"As usual, the food, and the service was very good. The staff seem to be down and bewildered. I asked what was wrong. They said the general manager Steve was working his last day at the Brick Brew. We met Steve 3 to 4 years ago, and he was one of the main reasons we made the Brick Brew a regular stop. His attention to detail his sense of humor, and always being impeccably dressed are just some of the highlights. We met the new manager, and she was very nice but dressed in a nirvana T-shirt a sweater, jeans, and flip-flops or sandals. The staff told me they were in tears when he left the building and a couple customers told me Steve is going to be the GM at Joey chops in Malvern. We will be sure to start supporting him in his new endeavor."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"What a fantastic discovery! My friend and I were on our way to the zoo and wanted a substantial breakfast. We prefer locally owned places and came across Pena's Donut Heaven Grill. It was incredible! My friend ordered the Pena breakfast and raved about how delicious it was. I opted for the Migas, and they were absolutely amazing. The tortilla strips had the perfect balance of crunch and texture. The eggs were well-seasoned, and the refried beans were full of flavor. But the highlight was definitely the potatoes! They were cooked to perfection with delightful spices. I highly recommend checking this place out. Next time, I think we’ll have to try the donuts!"

"Came to Denver for fun last weekend, and this was our splurge meal for the trip. I loved the area that Acorn was in part of a larger building and collective think stylish coffee shops and small vendors. We were able to get a same day (albeit, late) reservation for 8:45pm on a Friday evening. We were seated quickly but service was very slow. Maybe 10 15 minutes in between each check in, like our order of drinks and then our order of food. With the pace aside, we really enjoyed our meal. Presentation is gorgeous and the dishes were very tasty. Here 's what we ordered for 2 people to share: Kale Apple Salad Wagyu Beef Tartare (a must get) Mussels Clams (and extra bread for dipping) Jimmy Red Grits Pistachio Diplomat for dessert Kale Apple salad was chopped finely and seasoned very well. Odd and tough chewy bits were removed, and each thin sliver was coated in an even layer of tart vinaigrette. Definitely pricey for such a simple and petite salad, but this was one of my favorite dishes because it was light and straightforward. Now, my favorite dish, was definitely the Wagyu Tartare. Stunning presentation, very fresh meat, and salty and tasty. Mussels and Clams were good, I feel like this is always such a hit or miss at restaurants, and I would say it 's prepared pretty well here. Broth was savory and we followed our server 's recommendation for ordering an extra plate of bread to dip. The toasty bread actually stood out to me the most our server explained that the pieces are swiped with saffron. Jimmy red grits came in an unassuming small bowl of what looked like gravy. Hardly any texture, flat top, no curb appeal. But the flavor was so rich and decadent. Pretty cheesy and honestly made my stomach hurt it 's a heavy one. Pistachio dessert really was not a fan of this one. It 's a lemon cake made with rose water that was a bit too floral and nauseatingly sweet for my taste. Dunked in a thick green pistachio cream, cake underneath was slightly stale and crummy. I would recommend trying a different dessert. All in all, a bit pricey (cocktails are around the $16 range), but a fun experience. We were there for almost 2 hours. Love the decor and the music."

"I had the pleasure of dining in for brunch recently, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The meal cost between $10 and $20 per person, which I found to be quite reasonable given the quality. The food was impressive, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Each dish was well-prepared and flavorful, making it a satisfying start to the day. The service was equally commendable, also rated at 4 stars. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our needs were met with a smile. The atmosphere of the restaurant contributed to the overall positive experience. With a cozy and inviting setting, I would also give it a rating of 4. In summary, this brunch spot is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for good food, decent service, and a pleasant vibe!"

"If I could give lower than one star I would!! I have never been treated so bad in my life at any place, as I was on the night of the march 20th. The lady working the casino area was so rude she even ran the vacuum into my chair twice didn't even say anything. She grabbed the ticket right out of my hand when i was handing it to my husband. We were never asked if we wanted anything after she was told by another waitress that my husband was waiting to cash a ticket she still took 5-10 min to help him. The only time we saw her was when she told us it was about time to close. When it was time to go she treated me and my friends and my family like garbage, awful. I have worked customer service my whole life and I would never want someone like that working for me. Some people just shouldn't work customer service."

"I was so impressed by this place I actually got on Facebook to write a review! The owner and their crew are so friendly and genuine and well versed in the menu. The restaurant is beautiful with a magnificent view of the Pikes Peak. We have to dine on the terrace around the fire pit! It was really funny and we had such a beautiful view. You have the best happy hour I've ever seen! You have such a fantastic and well-developed beverage menu as well as a diverse and sophisticated dinner menu. Prices are very reasonable! I would sincerely pay more for the food if they found the thing I found the most impressive was to find out they make their own ketchup in the house! How many restaurants do that?? This definitely tells you how dedicated they are to serve great food. I was so happy with my food and service and plan to come back here often! Colorado Springs got an enormous boost for the food scene when The Wobbly Olive opened! Thanks for a great meal!"

"Good, simple breakfast place with the regular staples of the trade. Hospitable, will refill your coffee cup as often as you want, and do their best to get out of your way and let you enjoy your meal. I had a western omelette with an addition of green Chile, tasty and not greasy. The home-made fries were good and the sourdough bread fresh. Coffee was not strong but not watery either. I would give a 4 star to the breakfast food, 5 star to the service, 5 star on cleanliness, and 5 star for hospitality. Mother Hubbard was of the same type, Happy Rooster very similar, Joe?s Pancake House has a bit more choice on the menu? Bread and Butter definitely is at par with other good breakfast places. Recommended!"

"Never had a bad experience at Perkins. At my last visit, the waitress was attentive and courteous. She came back several times to see if we needed anything. The food was excellent and came out right away. 10/10 would recommend if you're jonesing for some Pancakes. Oh, and always take a muffin to go. You know you wanna! "This place is a hidden gem in Billings. I googled best homemade breakfast in Billings and tried a few of the spots before coming to Red Rooster, but have not tried SINCE coming to Red Rooster anymore. It's my go-to breakfast place, the food is always absolutely fabulous, it tastes like the actual home cooking made like Grandma earlier. My husband and I are from Texas/Florida and we have all lived across the nation's coast to coast, up to down and we both guarentee Red Rooster thinks it for themselves against any breakfast place you've ever been. You did it! You can't beat that! If you try from the south, their cookies and Gravy, I bet you are pressed hard to say you had much better."

"A great place for a quick sweet treat and fresh cup of coffee! They 've got a large selection of both classic and specialty cakes. My husband and I grabbed four the Peanut Butter Pocket, Blueberry Cream Cheese Pocket, Buttercream Bismark and BirthdayCake Donut. The pockets are basically filled donuts. I didn 't think my Blueberry Cream Cheese Pocket was all to great. Thecream cheese filling was almost tasteless and the only part that was blueberry was the miniscule dollop of over sweetened jamplace on the top. The glaze around it was a great inclusion but super duper messy. A ton flaked off which eat bite. Neither ofus were impressed by the Peanut Butter Pocket. The PB filling was insanely dry. On the flip side, the other two were delish. The Buttercream Bismark filling was phenomenal. It was super thick and there was a generous amount. It paired well with thechocolate frosting. The real winner was the Birthday Cake Donut. The vanilla glaze was almost like candy. It smooth, creamy andblended deliciously with the moist, vanilla cake. Sometimes, simple is better. : Prices are a tad high, too, IMO. All fourdonuts and a small house coffee was $23.50. The donuts are big, though, so it 's slightly justified. But I 've had better donutsfor far less in Chicago. Not sure if I will be back but I 'm glad I have Stan 's a shot."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"We absolutely love this local gem! We've been coming here since 2012, and we can't get enough of the oyster bombs and crab cakes. The hogfish is fantastic too! The atmosphere is great, and the wait staff is wonderful, especially Juan, who is delightful. Just a heads up—if you don’t arrive early, be prepared to wait. We can’t wait for the new addition to be completed! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner"
