"On Taco Tuesdays, they offer $1.50 mini tacos (steak, beef, pork), so I tried a pork taco. Unfortunately, it was dry and bland, requiring a generous amount of hot sauce just to make it enjoyable. My mom ordered the red enchilada dinner, which comes with three enchiladas. However, when she tried to cut into one, it was so burnt on the underside that we had to ask for a replacement. They were quick to accommodate but only swapped out two of the enchiladas since my mom had already taken a bite of the first one. To our disappointment, the replacements were also overcooked, and it made us wonder why they didn’t just replace the third one as well, especially since the original order was inedible. Lastly, I found the horchata to be quite disappointing—it had a strange bubblegum flavor reminiscent of chewing gum for too long, with just a hint of something else. Overall, it was a lackluster dining experience."

"Our second time here, and we are very satisfied and pleased with this casual, cozy eatery. Interesting and tasty appetizers--we had the fish tacos and the grilled brussel sprouts, with the brussel sprouts being particularly good. The salmon was prepared to perfection, with a crisp top and rare (per our request) inside. The cracked pepper gourmet burger was fantastic--cooked perfectly. Everything was attractive and more than ample. Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. We look forward to our next visit."

"Absolutely fantastic food! The service was excellent, and the ambiance was truly classy. I ordered the famous fall-off-the-bone ribs and the prime rib. The ribs were a wonderful example of Chicago-style ribs—extremely tender, high-quality baby back pork ribs with a touch of achar and a tangy BBQ sauce served on the side. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and accompanied by homemade horseradish sauce. They also have an impressive wine selection, and Bill, the partner there, demonstrated great knowledge about it; you could tell they’ve put a lot of thought into their offerings. I can’t wait to return and try more items from the menu! Today, I also sampled the happy hour specials, and I must say, these are some of the best specials I’ve ever experienced!"

"Do not come here… I came a few days ago and gave them my card to start a tab and then paid out in cash. Fast forward a few days later here I am getting charged a $6.96 bill and I WASN’T EVEN THERE. I did not even step foot in the building, wasn’t even in the state and here they are charging my card for what?! Why are you charging people’s cards when they aren’t even there?! Transaction said 9/13/2021 at 12:16am… I was in MARYLAND. Did not even come to Sterling at all. Very janky and super unprofessional then they don’t open til 4 so calling does nothing. DO NOT COME HERE AND IF YOU DO PAY IN CASH DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD FOR ANY REASON THEY WILL STASH THE NUMBERS AND RUN YOUR CARD FOR TRANSACTIONS YOU WEREN’T EVEN THERE FOR"

"SAVE your money people and eat at home. Service was odd. We were met with....we are out of a ton of things. Ambiance feels like an IHOP someone attempted to make into man space. Really wanted to like this place. Limited beer selection. Cheese sticks tasted more like grease sticks. Absolutely gross. French dip was more bread than meat and au jus was spicy (who makes spicy au jus, just wrong). They offered to make something else after they insisted several times it's not spicy. We had everyone in the party try it and it was damn sure spicy. At this point the rest of the party is almost done. They even screw up sweet potato fries. Mine were over done and flavorless...how? They managed. Salmon burger was dry. Burger tasted like a premade frozen patty with no flavor. Beer cheese burger with a super thin coat of beer cheese. Won't return."

"that's a bit out. Seafood options, simple or baked, sold by the pfund and can be fried before location. side products and dips are available for additional prices. not sure what are all options. the prices are a bit high for the quality and portion sizes of food. wels nuggets fell flat after taste. they also fried up to small crispy baked fish and pieces. the hush puppies were over fried and fried in the same fish fat, so they taste like old fried crispy fish balls instead of hush puppies. have eaten a few pieces of each and the rest shattered. dissatisfied and disappointed that this is the only fried fish spot I know in the north. I won't be back. my experience was lacking, so there is not much to recommend for me. honestly, I'm sceptical for the last 5 star reviews. I can assure them that there is nothing absolutely 5 stars about the fish keg, periodt. all or most used products can be bought in their local food. *dips that should be free for the paying customer are available for fee."

"I went to Flanders to see Julie and it was an awesome experience! We are traveling and stopped in Niantic for the night and were looking for a good restaurant. The hotel clerk recommended Flanders and he was spot on. The thing I liked the most was howfriendly everyone who worked there and how much of a team effort they put forth. We had multiple people pick up empty plates, ask if we needed anything and tell us thanks for being there. Julie did an excellent job of waiting on us and making us feelwelcome. The food was fresh and fantastic. Cooked to perfection, very tasty and reasonably priced. What a great place!!"

"I would suggest avoiding the Lenten special at this restaurant. The white fish, walleye, and catfish all tasted the same and were served in very small portions. The waitress was unable to differentiate between the dishes on the plate, stating that once they were breaded and fried, even the chef couldn't tell them apart. The clam chowder was enjoyable, but the bread served with the meal was disappointing. For the price of $26 including tax and tip, I expected more than a cold onion bun and half a slice of rustic Italian bread. I would recommend the owner provide customers with a whole bun and slice of bread, as well as educate the staff on the different types of fish served. Additionally, serving food on a cloth napkin was a big turn off. Overall, I was not impressed with the dining experience."

"Great local restaurant, the staff is always very welcoming and charming. It’s a casual dining restaurant, I always feel homey and comfortable. Definitely try the brussel sprouts and the ice cream sandwich!!! If you are a fan of wings, they are as big as they are delicious and they have Thursday wing special with different flavours each week. I am not a big fan of the truffle fries, as they come with a bunch of rosemary and other spices, you can’t taste any truffle. It is very strong and overwhelming in my opinion, but if you like that kind of thing, it might be something new to try?"

"Official review here, look no further for the facts and please see my photos! I rate this food relative buffets of this kind, not high end, inner city authentic foods and known sushi places. For a buffet, here is the reason for 3 stars. The good: Restaurant was clean, food well stocked, service was prompt and polite, and there is a lot more variety than the buffet in Athens...that said, I believe the ownership is the same. The sushi wasn't alarming, just wasn't fantastic in flavor. For buffet grade...not bad. The Bad: Some food wasn't to temp, and some was downright poorly flavored. Some chicken was dry, the wonton soup has mush for wontons. The BBQ ribs and buffalo wings...yuck. Some dishes were good though, but I would say less than half what went on my plate was pleasing, that half though, got me to the asking price and made the experience ok. In the end, you'll get your money worth and overall it won't be a bad experience. The habachi will save you here, as will the shear variety. It's worth a one time visit to decide for yourself, but you're safe spending the money here once for sure."

"The food at this restaurant is always consistently amazing! However, the service has always been below average. I have avoided dining here a few times specifically because of the service. While the food is great, there are many other restaurants in Bethesda that offer equally great food with much better service. Additionally, I was surprised to learn that there is a fee for not paying with cash. I only dine here when I absolutely crave one of their dishes, otherwise I prefer to go to Woodmont Grill."

"Overall, it was a very good experience. My family hadn't been there in a while and noticed that prices have gone up by about 20%. The restaurant was extremely busy, with every table filled, which suggests that the value is still strong. We were seated quickly, and the service was good. The food selection was impressive, with hot dishes served hot and cold dishes served cold, all freshness guaranteed. We used a Groupon, which was easy to redeem and helped make the pricing more manageable. I really love the variety of sushi they offer. I see they also have some other options that I must try someday."

"Great for groups of 4-6. The long tables seat 8, theoretically, but to enjoy hotpot or bbq, some elbow room is nice. Variety pretty wide. Music two notches too high. Hazy steamy vibe reminds me of sauna or hot spring and everyone looks younger in throught the haze, just don’t wear cashmere or wool, unless you enjoy the lasting aroma soaked in your sweater. Drinks not included in the all you can eat price. On the pricy side, esp if you are not into the weirder stuff on the menu (offal, tongue, ear, which I personally like). For the more regular fare, there are hotpot buffets of better value in this wonderful town of Philly.Per head Sunday lunch price for hotpot/bbq combo table is 32.95, before tax and tip."

"They fall into the category of many, short staffed. We sat 20 minutes before being asked for a drink order. Our food order took another 10 minutes to give to the server. Food was wonderful as always. Tables were quite cozy. We went on Friday about 5pm. Be sure you like the people you are eating with because there is plenty of conversation time. The pork chop is one of the best we've found in any restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp in to restaurant but table are close. I'm sure they would accommodate when needed and the first tables are open for wheelchair."

"I was intending on eating somewhere else in that same area. My family and I happened to come across Taqueria Lagos. We decide to give it a try. We came around 2. Entering the restaurant we did not see many people which gave us a concern about their quality. I am glad however that we stayed and ordered here. The food was so good!!! I got a California burrito with carne asada. The meat was cooked and seasoned just right! My wife got a carne asada burrito and my son got a cheese quesadilla. We were all very happy! Will definitely come back!"
