"Came to Denver for fun last weekend, and this was our splurge meal for the trip. I loved the area that Acorn was in part of a larger building and collective think stylish coffee shops and small vendors. We were able to get a same day (albeit, late) reservation for 8:45pm on a Friday evening. We were seated quickly but service was very slow. Maybe 10 15 minutes in between each check in, like our order of drinks and then our order of food. With the pace aside, we really enjoyed our meal. Presentation is gorgeous and the dishes were very tasty. Here 's what we ordered for 2 people to share: Kale Apple Salad Wagyu Beef Tartare (a must get) Mussels Clams (and extra bread for dipping) Jimmy Red Grits Pistachio Diplomat for dessert Kale Apple salad was chopped finely and seasoned very well. Odd and tough chewy bits were removed, and each thin sliver was coated in an even layer of tart vinaigrette. Definitely pricey for such a simple and petite salad, but this was one of my favorite dishes because it was light and straightforward. Now, my favorite dish, was definitely the Wagyu Tartare. Stunning presentation, very fresh meat, and salty and tasty. Mussels and Clams were good, I feel like this is always such a hit or miss at restaurants, and I would say it 's prepared pretty well here. Broth was savory and we followed our server 's recommendation for ordering an extra plate of bread to dip. The toasty bread actually stood out to me the most our server explained that the pieces are swiped with saffron. Jimmy red grits came in an unassuming small bowl of what looked like gravy. Hardly any texture, flat top, no curb appeal. But the flavor was so rich and decadent. Pretty cheesy and honestly made my stomach hurt it 's a heavy one. Pistachio dessert really was not a fan of this one. It 's a lemon cake made with rose water that was a bit too floral and nauseatingly sweet for my taste. Dunked in a thick green pistachio cream, cake underneath was slightly stale and crummy. I would recommend trying a different dessert. All in all, a bit pricey (cocktails are around the $16 range), but a fun experience. We were there for almost 2 hours. Love the decor and the music."

Near the Source Hotel/Collection this is a great place for a business or date night dinner. My service is always always on point and lots of small plates to share. Now the concept is seasonal and always farm to table, but so is everything else in Denver. The difference is in the execution. 1) Vegetarian Friendly 2) Meat Lovers delight 3) You kind of feel sexy in here.

First and foremost we love Acorn's amazing food and atmosphere. But we have been especially impressed with The management team at Acorn. My fiancé and I have had many changes to our wedding, and we had planned on having our rehearsal dinner at Acorn. They have been more than supportive and flexible. We ultimately had to cancel our rehearsal dinner and Acorn was so great to work with and really helped make such a challenging time as easy as they could for us. Thank you Acorn!

Industrial sheikh is one way to describe this place. Not sure what more you could ask for. Great neighborhood. Great architecture. Great food. Great cocktails. Everything is just GREAT. The cocktails are top notch. We sat at the bar and watched the bartender take precious detail into each beverage that he hand crafted for us. Honestly, compared to places like LA, NY, and DC, the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food fare. Don't miss the wagyu beef tartare. That's a killer knock out.

Oh man, some of the best food we had during our visit to Denver!! And we were sober enough to remember it. Acorn is located in a very cool food hall. We made reservations and got seated right away. We ordered a bunch of things to share. A bottle of wine, beef tartare, golden rice, mussels and clams, half roasted chicken, half aged dry duck, the ribeye steak, and the pistachio dessert. Wow! The food was good. My favorites were the mussels and clams, duck and steak. The duck was delicious- they cook it two ways, roasted and one was like crispy fried. The steak was cooked to perfection, nicely seasoned. A place I definitely recommend and would come back if I'm in the area. Food was on another l... View menu

Wow. After hearing so much about this spot and how incredible was, I jumped at the first opportunity to come here. What a disappointment. Our waitress didn 't have a clue about anything and instead of offering to find out the answers to a few questions, like what meat was used for the meatballs, we were left with a lot of I thinks when it comes to dining, allergies and the overly priced menu items, I would expect actual answers. The menu was disappointing, with four of the 10 12 items on their already limited menu being cheese dishes. Weird. I love cheese but don 't need 40% of the menu being such. Not only that but they had the audacity to bring this burnt grilled cheese out and we had to a...

mid day is a weird time to visit any eatery, but I was on a long layover and in search of good eats... and boy did I find them. Acorn is located in the super hipster, trendy part of Denver, in which they are quickly building high rise condos and apartments for those in search of a perfect work/ life balance. Inside the source you find local eateries, florists, butcher shops, and artists. So why not set your ass down at Acorn and try some great food and drink right? I had a great local craft, the Kale salad, and the meatballs. The bartender suggested I get a 1/2 salad because the full was enough for a meal by itself. He was totally right. The salad was perfection. I loved how they finely chop...

I visited Acorn during my last business trip out in Denver. We ended up going there for lunch and dinner during my visit. It's located in the center of an interesting complex, The Source and It's designed in a way that in the summertime you can sit outside and enjoy the breeze. We loved the hip vibe of the refurbished iron foundry, the music and warm atmosphere. Our waiter was attentive, very responsive about food allergies and helpful in answering questions about the menu and drinks. The dishes we had were all fantastic. The kale and apple salad and pimento cheese appetizer are very tasty and I highly recommend both. They also partner with Reunion bakery from the complex and had their sourd... View menu

Acorn is located in the marketplace of The Source. Hidden away amongst other businesses, this place is definitely a gem. We ordered the Pork Rinds with Pimento Cheese, Heirloom Blue Cornbread, Wagyu Beef Tartare, Red Beets, Mussels Clams, and Half Dry Aged Duck. I thought everything was quite good. The only dish I didn't love was the Mussels Clams. I didn't enjoy the tangy broth. I prefer a more umami flavor with Mussels and Clams. The Pork Rinds were yummy and crispy. The pimento cheese was the perfect dip for them. The Heirloom Blue Cornbread was fabulous with the honey butter it came with. The Wagyu Beef Tartare was sooo yummy. Such a flavor explosion! It had bright notes of citrus that r...

Hands down this was the best meal we had during our trip to Denver/Boulder/Estes. What an absolute delight. Very hip warehouse-style food court in what must be the booming art district of Denver. Aptly named 5 points, this neighborhood reminds me of Long Island City, queens 10 years ago and of the once historic 5 points art studio. So we couldn't get reservations but there was bar seating with no wait for 2 (Saturday 7 pm . Great great service. Knowledgeable and friendly bartender. I had a top notch sour beer from the artistry line that was so good. The cocktails looked really good but I was the driver so I behaved. As for ordering, good luck. It's really hard to pick between pork, chicken a...

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"
