not have proper documentation and we are interrupting his busy schedule of business. I’m a service connected veteran and I did not expect this. There were so many people in the restaurant and we were embarrassed in front of all. Our K9 for veterans vice president called yesterday and is waiting for a call back from you. Please make a comment about the response and edit it Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"We visited this restaurant shortly after it opened a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, on our most recent visit, we were disappointed. The halibut was overcooked and rubbery, and the monkfish was unexpectedly breaded and fried. The halibut ceviche lacked flavor and the pickled vegetables were mostly radishes with only a few pieces of carrots and bell pepper. Our meal, without wine, cost almost $200 and we were expecting higher quality for the price. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this restaurant."

"Incredible dinning experience at this 113 year old restaurant Our food was fabulous and our waiter Cliff was a perfect 10 plus star gentleman. We had just finished a fishing charter with Galveston Offshore which was terrific and then headed to the restaurant for dinner I would highly recommended this restaurant"

"Was really looking forward to trying Virgils. The Memphis BBQ ribs were excellent. However, I was deeply disappointed with the Texas BBQ brisket. All I had was pieces of fat. Very little actual meat."

"Honestly I would give this establishment 0 stars. Going off of the good reviews I was tricked into ordering. I placed the order and couldn’t decide between the butterfly shrimp and the fan tail shrimp. Not having the menu but still taking a chance I called to order telling the man who took the order I couldn’t decide. He never once corrected me as I ordered the fried scallop , shrimp and broccoli then wanting to ordered fried shrimp. He said fantail is fried and butterfly shrimp is egg foo young . I had this order delivered and then called on the phone stating that I got egg foo young. The lady there was belligerent over the phone , loud , yelling , telling me stop talking and listen to her. This made me and my boyfriend go to return the delivered food. This place was like a chinese restaurant in the hood with no customers , husband and wife I am guessing as the both greeted us yelling , pointing at the pictures on the menu . I then explained that it looks like egg foo young and i didn’t see any shrimp. Then told her when you google butterfly shrimp it shows fried large shrimp as i have ordered before from other chinese fast food restaurants. She got even more nasty and said don’t look at google and here take back your money and don’t order here anymore. I said gladly the food was horrible and had no taste. I can see why they were empty and they had to put their own reviews in to boost the scores. This is how you respond to first time customers. I have lived in this neighborhood for over 10 years and never have received horrible nasty service like this. I warn you do not order here! Save your money , I am also writing to the better business bureau and consumer complaint board. Lady your business needs to be in the hood not here, not with that attitude. The only reason I kept my composure while she yelled is because I am in law enforcement and viewed her as an emotionally disturbed person. This establishment will answer these reviews and argue , but customers are always right your nasty attitude and telling people don’t come back in Long Island will shut the business down and have customers give more bad reviews. No customers equal closed business. Please take some classes in hospitality and business."

"We've visited this restaurant a few times now and are already looking forward to our next trip. We were a bit disappointed that the elevator was out of order, as my husband recently had hip surgery and navigating stairs can be challenging for him. However, he managed to make it up and down. We absolutely love the views, especially during sunset and while watching the intercoastal traffic. The food was fantastic; I had the grilled platter while my husband opted for the fried platter, swapping out the crab cakes for a soft shelled crab for an extra charge, which he said was definitely worth it. I had read great reviews about the blueberry margaritas on TripAdvisor, so I had to give it a try—it's incredibly delicious! Our server was exceptional as well."

"MV Chowder Company in Oak Bluffs is an absolute gem for both locals and visitors alike. Their award-winning clam chowder, uniquely prepared without bacon or gluten, is a revelation in itself. The creamy, velvety broth is rich with the essence of the sea, while tender clams add a delightful textural contrast. It's a testament to their commitment to flavor, ensuring that every diner can savor this maritime classic. Additionally, their Lobster Roll, adorned with bacon and preserved lemon, is a stroke of culinary genius. The smoky, salty notes of bacon complement the sweet, succulent lobster meat beautifully, and the preserved lemon adds a zesty brightness that elevates the entire experience!!!! What sets MV Chowder Company apart is not only their exceptional menu but also their unwavering dedication to the community. Open year-round, it serves as a comforting beacon for locals, providing a welcoming space to gather and enjoy fantastic food. The menu caters to diverse tastes, ensuring there's something for everyone, whether you're a seafood enthusiast or prefer other delectable options. The cozy ambiance and top-notch service (Jeff is the best server ever!! further enhance the dining experience, making MV Chowder Company a must on Martha's Vineyard."

"This restaurant is a good choice for casual or a step up. Every meal I have ordered is very good. I tried the chopped salad recently. It was very large and the tomato shallot dressing was a creamy soft taste. I think I would ask for a different dressing with more zing next time around"

"Decided to try a new place this evening, huge mistake! We will never return! Other than our server being very friendly and attentive (even though we never got straws for our drinks, maybe they were out). The food was beyond the worst food I have evergotten at any restaurant, especially one who?s name fools you into thinking they have good steaks/fish/burgers. We ordered onesteak and baked potato, one steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes and one burger and fries. The steaks were beaten so bad onlyto make them look larger, they were very, very dry and too difficult to cut/chew. If you enjoy leather, you may enjoy thesteaks! My husbands steak was half fat and he left still hungry after paying so much for the food! Spending that much money onfood that my dogs wouldn?t even eat is ridiculous. I could?ve gotten the same food at any other restaurant and it would?ve beencheaper and much better tasting! How this restaurant has any decent reviews baffles me!"

"If you want a really good steak then don't go to downtown Frederick. Go to the Red Horse Steak House at the entrance to the Golden Mile. I've never had a fillet at any other restaurant in Frederick that is anywhere near the quality for tenderness and taste that I've only had at the Red Horse. While others beef is acceptable. Beef at the Red Horse is spectacular! You can also count on tasty sides like the oven-roasted Brussel sprouts, green beans, et al The service is friendly, swift, and excellent. The Red Horse is very clean and sanitized. All staff were wearing masks and sufficiently spaced apart. We felt very safe throughout our dining experience The owner, Kenny Bromfield, always presents himself at your table to ensure that everything is to your liking. Kenny is usually on the premises taking care of his customers and ensuring the quality of your meal The Red Horse stocks a selection of fine wine and a full-service bar. I particularly enjoyed the Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley Oregon Vintage with my beautiful fillet mignon. Treat yourself and enjoy dinner at the Red Horse Steak House."

"Very disappointing. We came due to the high ratings. This is the first restaurant review I have ever posted. Unfortunately , my experience was so poor that I had to warn others. We arrived, and requested bread for the table. 35 minutes later, our entrees came out, still no bread. I ordered the pasta with shrimp and clams, for 28$. I quickly noticed there were no clams , and brought it to the attention of the server. He apologized and said the kitchen ran out, and that they had given me “extra” shrimp, he had just forgotten to tell me. There was one extra shrimp if ANY , according to the photos posted online. He stated he would give me a discount on the dish, which ended up being a crisp 5$ bill. It’s been a whole hour and the bread still has not come out . When we asked for the fourth time he told us he didn’t know what to say, and that he keeps getting yelled at by the kitchen staff. As we look around and see tables that had JUST sat down receive bread. Terrible experience. We left hungry, agitated, and with a 150 dollar bill. (We ordered no drinks) . Will not be back"

"This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was truly impressed. The customer service was outstanding, and the hospitality from the owners and staff was exceptional. I picked up some delicious, hefty steamed crabs next door at Seafood Day to Day, then went to their connected spot, Happy Times Seafood, for more seafood options. The golden fried shrimp were fresh, crispy, and absolutely delightful. Although it was my first experience here, I can definitely say it will be my go-to place from now on! I saw many patrons enjoying their seafood boils, and I can’t wait to try one during my next visit. A big thank you to Tallat, Alya, and Waseem!"
